This is a great opportunity for a Digital Marketing Specialist with exceptional digital marketing and sales skills to join a dynamic and fast-growing Fintech company. The role requires a strategic thinker, with experience of designing and delivering digital marketing strategies.

The Digital Marketing Specialist would be working closely and reporting to the Marketing Operations Lead in formulating and executing the business’s strategic plan to ensure the company meets its short and long term sales targets. Ideally, you are expected to have gained both digital marketing and sales experience working at leading B2B & B2C organization with a strong focus on digital activation strategies. During your career you will have gained a good knowledge of building a customer leads pipeline through organic and paid marketing techniques, nurturing and engaging those leads through email marketing, telemarketing, SMS marketing, content marketing, and social media deployment campaigns as well as optimizing the conversion rate of clients.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work closely with the portfolio managers in building a huge database of prospective customers and nurturing those leads into active customers via organic and digital marketing campaigns.
• Design the customer marketing funnels and journey maps viz-a-viz analyzing their personas and behaviours over a set period in order to make marketing decisions.
• Monitor, service ans support clients/vendors on the company’s platform
• Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM marketing strategies, email, social media and display advertising campaigns for both B2B and B2C customers.
• Create, edit, publish and share engaging content periodically (e.g. Social media content, email newsletters, whitepaper, videos and news)
• Strong knowledge of working with the AARRR Sales Metrics Diagram (Acquisition – Activation – Retention – Referral – Revenue)
• Bring traditional and creative ideas on how to grow the sale metrics/KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
• Work closely with the tech team in implementing and optimizing the digital product process flows that reduces drop-out rates on the company’s platforms whilst improving overall customer conversions.
• Share with the company’s management competitor analysis (acquisition strategies, pricing changes, strategic partnerships, new product types & features)




Qualification:
• We are looking for Intelligent and Enthusiastic Youths with good communication skills and command of English language
• Minimum of Secondary School Education. Qualified Interns will be trained on the job.
Job Requirement
• Age: Not more than 30 years old
• Experience in sales & digital marketing is an added advantage
• ICT savvy and good knowledge of all office suite packages
• In-depth knowledge of online marketing tools is and added advantage too
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills are a must.

• Ability to work without supervision

HOW I STARTED OUT

How I started my export business with zero capital
My name is Bankole Kayode, the MD/CEO of Whales Energy Ventures (a.k.a: Green Whales Ltd), a registered company mainly for agro-allied export business since 2011. Without much story telling, I will go straight into how I started my export business with zero capital base. Before I continue, I want you to know that you can start a business or be anything you want to be especially if you can imagine it and act it.

NOTE: I am not a grammarIan, so don't mind my grammar grin.

Some years ago i run a type setting business centre owned by my elder brother wife. During this period as a typist I typed a lot of document and opportune to see a lot of customers document. One day, while doing the normal typing, a customer worked in and gave me a document called proforma invoice and packing list which has the break down of charcoal export in thousands of dollars, I got curious but kept quiet. Some days latter, the customer worked in again and prepare another proforma invoice, because of my speed and accuracy the customer became regular, hence we got close. After some months of good relationship, I was able to ask him to teach me the business. To cut the long story short, he put me through the online platform to get client and he register me, after some more months I was able to nab my first client. NOTE: I HAVE NOT REGISTER ANY COMPANY AS AT THIS TIME. So I propose to the client I will be shipping the goods in partnership, meaning I wont have to use my company name which he agreed to. So I presented my to be partners details, including his bank details where the banking instrument called Letter of Credit (L.C) will be received. Unfortunately, my to be partner had serious crises few weeks after I submit his details to my client, so I got scared but fortunately for me, my client is trying to avoid L.C charges and every effort my client made to raise the L.C (Letter of Credit) proof abortive, then he suggested if he could pay me some advance then after completing the job, he will pay my balance, I immediately jump at it, then i had to start the process of registering a business name, then use my teacher export licence to export it. And that was the beginning of my export carrier since 2011. Till today i still have copy of the telex for the transfer to my personal domiciliary account that was opened to trade forex but ended up as the saving grace for the export business.
