1. The coup of 1996 led Nzeogwu was a military coup carried out soldiers! That Nzeogwu happened to be Igbo is a only coincidental. That is the point!
The only reason Buhari's coup of 1983 was not measured with the ethnic tape was because Shagari was also Hausa!

Any coup carried out today against Jonathan led by any officer that is not from Ijaw will be termed ethnic. That is Nigeria for you.1. The coup of 1996 led Nzeogwu was a military coup carried out soldiers! That Nzeogwu happened to be Igbo is a only coincidental. That is the point!

2. A child who scored 1% needed to repeat the class. Anything other than that is evil.
Bros, the southern kids are not more intelligent than the northern kids.

Here lies the difference:
We force our children to school.
We pay their school fees even if t means going hungry.
We contribute to build our schools, whether private or public.

I just offered financial rewards for best students in Maths, Agriculture and Igbo Language in one of the secondary schools in my town. We do it with joy sir.

Our communities offer scholarships to our children. We want everybody to be educated!
What do they to up north?

The female children have their faces covered and they are locked up in their homes.
The male children are sent to Mallams as Almajeri's!

While our children are learning science and arts, their children are chanting Arabic and Koranic stuffs!

While or children are aspiring to be doctors, Engineers,Lawyers, etc, their children are aspiring to be Jihardsists.
s
While our governors are building schools and stuffing them with computers, heir governors are building mosques stuffing them with primitive oriented materials that will distort logic!
Meanwhile, the children of these Northern leaders are studying in London! the tyrant called Buhari is a living example.
We are miles apart!

I am not against quota system sir, but when yo offer admission to someone who scored 1% and denied it t the one who scored 69%, you are merely destroying the nation. Pass mark is 40%! I don't want to argue on this any more.

3. Nzeogwu, the Igbo man of 1966, was from the Present day South South!
His people are our kith and kin!
They belong to Biafra.

You cannot attribute 1996 to Igbos, and then insist Nzeogwu's people are not Igbo today.

I wish you well sir.

my brother you went too far by expossing what makes ibo man the superior to other nigeria
pls stop expossing us to our enemies, they are copying and studying us they are not sleeping thats why you see many post of anti ibo on nairaland always, for us to be expoossing ourselves and our greatness and weakness and once they understood what makes us a great race they will use it against us for totaly destruction and annihilation of ibo race
my candeed advice for you and other ibos lets be wise and stop leting emotions over rule us ..........peace shocked cool

1. When Nzoegwu sent Nigeria into the continuous military dictatorship we suffered - he was not from the south-south, he was not acting as niger-deltan and neither was he acting as an ibo man! He was asking as a Nigerian! A Nigerian Soldier who thought he could fix Nigeria through criminality. All coup plotters are criminals.

However sir, it is pure mischief to magnified his (Nzeogwu) Igbo-ness above his Nigerian-ness!

On the other hand, I brought up the issue of his origin because many a Nigerian would insist Biafra starts and ends with 5 core Igbo states!
We have our kinsmen in the South South!

2. My vexation is not with "quota system"! My vexation is that you promote a candidate that failed and demote the one that passed!
Since it is practiced all over the whole world, please gimme names of the countries where candidates who score 1% are offered admission just because of where they come from! From what I know, 40% is the pass mark, the world over! A child who scored 1% is incompetent and cannot cope! Yet the child is promoted and will get a certificate at the end of the day! Shame.

Emm bros, are you talking about quota system? Where is that in the locations of military institutions in Nigeria?

"What is good for the geese, is also good for the gizzard" Chief Zebrudaya

3. My anger is against the slave camp you call a country! Nigeria was created by slave masters and they forced us to become her citizens.
I am angry at Mr. Luggard the criminal who imagined Nigeria and enforced it.

As for Biafra, do not cry more than the bereaved. I am nor promising you Biafra would be heaven on earth, but I can assure you this:
If a child is caught cheating in an exam with a copy of the Koran, the Koran will be seized and the child punished! That teacher will not be killed, let alone by the students. Such things happen in Nigeria.

In Biafra, we wont have Almajeri's who end up becoming foot soldiers of Jihardists like you have in Nigeria!
Every individual must be creative and productive.

If Biafra would be "crabs in the bucket", I dont see how it is your headache, also, it cant be worse than this jungle. Enough!

4. I am not arguing with you on who is South South brother or Sister, it is not actually by business.

Cheers.

Politics / Re: Obasanjo Begs God To Give Nigeria Something New Next Year by onyeokwu: 5:26pm On Dec 24, 2014
iluvnaija:
Obasanjo begs God to give Nigeria something new next year
Abiodun Onafuye/Abeokuta

Former leader of Nigeria,Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has prayed for divine intervention in the affairs of the country in 2015, asking that God should do something new in the country.

He said that the situation in the country requires urgent divine intervention,as he prayed through songs to the Most Being to come to the country’s intervention.

Obasanjo made the call Monday night during the 2014 Ogun State Christmas Carol and Service of Nine Lessons held at the June 12 Cultural Centre,Kuto,Abeokuta.

When he was invited to address the mammoth crowd at the programme venue, he disappointed them all as he turned into a praise worship singer.

“I and the governor have agreed that all what Baba Adeboye said here tonight is what all of have said.
There is no more word. But you will assist me to sing this song, Nigeria needs something new this time around.

“The song goes thus, ‘Do something new in my life and do something new in this country’,” Obasanjo declared.

The whole hall went into jubilation as shout of “Sai Buhari” rent the air as Baba continued in his song which changed the tune of the programme.

Delivering the Christmas Message, The General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye said only God can engineer a way out of the present predicament the country is facing now.

The Man of God, who took his sermon from the Book of John, Chapter 14 verses 6, advised Nigerians to seek for God’s way as that is the only solution to our problems, either personally or collectively.

“Jesus is the way, the life and the truth,no one gets to my father, except through me. But let me take one of the three names,Way,Life and Truth, the one I’m taking tonight is the way. As we are now, we all have to go back to the Lord in terms of needy or lacks and He will show us the way. He is the Prince of Peace, all things shall be done in the name of Jesus.

“Anyone going through any storm today, I decreed that it will be still. The present situation we found ourselves as individual and as a nation, only God is the solution. Jesus is the way out, He is the way in, way forward and the way upward, and not that alone,He is the way where there is no way, the way out of trouble and the way into the joy.

“I want to admonish us all to hold God firmly as He is the only way who can heal any ailments in us. Jesus is a great promoter, He is the only one that can promote you and stand by you, promotion from any human being cannot be seen as everlasting one,as the way to lift you, they will be looking for another way or a mistake from your end to run you down completely.

“Lift your eyes and hands onto God as He alone can lift and promote you without any hinderances, human promotion cannot go beyond the limit of the tallest of the person. As a nation, only God can promote us from sorrow to joy, from difficulty to happiness, from little to plenty and from fear to peace,” Adeboye said.

The event which lasted for over five hours has in attendance all the big spiritual leaders in the country who prayed for the State, the nation and especially, called on God to take control of next year’s general elections in the country for peace and tranquility to reign.

The prayer was led by Prophet Dr. S.K.Abiara, the General Evangelist, Christ Apostolic Church worldwide while the closing prayer and Benediction was done by the General Superintendent, Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi.

The Service of Nine Lessons was read by nine selected personalities with the wife of the State governor,Mrs Olufunsho Amosun reading the first lesson which was taken from the book of Genesis 1:2 vrs 30-31.

The founder of the Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare read the second lesson from Isaiah 11 verses 1-11 while the third lesson was taken by Prophet Dr. Solomon Adegboyega Alao, the Supreme Head,Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria.

Ogun State Head of Service, Mrs Modupe Adekunle took the fourth lesson from the Book of Isaiah, Chapter 9 vrs 2-7 and Most Revd. Dr. E.A. Ademowo OON, Dean Emeritus, Church of Nigeria ( Anglican Communion) and Diocesan Bishop of Lagos read the fifth lesson.

The sixth lesson was taken by the Chief Judge of Ogun State, Justice Olatokunbo O.Olopade CON, who took it from Mathew 1 verses 18-25.

Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Suraj Ishola Adekunbi read the seventh lesson which was taken from Luke 2 verses 1-11 and the President of the Nigeria Baptist Convention, who is also the National Vice Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria,CAN, Revd. (Dr.) Supo Ayokunle, read lesson eight.
From the Book of John 1: verses 1-14.

The ninth and the last lesson was read by Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

Other clergy men at the event include Most Revd. Ositelu and Most Revd. Odetoyinbo of the Catholic church.

The event was attended by traditional rulers led by State Chairman, Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Michael Adeniyi Sonariwo. Others were Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland,Oba (Dr.) Aremu Adedotun Gbadebo, the Olu and Paramount ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle.

Also at the occasion were Kehinde Odeneye, the member representing Ijebu Central at the Federal House of Representatives, politicians, market men and women, various social, religious, cultural and political groups from across the State, students groups and artisans.

Am old here with a new handle eventhough i don't comment.

Chai!! @OP I never knew that two people could think so alike, so i observed some of your recent posts and noticed we differ on some views. Good to know that i don't have a lost twin out there.

chai!!! This is spot on. Anambra guys too make mouth. The most revealing was when you said if eze ndi igbo gburugburu was from imo state, ndi anambra will sabotage that war, i couldn't doubt that within me. E be like revelation when i think am the oda day before i saw your post.

I love all nigeria and also my igbo tribe but with the way the east is going, I notice that anambras(some - more than half) are judas.
You make enuff points mehn. Let me highlight a point of your's that i really agree with:
* Anambra lost their side of the war in days, maybe weeks, but imo hold ground for more than two years (combined effort tho from all current states and remember not well prepared war); regardless, imo fought very hard. Mind you am from abia born in lagos.

If anambra don't calm down, humble themselves anyhow, the breaking up of nigeria won't be good for them. Enugu go push them enter sea. Talkless of imo and you know, abia and imo na the same and we pledge allegiance with Enugu. Anambra need to fall in line and pledgeikwa allegiance to success for all because the way things dey go, ogbonigwe fit meet them (modern style in my anambala voice).

One nigeria tho. An Igbo on d fence. iF YOU NO BELONG O. Na you know o.

now i see the hate and jealousy in you lazy foools on anambra people
please Chino come and cage this people and out them in the right place

let the war begin
do you think igboland will stand the might of people from that enclave when it comes to war?

hate to do this but i cant stand i see all these hates you guys are exuding on aanambra people more expecially you guys from imo area it seems chino really humiliated you guys nd damage your psychic
now begin to cry because i have touched your emotion make sure you cry blood

you and poster that you are praising have inferiority complex and you are an inferior igboman because you dont reason like an igbo man

Nobody loathes Anambra. I love Anambra, i'm from a part of Imo that's close enough to the state that I personally have a lot of ties to that state linguistically and culturally. All Igbos support Anambra at all junctions. The rest of us simply feel that If Ojukwu had been from Imo state, Anambra would have been the first to sabotage to the Biafran war effort.

Anambrans have an attitude that caused us to lose the war to begin with and that's an unreasonable and consistent sense of superiority with nothing to show for it.

I was told that Igbos originated from Anambra, but araechologist have discovered that the origin of Igbo culture is around Orlu which makes sense because it's the dead center of Igbo land.

Anambrans consistently try to say they're the top Igbo state economically so I pulled the figures to see if it was true and it wasn't. I can't go to Awka, or Onitsha and think the people there are living the same life as the people in Enugu, Aba, Owerri, Asaba, Portharcourt etc, but if you ask Anambrans they're the real igbos and so forth.

you bi big fool and a plural idiot
during biafra war was there anything called imo state in igboland or called anambra state?
did ojukwu ever told you during the war or after the war that he is from place called anambra?
who even created the states ?
the hausa you despise and loath so much, the same artificial boundary the almajiris drawn to partition igboland and divide you is same yardstick you are using to justify who is who and who is from where in igboland
i tire for you guys
we igbos are the most stupid and brainless people in southern nigeria
now i understand the reason the rivers denied been igbos and if same is presented to you guys from that area you guys would have done the same
go and cure yourself from inferiority complex anu mpam
