One thing you forget is that most Nigerians operate on this principle: when a deal or product seems too good to be true, it almost always is! This Tecno is surprisingly good for its price so people would slowly learn to trust the brand as nobody wants to fall 'mugu'. Beyond that Nigerians are among the most brand-conscious people (for good or bad). So dont insult people o. After all, these brands are still very high in quality.
