SmartPolician: These two governors are compelling all the SE governors to wake up from their slumber.
The only SE governor that I don't really understand his direction is the Ebonyi State govenor. The last time I read great news from Ebonyi was when Gov Francis Nwifuru sponsored 800 people to further their education abroad.
In Imo, Governor Uzodinma, who has been dormant for years, is now commissioning new projects and embarking on several new ones. Because FAC allowance has increased |

AMINDA: The Paul Biya tendencies continue to manifest. Main character syndrome. He thinks everything is about him. Wants all the perks of governing without any of the responsibility. The NDA cadets passed out in Kaduna over the weekend without the president nor his Vice being physically present, even though he was in the country. That has hardly ever happened before. The cadets take their oath pledging allegiance and loyalty to the Commander-in-Chief. Silly! INDEPENDENCE day celebration does not have to be with Military Parades. We are no longer in a military Junta. He or His VP does not need to attend graduation ceremony of Cadets. Use your sense. |

IGBOSON1: Of course the judges are being directed and instructed on what to do! When we say there's no justice in Nigeria and that the so called 'Judiciary' is firmly in the pockets of the Yoruba/Fulani hegemonic alliance, we're justified to hold such a position! Just look at Nigeria today and how it's failing in all indices of development and markers of civilisation! A lot of myopic, Igbo-hating bigoted schmucks are too fargone in their hate and dependence on 'one Nigeria' not to realise that as they're trying to hold Ndigbo/Biafra down that they're also down on the floor as well! Nigeria has been groping in the dark from 1st Oct', 1960, and from the looks of things things are only gonna get worse! When we read such statements, we are genuinely concerned. It is unhelpful to reduce serious national issues to tribal sentiments, as this only distracts from the real matter at hand. The individual in question has publicly available evidence against him — including videos and posts on Facebook and YouTube — where he openly incited unrest against the Nigerian State and Lagos State in particular. Now that he has been invited to defend himself, it is disappointing that some would rather frame this as a tribal issue instead of allowing the process of accountability to take its course. This pattern of turning every matter into an ethnic debate erodes trust and makes it difficult for people to confidently entrust national responsibilities to those who appear unwilling to rise above narrow affiliations. What is needed is fairness, transparency, and commitment to the rule of law — not divisive rhetoric. |

Previous Thread: Any Politician Promising To Serve One Term Needs Psychiatric evaluation - Soludo OBI and lies! Abraham Lincoln did not serve just one term—he was elected to a second term but did not complete it due to his assassination. Here’s a breakdown of his presidency: First Term: March 4, 1861 – March 4, 1865 Second Term: March 4, 1865 – April 15, 1865 (assassinated by John Wilkes Booth) Lincoln won re-election in 1864 (during the Civil War) and began his second term in March 1865, but he was killed just six weeks later. His vice president, Andrew Johnson, succeeded him and served the remainder of his term. So, while Lincoln was elected to two terms, he only served one full term plus a small portion of his second term. |

Health › Re: Coartem Price: Malaria Drug Now Costs Nearly ₦10k - Man Laments by OOOKEWALE: 12:24pm On Jul 26, 2025 |
TruthHurts1: https://x.com/HonShield/status/1948653824257786206?t=FZmCmRlOTDorbDIAVjszig&s=19[/quote]Coartem (artemether/lumefantrine) is an antimalarial medication, and while it is widely used in Nigeria, it is not manufactured locally.
Currently, Coartem is produced by Novartis, a Swiss pharmaceutical company, and most of its production happens outside Nigeria. However, Nigeria does have local pharmaceutical companies that produce artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs), which are similar to Coartem but under different brand names.
Key Points: Coartem Brand – Manufactured by Novartis (primarily in China and other international sites).
Nigerian-Made Alternatives – Some Nigerian pharmaceutical companies produce generic versions of artemether/lumefantrine or other ACTs.
Local Production Efforts – There have been discussions about increasing local production of antimalarials in Nigeria, but as of now, Coartem itself is not made in Nigeria.
Nigerian-Made Alternatives to Coartem (Artemether/Lumefantrine) Lonart DS (Bliss GVS Pharma) – One of the most popular Nigerian-available brands.
Amatem Forte (Swipe Pharma) – Produced in Nigeria.
Lumartem (Emzor Pharmaceutical) – A trusted Nigerian brand.
Artesunat-Lumefantrine (Pharmanova Ltd) – Another locally produced ACT.
Malarid (Greenlife Pharmaceuticals) – Contains the same active ingredients.
Advantages of Nigerian-Made ACTs: ✔ NAFDAC-approved – Meet WHO standards for malaria treatment. ✔ More affordable – Often cheaper than imported Coartem. ✔ Easily accessible – Widely available in pharmacies across Nigeria. |

A man who has a questionable horrible past and who has proven to be the worst president Nigeria has ever had since it's creation. All because you're benefiting from the status quo or he's your tribesman. How come you guys no longer scream "sophistication" again? Una bumbum Don open and the whole country has seen you guys for what you are. When you get education, you will realise that you cannot speak from other people's perspectives, as you are not sitting where they are sitting, you have not walked where they have walked. You will realise that what you just did is called fallacy of generalization built on fallacy of hasty conclusions. Please, go back to school to get educated. Then come back and lets have an intellectual discourse on this again. |
