Was it a faceless person that made the assertion?? Why not direct your own questions to the particular person, or set of people that claimed that an Igbo would never be president.

Why must you lump everyone together? That is one challenge your folks have : They know how to blame others for their problems even when they are the architect of their own misfortunes. These are the same Igbo who have consistently been unable to build inter-ethnic relationships with several other non-Igbo ethnic groups in Nigeria to support any presidential bid, like MKO Abiola did and his candidature was accepted nationwide. Many of them only delight in pulling others down, using propaganda, tribalistic chants and hate-filled speeches.

Praying for Nigeria is not compulsory for everyone. Let only those interested in her well-being, pray for her.

Finally, the proponents of Biafra can clear whatever they want to clear, but don't be surprised if those ashes they are clearing eventually turn out to be their own.

Meaning that Nigeria exists as the expense of the Igbos? and Igbos should continue pray for Nigeria, a contraption that keeps them from reaching the zenith as equal compatriot? People need to understand that there are some appointments the President makes which the Constitution is silent as to where the occupants will come from. Apart from the appointment of ministers, there is no Constitutional provision, as far as I know, that says the appointments must have a national spreads; not even the special advisers.
