If you want a prosperous economy, you cannot limit the ability of investors to make a profit. Subsides limit profit making.

If Nigeria breaks up, the new countries should allow total deregulation, or else they would end up spending a large amount of their cash on keeping fuel cheap...cash that is needed for other things.
