Exactly....but I may not tell her I got it from our Cooperative Soc.and I'm still paying for it (she may find this really funny and I may look stupidd) rather I'll tell her I intend giving it to my new gf, if she refuses to hand it over, I may not go to the police..I have boys who can handle that for me.

2007 Camry is by far a better car but there are some points to consider: 1)Condition of both cars. A spider costing 1.35m is not likely to be in top form. 2)After purchase will your cousin be able to maintain a Spider. The difference in the maintenance cost of the 2 cars is wide, you may have to shoulder that responsibility. Think again.

Is the "check engine" light on as well? If yes, you might need to run a scan on the car to find out why. At times, the VSC/Traction turns off when the "check engine" light comes on, it is a self preservation mechanism on the car.

chucky234: The old number plate is tied to the car but the new number plate is tied to the owner and not the car, you can effect change of ownership on the old plate but you cant transfer ownership of the new plate.

Does this imply that a new number plate will have to be obtained for every change of ownership?

I recently bought a car and the previous owner is insisting on removing the number plates. I had to beg him to allow me retain it till I do the re-registration. Now, he disturbs me with phone calls demanding the number plates. These are my questions; 1) Is he not supposed to sell with the number plates? 2) Of what use will they be to him when I return them, can he put them on his new car?
