A foremost and leading supply chain logistics Company is looking to urgently fill the role of a Legal Coordinator.

PURPOSE OF JOB
1. Under general direction of the Head, Legal; provide legal support to the company and perform certain corporate duties
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist the Head, Legal in the resolution of all compliance and governance issues.
2. Assist the Head, Legal in the negotiation and drafting of agreements with the aim of safeguarding the company's interests.
3. Liaise with and assist external counsel in the discharge of their obligations to the company.
4. Research and prepare legal opinions on various civil matters including claims for compensation against the company
5. Draft legal letters, contracts and agreements, with the aim of safeguarding the company's interests and ensure compliance with the law.
6. Maintain a database of the status of all court matters involving the company.
7. File annual returns within statutory timeframe.
Assist in the formulation, implementation and/or amendment of the company’s legal framework
EDUCATION
Minimum requirement: LLB and BL

EXPERIENCE
Minimum requirement: 5-7 years cognate experience

Functional Skills
 Knowledge of the Nigerian oil and gas industry
 Knowledge of logistics industry and value chain
 Knowledge of Nigerian corporate commercial law

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR

Purpose of Position
To plan and coordinate all Information Systems activities; provide all information technology support, administration and maintenance for the company; providing & developing Information Technology solutions that best suits the business needs of the company at all locations.

Responsibilities
1. Oversee installation of all new software and updates for all IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers etc.
2. Provide hands-on support / training whenever required to deal with technical queries on operating systems, hardware and software packages
3. Planning, coordinating and monitoring the progress of development projects to ensure their ongoing alignment with business goals
4. Evaluate trends and new technologies on network and telecommunications, wireless technology, voice and data communications.
5. Providing leadership and managing career development of direct reports
6. Overseeing the development, implementation and management/maintenance of the company’s information technology and security policies, procedures and guidelines
7. Participate in the purchase of hardware & software in line with company’s IT standards, specifications and procurement procedures
8. Oversee service management of vendors, outsourced operations and other third party relationships.
9. Oversee support for all department with respect to Help Desk, Technical Support, Information Systems, NAVISON and multi-media presentations
10. Oversee the configuration and maintenance of network devices and document same
11. Identify opportunities and recommend solutions that will enhance or improve current business processes
12. Support and ensure continuous operating viability of LAN (Local Area Network) for all hours of operation and resolve any abnormalities to ensure optimum performance
13. Ensure software, hardware and network installs, re-installs, upgrades, changes and relocations are successfully made when necessary and as required.
14. As the company’s IT Infrastructure architect, analyse and design network models to best fit the company, including company’s website
15. Develop and review IT reports such as Laptop policy, Internet-access policy, Business Continuity Plan report and prepare all documentations.
16. Design and implement Information security models (data encryption etc) for WLAN, Intranet, Domain etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) required
1. Knowledge of Project Management concepts and practices, SharePoint, experience and ability to translate customer needs into IT system requirements
2. Knowledge of IT concepts and operating principles of data communications, networking protocols, hardware and software, including infrastructure design, implementation and maintenance
3. High level PC/Server troubleshooting, Business Intelligence Application Development. Some experience in multiple platform environments with more than one operating system
4. Demonstrated ability and initiative to keep abreast of current and emerging information technology trends, learn and disseminate new operating systems or application software
5. Excellent written and presentation skills, including the ability to make technology understandable to end-users.
6. Ability to act with customer orientation and be attentive and responsive to customer concerns.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team providing timely, high quality customer-focused services to the Company, work in a professional manner with access to confidential data.

Academic qualifications and experience required
• University degree in Computer Science, Data communications or related discipline
• Additional Qualifications MCSE, CCNP, Microsoft Dynamics Nav. Financials
• Proven minimum of 6 years work experience in IT Installing, administering, and maintaining Microsoft SQL server systems an advantage. High level competence in development and implementing computerized solutions
