The Communications Coordinator plays a major role in two grants during a 12-month position. Leads and supports a social media coalition in raising awareness and understanding of global food and nutrition security as part of InterAction’s Global Food and Nutrition Security Project. The Orange African Social Venture Prize showcases entrepreneurs offering innovative products or services that meet the needs of Africans in fields such as health, agriculture, education, energy, industry or trade.

Who can enter?
Any entrepreneur (aged 21 or over) or legal entity that has been in existence for fewer than three years may participate at no cost and with no restriction on nationality. About OpenCon
OpenCon 2015 is the student and early career academic professional conference on Open Access, Open Education, and Open Data and will be held on November 14-16, 2015 in Brussels, Belgium. It is organized by the Right to Research Coalition, SPARC (The Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition), and an Organizing Committee of students and early career researchers from around the world.

The meeting will convene students and early career academic professionals from around the world and serve as a powerful catalyst for projects led by the next generation to advance OpenCon's three focus areas—Open Access, Open Education, and Open Data. Participants for the conference will be selected through an application process. Full and partial travel scholarships will be available to cover the cost of attendance for qualified participants.

Being an individual that have stayed both in Nigeria, and America, I realized the need to help those who are less privileged. I realized how much disabled individuals are finding it difficult to achieve their dreams. So many disabled individuals are dreamers who want to live a better life, change the world as much as they can, and also contribute to the growth of our country. However, these dreams are been cut short because of the neglect of they suffer in the society. Social welfare for the disabled is very poor in Nigeria. Rather than been in classes, disabled individuals are seen on the streets either begging for alms or hawking by the road side and they sometimes end up been hit by moving cars.

ImpactLabs is an initiative launched by students and graduates of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University in 2014. Recent graduate, 29 years old maximum.

University degree in ICT or communication-related disciplines.
Experience and keen interest in the area of ICTs, Web 2.0 and Social Media.
Knowledge in managing CMS (Joomla) is welcome.

Good organization, inter-personal and communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of one of the Centre's two working languages (French or English) and a satisfactory knowledge of the other.
