FamilyBuild A Good Home by OnuChuks(op): 7:19am On Jun 28
MY FATHER’S HOME AND THE HOUSES OF THE RICH: LESSONS THAT SHAPED MY LIFE

My father never built a house, but I am happy that he taught me how to build a home. I grew up in a small single room in a crowded compound house in a very poor community in Accra with my parents and my six siblings. At night, we slept like canned sardines, but we woke up in the morning like sharks, ready to face all the challenges life in a poor community like ours presented every day.

My greatest joy was going back to that single room from school or church because my father had succeeded in making our room a home.

He didn’t have a car, but he cared. He didn’t have a television set, but he was fun to watch. He didn’t have money, but he managed us well and taught us good manners. He couldn’t always give us what money could buy, but he gave us what money couldn’t buy: the fear of God.

I will always choose a father who can build a home over a father who has thousands of houses.

The beauty of a house is not in its architectural design, the treasures that fill its rooms, or the fleet of cars in its compound, but in the home that lives inside the house.

From my father’s life, I learned seven lessons every father must remember.

1. A father does not need a mansion to build a home.
2. What children need most is not luxury, but love, care and presence.
3. A father’s character can turn a small room into a place of joy.
4. Poverty is painful, but poor parenting is worse.
5. The best inheritance a father can give is the fear of God.
6. Good manners are greater than material gifts.
7. A true father is not measured by what he owns, but by what he deposits in his children.

FamilyRe: Is Spirituality A Good Reason For Lack Of Romance In Marriage? by OnuChuks(op): 7:27pm On Jun 03
DEAR MAN OF GOD, HAVING GOOD SEX WITH YOUR WIFE FROM TIME TO TIME DOESN'T KILL YOUR ANOINTING FOR IMPACT IN MINISTRY.

SEX WAS ORDAINED IN MARRIAGE FOR PROCREATION AND BONDING OF HEARTS TOGETHER.

IT'S WRONG TO STARVE YOUR PATNER OF SEX BECAUSE YOU THINK YOU ARE SPIRITUAL.

A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE.
FamilyIs Spirituality A Good Reason For Lack Of Romance In Marriage? by OnuChuks(op): 9:53am On Jun 01
IS SPIRITUALITY A GOOD REASON FOR LACK OF ROMANCE IN MARRIAGE?

The honest answer is "no". True spirituality is never a justification for emotional distance, lack of affection, or neglect in marriage.

Sadly, in many Christian homes, especially among ministers, romance has been replaced with routine, prayer with no pursuit, and ministry with no intimacy. Wives are complaining, not because they are carnal, but because they are "emotionally starving".

God designed marriage to be both "spiritual and affectionate".

Scripture openly celebrates romance, desire, and pleasure within marriage. The Song of Solomon is filled with passion and admiration. First Corinthians 7 clearly teaches mutual responsibility in intimacy.

Proverbs encourages husbands to delight in their wives' breasts. If romance were ungodly, God would not have endorsed it so boldly.

Using spirituality as an excuse for lack of romance is a "distortion of holiness". Prayer does not replace affection. Fasting does not cancel intimacy. Ministry does not excuse neglect.

A man can lay hands on the sick and still owe his wife attention, tenderness (TLC), and pursuit. Your calling does not override your covenant.

Many wives are not asking for extravagance; they are asking to be seen, desired, and valued. When a woman feels emotionally disconnected, the marriage becomes vulnerable; resentment grows, communication breaks down, and temptation finds room. Romance is not weakness; it is "high level wisdom in operation".

Believers and pastors must become intentional again. Schedule time with your spouse. Speak loving words. Touch without pressure. Laugh together. Go on dates. Pray together and also enjoy each other. Romance does not make you less spiritual; it makes your marriage healthier and your ministry stronger.

God is not glorified by cold marriages. He is glorified by homes filled with love, joy, and affection. "Holiness and romance are not enemies". In a godly marriage, they work together to reflect Christ’s love: present, passionate, and committed.

Christianity EtcWhy Some Pastor Started Charging People Money For Prayers. by OnuChuks(op): 8:30pm On May 31
HAVE YOU SEEN WHY SOME GENUINE MEN OF GOD HAVE JOINED THEM TO START CHARGING PEOPLE MONEY BEFORE THEY WILL PRAY FOR THEM?...

Someone called me from abroad that he wants me to go to his village and pray there...

I asked him why I must go to the village, he said because some preachers told him that if there must be an end to calamity, a man of God must step his foot on the ground...

And the bill they gave him is too much for him to raise within the time frame...

That he wants to know how much I will charge to know if it will be lesser than the others...

I told him, I will not go to his village, but I will stay right in my office and make a decree...

Because the Word of God said that I will make a decree and it shall be established...

Because wherever the Word of a king is there is power...

I told him that in the next 7 days, that vulture that has been coming to petch on the tree in the new land he just bought will never appear again...

And that from the day I will pray for him, he will never have that dream again where he was always inside coffin, but yet, still alive..

He doubtedly said AMEN...

He asked me how much I will collect, I told him not to worry, let's see God answer the prayer first, then, we will talk about the money...

He called me at the end of the 12th day and testified that he never had that dream again from that day I prayed for him...

And that that vulture was never seen again...

And that things have started coming back to normalcy in his family speedily...

Even the case he had that costs him money weekly in abroad was miraculously struck out in court...

So no more paying that heavy amount weekly...

When he called, he asked me how much I will collect, I told him I don't charge for prayer...

That I wasn't trained like that...

But that we have book projects going on...

We print the book and send to people, to read FREE...

In case he wants to, he can support us, with any amount of money...

That nothing is too big and nothing is too small...

I told him I am not forcing him, that anytime he is ready that he should ask for account number...

He said, that he will get back to me that weekend...

This is close to 3 months now, he has not gotten back to me...

I just remembered it this early morning for the first time and I laughed...

This is exactly why people charge people before they pray for them...

Because people are terribly ungrateful...

However, thank God that I didn't grow up putting my eyes on people's pocket...

My happiness is that God has answered my prayer for his family...

Since he has not asked for my account number, God has been providing and we have still been producing thousand copies of that same book ...

I didn't see anyone's bank account before I entered ministry...

No matter what God did through me for you, you are not owing me...

After that time, I have still prayed for more people that were ready to pay, without taking anything from them...

Those with me are witnesses to this...

People come to the office with their hundreds of thousands, we pray for them and tell them to go with their money ...

Especially, when they come thinking they are going to pay for the prayer the way they have been paying for prayers every where...

It's not easy to reject a very fat envelop especially when you have pressing needs at that time...

But to the glory of God, we are growing...

Even mammon knows that we are not mates...

Sister, can I ask you?...

Why will someone wake up in the middle of the night and keep praying for you and when God answers the prayer, you will stop calling the person?...

The same problem you were ready to give someone else 500k to pray for you ..

God used another man to do it without taking one naira from you, and yet, you could not even
Send recharge card for him...

That's wickedness...

And you are the reason why many genuine men of God are now charging people to pay before they pray...

Man of God, don't let ungrateful members change you...

Those are tempting times...

Satan is watching and God is watching you at that time, to see what you will do next time...

If you start charging people money because of what others did, God will not be happy with you...

There is a lot of spiritual value God will reduce from your ministry...

Leave them to go with their money...

God is going to be bringing people to fix your ministry bills that you have not even prayed for...

" ..if we fail in the time of adversity, our faith is small... "

"Who can separate us from the love of God?... "

Even ungrateful members can not...

They no reach...

My own is.

Let God be answering my prayers for them and let them be going to other churches to bless other pastors... .

God is taking note..

All the midnight prayers we have had praying for people are already standing as monuments before God...

One day, heaven will open over our ministries...

That is when the riches of the gentiles will begin to be converted unto us...

And the heathen left about us shall come to facebook and start saying that the Lord their God has done great things for them...

I am also encouraging myself, bro...

Please, let us pray...

Christianity EtcWhy Are Churches Taking Over Warehouse? by OnuChuks(op): 1:52pm On Oct 27, 2025
The economics of a redeemed warehouse(Part 1)

What a cognitive dissonance it is when people say things like, “Churches are taking over warehouses,” or scoff, “Why are they building churches instead of factories?” Such statements reveal not intelligence but ignorance of how economies actually function. In truth, every time a church takes over an abandoned warehouse, a quiet miracle of social and economic regeneration takes place. What many critics fail to see is that the church is not a destroyer of enterprise but one of the most consistent stimulators of economic activity in our society.

1. The Reality of an Abandoned Warehouse

An abandoned warehouse is a picture of economic death. Nothing is happening. No goods are being stored, no trucks are moving, no staff are employed, and no taxes are paid. The owner earns nothing, the agents get nothing, and the surrounding community gradually declines.

Why are warehouses abandoned? Many reasons. Market shifts, relocation of factories, obsolete facilities, lack of infrastructure, insecurity, poor management, or changes in urban planning. Sometimes it is simply because industrial clusters moved elsewhere, leaving behind empty shells of former productivity. Whatever the cause, such spaces become urban ghosts, silent monuments of lost opportunity.

2. When a Church Steps In

When a church identifies such a property and decides to acquire it, the story changes immediately. The transaction itself becomes the first spark of economic reawakening.

The owner gets paid. The estate agent earns a commission. Lawyers are engaged and paid for documentation. Government receives stamp duties and registration fees. Banks record financial transactions. The property that once stood silent begins to contribute again to the flow of commerce.

3. The Economic Ripples of Renovation

That is only the beginning. A warehouse is not a church building. It needs redesigning and remodelling to serve a new purpose. That single decision triggers a chain of activity that can engage hundreds of people for months.

Architects draw new plans. Engineers, surveyors, and project managers come on board. Builders, masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, welders, painters, and decorators find employment. Interior designers, sound and lighting technicians, and stage builders begin their work.

Add to this list air conditioning experts, security installers, rug and flooring specialists, aluminium fabricators, scaffolders, signage designers, and cleaners. Transporters move materials daily. Vendors supply cement, paint, tiles, cables, furniture, and sound equipment. Caterers feed the workers. The local economy around the site comes alive.

In pure economic terms, capital has been activated and money begins to circulate. One church project can sustain an entire local economy for months.

4. The Church as a Continuing Economic Hub

When the renovation is complete and the church moves in, the economic cycle continues in a more stable form.

There are now administrative staff, accountants, cleaners, security personnel, technicians, and maintenance workers. There are service providers for electricity, water, diesel, and air conditioning. Local businesses supply flowers, stationery, catering, furniture, and fuel. Government agencies collect fees for signage, waste management, and environmental permits.

Every week, movement increases. Transport operators carry worshippers. Food vendors sell more. Photographers work. Fashion designers make uniforms. Shops and restaurants open earlier. Property values rise around the area.

5. The Hidden Factory

To run one Sunday service is equal in complexity to running a mid-sized factory. There is coordination, logistics, human resource management, financial planning, power generation, and facility maintenance.

Music departments rehearse. Media teams produce broadcasts. Ushers, security, and protocol teams manage large crowds. Teachers, children’s workers, and technical crews operate efficiently. Each of these units represents employment, creativity, and productivity.

Every service day, money moves. Fuel is bought, generators are serviced, sound systems are maintained, and materials are supplied. The church keeps a small industry running every week.

6. Beyond Money: Hope as Capital

The church does not only employ hands; it builds lives. Many young people who once wandered aimlessly find purpose, skill, and community within the church. Singers become professional musicians. Media volunteers grow into editors and producers. Ushers develop leadership and organisational skills. Administrators learn management and accounting.

This is more than economic capital. It is human capital, social capital, and moral capital. It produces disciplined, visionary, and responsible citizens who can contribute meaningfully to society.

7. The Bigger Picture

So when people sneer, “They should have built a factory instead,” they miss the truth. The church is a factory of a different kind. It produces character, vision, hope, and values. It manufactures transformation, rebuilds communities, and revives cities. It generates both tangible and intangible capital that sustains economies in the long run.

A warehouse left idle is a monument to failure. A warehouse transformed into a church is a monument to renewal. What commerce abandoned, faith revives. What the market forgot, the church restores.

8. Conclusion

The next time someone says, “Another warehouse has become a church,” remind them that what they call a takeover is actually a turnaround. The church revives dead spaces, restores dignity to abandoned properties, and injects life into the local economy.

Indeed, the church is one of the largest employers of labour in our generation, a major contributor to national productivity, and a reliable driver of socio-economic renewal. Every church service is an enterprise of faith, coordination, and economic engagement.

The factory may produce material goods, but the church produces transformed people. And transformed people are the most valuable assets of any nation.

Christianity Etc21 Ways Nairalanders Can Make Work Easy For Their Pastor by OnuChuks(op): 7:01pm On Aug 25, 2025
21 EASY WAYS MEMBERS CAN MAKE MINISTRY EASY FOR THEIR PASTORS:

Romans 16:3 (KJV)
Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:

You can be that member, who your pastor can call my helper in Christ.

There are members in Christ, there are also members that are the helpers in Christ, sent to a Pastor.

Ministry is a very difficult task. That can become more difficult or very easy, based on the kind of members a shepherd has.

There are Pastors today, that the high blood pressure they are suffering from is not hereditary but ministry induced. It was not there from the beginning, ministry made it so.

Ministry is a difficult journey, if you cannot make it easy for your pastor don't make it difficult for him.

It is a very lonely journey. If you can't stand with your pastor, it is better not to occupy a space that is wasting. Sometimes only God and a Pastor can tell those standing with them.

There are twenty one easy ways you can make ministry easy for your pastor. If you love your Pastor, it will be very easy to do these things. Most especially pastors that are there for you.

NOW THE 21 WAYS TO MAKE MINISTRY EASY FOR YOUR PASTOR:

1. You make ministry easy for your pastor by being available for church service. Your attendance is very important to your pastor.
No pastor is Anointed enough to preach to empty pews.

2. You make ministry easy for your pastor by believing in his mandate. Some of us live all our lives doubting the very mandate of our pastor. When you believe in his mandate, it will show.

3. You make ministry easy for your pastor by bringing other sheeps to church. Shepherds are to spiritually raise the sheep that are brought in by other sheep's.

4. You make ministry easy for your pastor by praying for him and praying for the ministry. Some of us live all our lives not praying for our pastors. Some have never taken time to pray for the ministry. The ambulance that is to save you, also needs to be well serviced for optimum performance.

5. You make ministry easy for your pastor by your consistent kingdom financial obligations. Don't assume there is money in church, every other person may not be committed just the same way you are not committed . Be committed financially, you may just be the saving grace for that mandate.

6. You make ministry easy for your pastor by overlooking his sincere errors and mistakes. It is not always a sinful error. It could be a mistake. But to keep emphasizing it, is to make ministry difficult for him.

7. You make ministry easy for your pastor by using all your available social media platforms to tell the world about your church programs. Let your Whatsapp status shows where you belong. All your celebrity pastors will not be there for you physically. It is this pastor you are not proud of that will be there physically.

8. You make ministry easy for your pastor by spreading the wonderful acts of God happening in your church. Always spread the testimonies happening in that church. Your church is blessed with testimonies, the challenge is that no one is publishing it.

9. You make ministry easy for your pastor by not allowing your problem with anyone in church to take you out of the church. Pastors are always the once suffering for every wrong doing from a member to another member. Even when the pastor is not involved. They will also find a way to bring him into the matter.

10. You can make ministry easy for your pastor by not standing with anyone that is working against him. As you go through ministry from time to time, some people will be against your pastor, never stand with them.

11. You make ministry easy for your pastor by accepting the ministry style of the pastors wife. Some churches remain at the level of members reacting to the way and manner the pastor's wife behaves. No two churches have the same pastors wives. There is no time a right thinking pastor will turn against his wife to please you. If he goes that way, even you won't like the results you will later discover.

12. You make ministry easy for your pastor by standing with him, when he makes hard decisions that affects people's feelings. Some decisions are very hard but needed to save a system. It is hard to cut a pregnant woman open, the scars will be there for life, but it is necessary to save the life of the baby.

13. You make ministry easy for your pastor by supporting a particular aspect of the work under his care. You can take over a particular aspect of the ministry as your own assignment with him. Like fueling, Musical instruments, the children church, organizing of special programs. Etc.

14. You make ministry easy for your pastor by using your skill to serve for free. Imagine if every person with a special skill is to be paid? Some people will use their skill to serve for free. Even if you are paid, always go beyond payment.

15. You make ministry easy for your pastor by not spreading gossip in the church, or by killing it, when it gets to you. I was told something three weeks ago, the response I gave killed the matter on the spot. That is how to support whoever you love and believe in.

16. You make ministry easy for your pastor by not comparing him with other pastors. No two pastors are the same. Be satisfied with the version that God gave you. You demoralize your pastors spirit if he finds out that you believe anyone more than him. It is possible to believe others more than your pastor, but don't behave it.

17. You make ministry easy for your pastor by accepting corrections without reactions. There are members who can't stand being corrected. The day you correct them, is the beginning of their complete withdrawal from you and the church. Of what use is a member that cannot be corrected.

18. You make ministry easy for your pastor by serving faithfully in a department. Can your pastor count on you in that department? Sometimes, it is just a few persons that are keeping a department alive in church. Be among those few person.

19. You make ministry easy for your pastor by being sendable. Your pastor cant be everywhere at the same time. Can you be sent as occasion permits?

20. You make ministry easy for your pastor by following, even when there is a problem in your life that God has not solved. Only few members can remain in a church when they are still believing God for what even brought them to the church in the first place. Many have left their duty post in search of miracles. Please return back.

21. You make ministry easy for your pastor by giving him your hundred percent loyalty. Most things that will help that church can only be communicated with loyal sons and daughters. Imagine your pastor sent you to go and worship in a church and tell him what you love about the church, so that it can be implemented without anyone hearing. Most of us will fail this simple test. When it comes to your pastor, don't sell him to anyone no matter your closeness with that person. It is yourself that you know.

The good thing is that God will not suffer his holy one to see corruption. Whether you make life easy for your pastor or not, God will never leave him at the mercy of anyone. It is a privilege for peter to use his boat for kingdom work, if he chooses not to use it, Jesus will never be stranded.

Be blessed.

THE GOSPEL OF ANXIOUS MEN

There was a time when the people of God took no thought for their lives,
For they knew that the One who called them was the Keeper of their days.

But now…
There is a new wisdom in the sanctuary.
It is not the wisdom from above
It is the logic of self-preservation.

They stand in pulpits and whisper softly, “Be wise… be careful… secure yourself first.”
But Heaven hears the hiss of another garden serpent
The same voice that once said, “Has God really said?

And the people nod, forgetting the words of the King:
“Take no thought for your life… your Father knows.”

This is not harmless advice.
It is the slow mutilation of faith.
It is the turning of shepherds into survival coaches.
It is the recasting of fear as maturity
And unbelief as prudence.

Jude spoke of them long ago
Men marked for judgment long before you knew their names.
They crept in unannounced,
Not to strip away your Bible,
But to rewrite it in your mind.

You will not hear them deny the Lord outright.
No they deny Him by teaching you to trust your own hands first.
They call fear “wisdom,”
And they label doubt “responsibility.”

They will not curse Christ no, they wear His name.
They will not deny the Kingdom they will just redefine it.
And in their redefinition, the cross becomes optional,
The narrow way becomes negotiable,
And “following the Spirit” becomes “following common sense.”

Do you not see?
This is another gospel.
One that keeps the language of the Kingdom
But replaces its posture.
One where Christ reigns in our prayers,
But self-reliance rules our decisions.

Hear me:
When a man teaches you to depend on your own wisdom before you lean on God,
He has already taught you idolatry
And you have learned it with a smile.

The tragedy is not that wolves roam the flock,
But that shepherds are teaching sheep to graze without listening for the voice.

This is the gospel that keeps you safe,
But makes you useless in the hands of Heaven.
It will not make martyrs.
It will not make intercessors.
It will not make soldiers.
It will only make Babes
Well-dressed, well-advised.

Beloved, if you must prepare, prepare to obey.
If you must plan, plan to follow when the map runs out.
For the man who leans on his own foresight
Has already forgotten the God who sees tomorrow.

Faith is not ignorance it is surrender.
It is the laying down of your own calculations
In the confidence that His wisdom is perfect.

For the moment you begin to “think like the world,”
You will soon live like the world.
And a Church that survives by worldly logic
Will Deny The Power of The LORD.

Before we raise a generation that prays to Christ
But trusts entirely in themselves,
Let us cry aloud:
Return to the Shepherd.
Return to the faith that steps when the waters have not yet parted.

I know you must have had the news about my Pastor's Daughter, here is the update.

She Gave her life to Christ, but collected it back from him secretly, But we, the members of the church did not know that she has collected her Life from Jesus.

So last week it became public knowledge that she collected her Life back from Christ. A lot you were willing to Stone her but Jesus saved her and said, "he that has no sin should cast the first stone, ... I don't condemn you, Go and Sin no more",
Then we began working on her Giving it back to Christ fully.

Now She has given her life to Christ, and will be restored fully, like the woman caught in Adultery, John 8 1-11, in no distance time.

You who is still living in Secret Sin, Hope you know what happened to my Pastor Daughter will not likely happen to you, please Stop the sin before you pay the ultimate price (Eternity in Hell) for it.

Christianity EtcWhat Has The Church In Nigeria Done by OnuChuks(op): 7:58am On May 04, 2025
Wetin Naija Churches Dey Do?
Praise Fowowe

I just finished lecturing the first class of the family life ministry program for ministers in North America. I had to stay awake here in Nigeria to take that class. One discussion point is how well we have influenced the world. As i left the class i sat back to reflect and decided to write about the impact of the charismatic movement in Nigeria.

In a time where it has become fashionable to drag the Church…
Where cynicism is now mistaken for intelligence,
And many have built entire brands around pointing fingers at pulpits,
Permit me today to ask a question with deep reverence in my heart:

Wetin Naija churches dey do?

Because if you look beyond the noise,
If you silence the sarcasm and let your spirit observe,
You will see something breathtaking.

I was at The Platform Africa organized by Pastor Poju Oyemade and hosted with such elegance by Covenant Nation
And there I sat, humbled…
Watching two of the youngest founders on the lineup,
Lighting up the stage with wisdom far beyond their years.
Guess what?
They were both products of Covenant University
A vision birthed by Bishop David Oyedepo.

In a world that questions what churches are doing,
I saw what the church has done.
Not just in words, but in evidence.
These weren’t preachers. They were builders.
And yet, they were fruits of the altar.

The Church is Building Quietly…
While many are tweeting and tearing down,
The Church is training leaders, healing bodies, building systems,
Feeding nations, and raising kingdoms often without fanfare.

Let's examine what a few more are doing...

Covenant Nation – Enlightening the Mind
Through The Platform Africa, they are raising civic consciousness, driving advocacy, nation building, policy reform
Not in the spirit alone, but in the boardrooms of power. They are building a critical team of intelligent christian who are mastering the priestly and kingly dimension of things

Daystar Christian Centre – Raising Leaders
Led by Pastor Sam Adeyemi, they’ve built a leadership factory.
Quietly, powerfully, they are equipping ordinary people to lead extraordinary lives.
In business, in governance, in families—Daystar alumni are everywhere. I am sure you know I am a member of Daystar

Elevation Church – Healing Bodies through Ubomi
Pastor Godman Akinlabi is not just preaching grace
He’s deploying grace in the form of surgeries, health outreaches,
And radical medical intervention for those who can’t afford it.
Ubomi is saving lives—literally.

RCCG – Building a Medical Village
The Redeemed Christian Church of God is not just praying for the sick. They’ve built entire villages of healing,
Where medical care meets ministry, and hope walks the hallways like a doctor.

And There Are Many More…
From prison outreaches to orphan care,
From schools in remote villages to rehabilitation centers for drug addicts,
From teenage pregnancy interventions to trauma healing systems
The Nigerian Church is doing far more than you think.

You must have noticed i intentionally skipped the orthodox churches because they educated majority of us and without them many of us may not have survived the healthcare systems. I will speak about them later.

But we have become so used to miracles,
That we miss the movement.
We are so addicted to drama,
That we overlook the quiet hands building nations behind the veil.

🙏🏾 Let Me Say This Clearly:
The Nigerian Church is not perfect—but she is powerful.
She may be bruised, but she is beautiful.
She may be misunderstood, but she is moving mountains.

So today, I pause to say:
Well done.
To every pastor, usher, intercessor, media crew, church cleaner, children’s minister, health worker, architect, administrator…
To the churches you’ll never see on TV,
To the missionaries who gave their youth to unreached places—
Thank you. We see you. Heaven sees you.

We Will Tell Our Children…
That in the middle of confusion and criticism,
There were altars that stood.
There were churches that built.
There were shepherds who loved.
There were temples where healing flowed.
And in that sacred space, Nigeria found hope again.

So the next time someone asks:

“Wetin Naija churches dey do?”
Smile gently…
And say:

“They’re raising kings. They’re healing nations. They’re changing the story.”

With all my love,

Praise Fowowe

Christianity EtcWhy Are You Going To Church Today? Why are you not Going? by OnuChuks(op): 7:17am On May 04, 2025

Sometimes last Year I gave out a survey trying to find out the reason we go church, i.e attend weekly Christian Activities,
I got answers like
1. Iron Sharpeneth Iron, Learning from one another.
2. Enjoying the Presence of God.
3. Having a strong believers community that will be of help to me.
4. Recieving From the Anointed Man of God.
5. Etc

This Reason and more I got are Good, very Good, but they are not the main Reason why we Do weekly Church Activities.

I Concluded that when we Don't Understand the main reason for Going to Church, our Expectations and Experience will be incomplete and there is a 99% Chance of believers remaining immature despite being in Church for many years (Very Painfully We see this Today cry )

So God Helping us, we Discovered that, the scripture recorded the main Reason for Weekly church Activities in Eph 4:11-14.

The main reason is to Mature Believer to the point of
1. uniting Correctly with Other Believers.
2. Personal Knowledge Jesus.

I'll rather settle for an old flagship or midrange than buy these newer phones...

It's saddening to waste over 300k on a phone and get no significant upgrade over the previous
Same thought here, this new phones are slower because of the minimum requirement for android 15 is much higher than the one of Android 10
