Yes in Nigeria, they are locked up for no just cause. We see the issue of Sowore and many other end sars protesters many of them are still locked up in an unknown location for protesting. Can you tell me if it’s a crime to protest in Nigeria

Sowore was locked up for months, thank goodness he has good legal backup and people’s support both local and international how much more a less privilege person. This types of criminal don’t go to jail in Nigeria. If you investigate the case of that guys you will find out that some politicians are already negotiating with him on how to assassinate their own enemies in that kind of style. In the South West we have been using legal tools to free lot of innocent people in detention without trials, yes their are thousands we have not been able to get to because the process is time consuming frustrating and quite expensive.

There are young promising intelligent Southern Boys and girls in prison wasting away their dreams and aspiration destroyed because a police officer is having a sense of entitlement to bribe.

It would be better for the prison establishment to free innocent people illegally detained before what’s happening in the east spread across Nigeria in no time
