It has been the norm for over 5 years in NAFDAC. It is a form of insurance over any damages incurred by the students during the course of the program such as breaking of test tubes, damage of machines etc . The money is refundable in full after the duration of the program if the students did not damage anything.

Did u see anything like refundable on the letter?They should spelt it out.For the fact the money to be paid is on the letter and nothing like repayable on it,it is fraud/corruption

.I am in medical field.If u are in medical field u will know it is 100% possible.What are the causes of appendicitis: foreign body(condom can be one),fecal impaction and other things.Have u heard of appendix mass?What is the difference btw appendix mass and appendix?Condom is just like a waterproof.It can enter the appendix provided it is in the digestive system.It did not occur to you that some parts of the condom will find its will if not all parts and cause inflammation of the appendix.I think the op is right.There is a saying in medical practice that goes like this never say never.Thank God for nairaland,a place we can learn new things.You can air your view.Let us discuss if you are in medical profession.What you see on the diagram is a pictorial stuff.When you see appendix in real life u will know it is bigger than that.
