CindyeMerAld:Friends are made to endure each others mess, you claimed you never mentioned her name but you went as long as putting her hometown name, what if that your friend or someone who also attended the wedding happens to visit this forum and see this thread? Don't you think it will be a stab in the back? worst than whatever treatment you got from the wedding. At times the organizers of events causes all this mess. They said you're a man though, even at that I must say you went to far,This is a betrayal of friendship. |
How far Is Anambra to Imo State?Nawa ooo the way you were saying far distance,I thought you came from Sambisa Forest to Imo. You just came here to belittle your fellow Ibo lady and went as long as mentioning the state, which might lead to Imo vs Anambra trying to fight it out here. I don't think the other tribes will do what u just did no matter how worst they were treated at the wedding, besides what you wrote here never changed anything from what happened at the wedding, next time try to learn how to endure things like this because you're a lady. Imo people are coming for you be ready. |

Motherhood is divine. It's the highest, holiest service to be assumed by the mankind. Being a mother is harder than anyone can tell you but it is also more rewarding than anything else in thew world. The pain a woman suffers at the time of childbirth is unimaginable, it's her greatest courage and immeasurable strength that has made the existence of mankind possible. All the women out there take a bow. You are awesome. All the men out there be grateful to your mothers and wives..buy them a gift maybe.. The moment you take that precious little thing in your hands is priceless. "the life you created". Here is a story of this courageous mother who decides to bring her baby into this world naturally. These photographs speak volumes about the courage and love that a woman is capable of and the immense bliss and tranquility that a birth brought to this amazing mother. Her photographer friend has captured the images wonderfully. Kathy Rosario, you are one hell of a photographer. I salute the both of you..

IN THE early hours of June 16th a pipeline belonging to Nigeria’s state-owned oil company exploded. This was the latest in a string of attacks claimed by the Niger Delta Avengers, a new group taking out pipelines and oil platforms in the southern, oil-pumping part of the country. Since it started wreaking havoc in January production has plummeted to its lowest levels in two decades. Nigeria now churns out about 1.9m barrels of black stuff per day, about a third less than the government budgeted for this year. The militants seem sophisticated—one of their attacks took out a 250,000-b/d Shell export terminal—and they threaten “untold terror” ahead for the oil sector. But who are the Niger Delta Avengers? The Avengers are not the first militant group to rise up in the Niger Delta. Oil was discovered in its swamps in the late 1950s and remains Nigeria's biggest export today. Yet much of the revenue has been squandered, leaving the Delta polluted and poor. At the last count (in 2010) more than half of its people lived on less than a dollar a day. In the early 2000s, young men rose up in a violent campaign for greater control of the region’s resources. Their Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) crippled crude production and drove international oil companies offshore. But they were bought off with an amnesty in 2009 and the attacks started to peter out. Today’s militants probably number just a few hundred men. Among their fast-swelling ranks are many fighters from the former days. They are irritated that the cash-strapped government of Muhammadu Buhari, which came into power last year, has slashed the amnesty budget by two-thirds. Mr Buhari, a northerner, wants to phase out the payments entirely. The Avengers say they must continue; they think his anti-corruption campaign targets allies of his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan, who hails from the Delta. And they want 60% of oil blocks returned to their people. Less is known about their leadership. Political sponsorship has been suggested but remains unproven. An old kingpin known as “Tompolo” has been fingered as their leader. The new government axed his lucrative pipeline-security contract and he is currently dodging arrest. Tompolo and the Avengers deny any link. The militants say they do not want to spill blood. But they are heavily armed and in communication with angsty independence campaigners in the south-eastern region which calls itself Biafra. Smaller groups are popping up all over the Delta. Nigeria is already fighting one war, against Boko Haram jihadists in the north-east. It cannot afford another in the south. At its peak, oil accounted for 75% of government revenue—in the first quarter of this year that figure had fallen to just over 50%. As things stand, the attacks might cost Nigeria 40% of this year’s crude earnings. Local banks, which are exposed to indigenous producers, are clocking up bad debts. Power plants, which rely on gas to fuel their turbines, are turning on fewer lights than normal (which is a feat). The best hope will be a negotiated solution. Yet even that would not solve the fundamental problem: unless Nigeria pulls more of the Delta out of poverty, a new group will soon spring up. |
Just watching In black and white tv. |
US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has been questioned by the FBI over her use of emails while she was secretary of state, her campaign says. A spokesperson said it was a voluntary interview. The FBI is investigating Mrs Clinton and her aides over whether they mishandled classified information on a private email server she used while serving as secretary of state. Mrs Clinton denies handling classified information in her private emails. She said she set up the email address for reasons of convenience, because it was easier to do everything from her Blackberry than to have several phones or tablets. However, a state department inquiry accused her and other former US secretaries of state of poorly managing email security. The justice department is now seeking to establish whether this constitutes a criminal offence. A bit of a gift to Trump: Laura Bicker, BBC, Washington: This has been a drip-drip drip feed for Mrs Clinton's opponents to criticise her. Republicans could say, "Look, hang on a second, are you trustworthy? Because you've been using what have been retrospectively classified documents on your home email server." Secretary of state information could be protected on the work server, so they're saying that she put things at risk. That has given a bit of a gift to Donald Trump who has nicknamed her Crooked Hillary. This interview was voluntary and we expected it to come. Her staff have all given their own testimony and the investigation is coming to a conclusion now, nearly a year after this first emerged. But it's all happening just before the Democratic Party convention. On Friday, the US Attorney General Loretta Lynch said she would accept the findings of the FBI and prosecutors, when deciding whether to charge Mrs Clinton. The day before, it was revealed that Ms Lynch had met the former president, Mrs Clinton's husband Bill, in what she described as a "social" meeting but which she admitted would "cast a shadow" over the way her role in the case would be perceived. Mrs Clinton is the presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party and party members are expected to confirm the nomination at a convention at the end of July. |
Emmanuel Afenyi Abeiku, 22, and a 32-year-old farmer, Isaac Mensah, have been sentenced to two years each in prison for stealing from a church. Abeiku and Mensah were charged on two counts of conspiracy to steal and stealing when they appeared before the Winneba Magistrate Court, presided over by Mr. Alexander Owerae. The facts of the case as presented to the court by Inspector Peter Agbelie were that on June 11, 2016, Abeiku and Mensah entered the New Beginning Revival Church, still under construction, in Winneba. Some of the stolen items have been retrieved by the police. The items yet to be retrieved were valued at GH?1,311. |
