As we all know, the high aspiration for the biggest hard drive is constantly escalating as the days go by. In the year 2016 Seagate announced a 10TB hard drive to the general public, and now the well known company Seagate is back again with a great announcement that an even large 16 Terabyte (16TB) hard drive is in the pipeline for release next year which is the year 2018.

However, we have seen similar and even dramatically bigger SSDs (Seagate has a 60TB solid state drive), the 16 Terabyte (16TB) hard drive would be in fact the single largest magnetic disk drive ever produced if it actually makes it to market next year. More also, Seagate is noting that the 16 Terabyte (16TB) behemoth would still be a regular size of 3.5-inch drive, meaning that one will likely be able to use it freely in a regular desktop as the case may be. Once more, a new male fertility check device known as Yo is here again. The Yo device could make testing of semen in male less less stressful. the Yo device simply turns a user’s smartphone camera into a microscope that will be able and capable to zoom in clearly on a male user semen sample and visually determine how many sperm cells exist and are moving actually moving in the semen sample, (i.e the motile sperm concentration). So the higher the concentration of moving sperm cells in the semen sample, the better chances a male has of fertilizing an egg in the female. However, this is not the first time in history that we are seeing a company turning a normal smartphone camera into a microscope, but indeed this is one of the first time in history that we are seeing it been applied for male fertility as a whole.

Once the semen sample is obtain, it then requires the user to drop some of the semen sample on a slide that then slips right into the connected camera device of the Yo. CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION

1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Times are fast changing; we now live in a jet age which is mainly characterized by rapid changes in technology, lifestyle and value. This is indeed an age of information explosion. One of the major inventions that have driven the world to a fast pace of technological advancement is the computer. The computer is primarily an electronic information processor that is rapidly changing the way we acquire, organize, recall, access, analyze, synthesize and apply information. The effectiveness with which the information is generated and communicated determines the rate of progress of a society and the fulfillment of its people. Modern society is information driven and information today is a universal need.
Moreover, computers have affected the ways which people use information. It has changed the rate of work done, the method for accomplishing the work alongside the relationship among the people carrying and using the information. However, computers and libraries are not left out in the utilization of computer to carry out their day-to-day activities especially as it concerns the amount of information generated. Libraries have evolved over the years which gave rise to Electronic libraries.

1.2 PROBLEM DEFINITION

There are numerous problems with the traditional libraries. These in-adequacies are enumerated below.
The users of the traditional library need to go to the library physically which most times could lead to congestion of the library
Inability for the library resources to be accessed 24/7.
The library resources cannot be simultaneously used. It is one at a time.
Traditional libraries are limited by storage space.

1.3 AIM AND OBJECTIVES

The aim of the project was to develop an Electronic Library Management System, with a search functionality to facilitate the search and management of library resources. The proposed system Electronic Library System has its general objectives which it is set out to achieve. They are as follows:
a) To create variety of access services for searching, browsing and discovering resources.
b) To organize and index Electronic objectives for different purpose which includes cataloging, finding aids and database.
c) Reduction of loan and acquisition through the use of Electronic library.
d) Comprehensive storage of large repository of data that can be accessed by authorized users.
e) Reduce the cost of maintaining a traditional library.

1.4 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

In implementing the objectives of this study, the advantages of an Electronic library over the traditional library are enormous. Users will be able to access library resource electronically without the inconveniences of users carrying books, journals, magazines etc. which could result in rapid wear and tear of this library resource. Besides, it will afford users the opportunity to access Electronic books simultaneously without waiting for the book to be returned to the library.The proposed system will provide security to help track library resources through the development of a comprehensive database that will be used to house the library resources. The system will also eliminate some of the routine manual work prevalent in a traditional library .The objectives of this proposed system has been narrowed. This is geared towards ensuring that the objectives are achieved. They are as follows:

Removal of Physical Bounding: Ensure that the users do not always go to the library physically, but can access library resource once he/she is connected to the server.

Round the Clock Availability: To enable users to be able to gain access 24/7 to the information.

Information Retrieval: To make it easy and convenient for the user to use any search term (Title OR Authors name) to search the entire collection, thus providing user-friendly interfaces, and giving clickable access to its resource.
Preservation and Conservation: Provide access to materials that would otherwise fall to degradation from repeated use.

Multiple Access: Ensure that the same resources can be used simultaneously by a number of persons.
Space: Able to provide storage for information electronically by using little physical space to contain them.

1.5 SCOPE OF THE STUDY

The findings of this research work for the proposed system (Electronic Library System) were carried out in the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) in their Electronic library section. The scope of this study will include the following:
Information indexing/cataloguing.
Classification of library resource.
Searching and retrieval.
Registration of books/uploading of Electronic resources
Registration of users.
Database management.

1.6 LIMITATIONS
This proposed system will not take into consideration audio and video collections. It is web based not a standalone delivery system with its own user file and login ID and password. Also, time constraint during the time for this project work is short. Financial resources are a limitation encountered in the course of this research work.

1.7 GLOSSARY

Electronic/Electronic: Relating to or using signals or information represented by discrete values of a physical quantity.
Library: A building or room containing collections of books, periodicals and sometimes films and recorded music for people to read, borrow or refer to.
Electronic/Electronic Library: Is a type of information retrieval sysystem stem in which collections are stored in Electronic format.
Information: This is a collection of facts or data.
OPAC: (Online Public Access Catalog) an online database of materials held by a library or group of libraries

1.8 ORGANISATION OF CHAPTERS

This research work is organized as follows:
Chapter one: presents a background of study of the five main areas that are discussed in this work which are: aim and objective of work, significance of study, scope of study, limitation of study and how the work is been organized.
Chapter two: termed literature review explains some of the works done by other researchers on the above topic.
Chapter three: In this chapter the topic is discussed with regards to the system to be analyzed.
Chapter four: This chapter has the system design.
Chapter five: This chapter discusses the implementation.
Chapter six: This chapter has the summary and conclusion, recommendation, Conclusion and reference.

The well known electronic company, Samsung actually went through hell last year after the discontinuation and recall of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone, which kept exploding and busting into flames. Indeed this incident became a became an enormous mess that Samsung could not simply dismiss the issue. An explanation has been long overdue and the Korean manufacturer Samsung electronics has finally made known to the public what was wrong with the popular phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone .

However, after a deep apology and a short backstory, Korean manufacturer Samsung electronics went on to explain further more their testing process and results, which are not far from what some tech company also concluded at.

Samsung electronics went through an elaborate tests using over a total number of 200 thousand devices. These mainly focused on feature abnormalities regarding the water resistance, fast charging, wireless charging, the iris scanner, software and the USB Type C. None of these Samsung internal tests showed any issues at all. Korean manufacturer Samsung electronics then went on to closely examine the production process of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone and asked help from 3rd party investigators.

ABSTRACT

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a technology that uses radio waves to transfer data from an electronic tag, called RFID tag, attached to an object, through a reader for the purpose of identifying and tracking the object. The class management system provides the functionalities of the overall system such as displaying ID tag transaction, recording attendance and other minor functions. The tools used for achieving the system are assembly language (the programming language for the microcontroller AT89C51), the Micro Integrated Development Environment (MIDE) used is called MIDE asm-51 (this is the environment where the assembly language was written, built in order to generate the .hex file for simulating the system and burning the microcontroller) and other physical components like reset button, 40 pin IC socket, ribbon cable and vero board. The methodology used in system is strictly based on Rapid Application Prototyping. The system comprises of the RFID module reader typically contains a module (transmitter and Receiver), a control unit, a coupling element (antenna) and RFID tags. The System could be able to store the student’s data in the AT89C51 microcontroller. It reduces and eliminates paper based work, saving the time of attendance call; authenticate attendance with no proxy attendance.

INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background of the study
Classroom Attendance Management System (CAMS) is the easiest way to assist the faculty and the lecturer for this time-consuming process. The most common means of tracking student attendance in the classroom is by enforcing the students to manually sign the attendance sheet, which is normally passed around the classroom while the lecturer is conducting the lecture. For instance, lecturers with a large class may find the hassle of having the attendance sheet being passed around the class and the manual signing of attendance by students are burdensome and most likely distract them from teaching and getting full attention from the students .Besides, as the attendance sheet is passed around the class, some students may accidentally or purposely sign another student's name. The first case leads to a student missing out their name, while the latter leads to a false attendance record. Another issue of having the attendance record in a hardcopy Form is that a lecturer may lose the attendance sheet. In terms of attendance analysis, the lecturer also has to perform manual computation to obtain the students’ attendance percentage, which normally consume a lot of time.
RFID (Radio frequency identification) is a new technology that incorporates the use of electromagnetic or electrostatic coupling in the radio frequency portion of the electromagnetic spectrum to uniquely identify an object, animal, or person. Radio frequency identification can be a powerful tool in helping to manage student‘s attendance throughout the working school day and also enhance classroom security. RFID technology has been applied to solve problems where it is necessary to take automatically record the movements and locations of students in a classroom of school/university environment. RFID, which is an automatic identification technology used for retrieving from or storing data on to RFID Tags without any physical contact.
Recent advancements in chip manufacturing technology are making RFID practical for new applications and settings, particularly consumer item level tagging. These advancements have the potential to revolutionize supply-chain management, inventory control, and logistics. At its most basic, RFID systems consist of small transponders, or tags, attached to physical objects. RFID tags may soon become the most pervasive microchip in history. An RFID system primarily comprises of RFID Tags, RFID Reader, and Middleware. RFID Tags are uniquely and universally identified by an identification sequence, governed by the rubrics of EPC global Tag Data Standard. A tag can either be passively activated by an RFID reader or it can actively transmit RF signals to the reader. When wirelessly interrogated by RFID transceivers, or readers, tags respond with some identifying information that may be associated with arbitrary data records. Thus, RFID systems are one type of automatic identification system, similar to optical bar codes.
There are many kinds of RFID systems used in different applications and settings. These systems have different power sources, operating frequencies, and functionalities. The properties and regulatory restrictions of a particular RFID system will determine its manufacturing costs, physical specifications, and performance. Some of the most familiar RFID applications are item-level tagging with electronic product codes, proximity cards for physical access control, and contact-less payment systems. Many more applications will become economical in the coming years.
While RFID adoption yields many efficiency benefits, it still faces several hurdles. Besides the typical implementation challenges faced in any information technology system and economic barriers, there are major concerns over security and privacy in RFID systems.

I really don’t believe in just playing along. When we are together It means you have to be committed to us; you have to want to make it work I be wont the only one trying. Cause am an all or nothing kind of guy. You’ll also need to get used to my unusual and unorthodox taste in Music, if we are to work. I do still listen to the normalz, but nothing can break me from my Gospels and Taylor swift (yeah am a "swiftie". I love to dance but only in my head and mind but up there am a rock star. I don’t do clubs, those kind of places are not my thing, and I really don’t like loud music and people all up in my business.

Oh, do I love food. Not the kitchen type though but I love to be spoiled with different types and varieties of food and sometimes when my feedback may not be so encouraging, please don’t tag me a complainer I just have really high standard. (My Mom is the Best...).Am a hugger, love to cuddle and roll around maybe just a tad bit needy sometimes. I have a very wonderful view of life and of things around me, don’t take things personally and hate to raise my voice, shout or talk loud. I think a simple a "yes" or "no" is far better than explaining or trying to make me feel better, I totally believe and trust completely in your ability to make good decisions and choices.

For some guys keeping it tight is infact a priority, "i for one like to tuck in", as some guys may say.

The Christ the king celebration for the year 2016 in Otukpo Benue State was in fact one with a large population of over a 100000 people which came from all the parishes in the Otukpo axis ofBenue State, the parishes that made up this enormous number of people came from St Francis Cathedral, St Anthony Parish, St Mary Parish, St Jude Parish, Divine Mercy Church Ampia and other neighboring catholic church around the Otukpo axis.

The Christ the king celebration started from Divine Mercy Churh Ampia in Otukpo and ended at St Francis Cathedral in Otukpo, the whole celebration stated after 2 pm in the afternoon and ended after 6 pm in the evening, the procession took more than 3 good hours of walking. The celebration involved the partaking of both the young and old all praising and thanking Jesus Christ as they celebrate the Christ the king day.

However the Christ the king celebration was in deed a successful one because there was no record of casualty as the case may be, and also the presence of the police really helped a long way in making the masses maintain law and order during the procession of the Christ the king celebration inOtukpo.
