[sub][/sub] ugohemma: Why are you people like this?? You were corrected for wrongly claiming that Lagos still hosts Federal agencies, ministries and parastatals, yet you no wan gree admit say you were wrong, when google could have saved you the embarrassment. All the embassies have also moved to Abuja and just a few maintain branches in Lagos while the embassies themselves are based in Abuja -- which is the standard everywhere as embassies are situated in country capitals. Whether you accept it or not, Lagos of today didn't just happen. No. It experienced deterioration and abandonment after it stopped being capital. It took quality, focused and visionary leadership to resurrect and rejuvinate her. 2 Likes |

ugohemma: Am sorry but you just keep saying a lot of crap. Why not use google to spare yourself the embarrassment. Don't be lazy and google it because so far you are coming across as ignorant. As at 1999, when Tinubu became governor of Lagos, the state annual IGR was a paltry N15-billion naira and the state was practically bankrupt. Read about how he increased it to N60-billion when OBJ withheld allocation to the state. Don't be lazy for once. http://pointblanknews.com/pbn/articles-opinions/tinubu-meet-the-pathfinder-for-the-development-of-lagos/ Today Ambode has increased the state IGR to N300-billion annually. 2 Likes |

iamhorny: Lmao. See this mumu talking out of his nyansh as usual. Talking about skyscrapers, make i educate your ignorant behind small. The SW is home to more skyscrapers than any other region in West Africa, not just Nigeria. Infact, the first skyscraper in the entire Africa was built not in Lagos but ibadan (Cocoa House) and still stands till today, and was soon followed by the Femi Johnson broking house a little over a decade later in the same ibadan. Till today not one single building in the entire SE comes close to Cocao house in height. Yet you have the nerve to still talk crap about those that are far ahead of you and better than you in every ramification. Like wtf?? 4 Likes |

kettle84: Guy abeg shove your respect up your arse and go fvck yourself. You guys ain't worth shyt and neither is your respect or opinion. This coming from a shameless tribe whom minority tribe of Ikwerre and Ijaws seized their property and can't do shyt about it till today. Can you hear yourself? You just called the ilorin stool 'traditional'. Obviously the inhabitants of the city are fine with it else it would have long lost its legitimacy, so why don't you bugg off, shut tha fcvk up, and my mind your own frigging bizness. The sitting governor of Kwara today is a full-blooded Yorubaman and besides ilorin is the only part of the entire state (which is way bigger than your entire region) that chose to retain the islamic emirate culture. How that is your fvcking headache is what i can't fathom. Even the Jebba you mentioned has an Oba and not an Emir. You people are so jobless. |
