It is high time that students' starts to fight for their rights!

It is high time we have to speak out!

It is high time we select someone who will not dance to the tone of the management!

It was so surprising that students stood up to vote out managements choice in the YASU election held on 9th october, 2009.

Despite the effort of the managements choice, who went to the extent of buying students vote with material things, students still stood against him that no! no! no!

WE NEED SOMEONE THAT CAN MAKE CHANGE AND NOT SOMEONE WHO WILL SELL US OUT TO THE MANAGEMENT.

Students stood up to vote someone who will not at the end of the swearing-in will be forced to sign a MOU with the management that there will not be any form of ALUTA!!! or PROTEST during his time.

But tell me which other way can student fight for their right after taking due processes.

I REALLY APPRECIATE ALL STUDENTS OF YABATECH BOTH FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME WHO CAME OUT TO VOTE OUT DLA (MANAGEMENTS BOY).

YOU ARE ALL WELCOME TO A NEW FACE OF YABATECH, THE DAYS OF SUFFERING AND TIME WASTING IS OVER.

We pray that the Almighty God will see the Elected President through his administration and we all will support him to achieve his goal.

ALUTA CONTINUA! VICTORA ASATA!

EducationOpen Letter To Management Of Yabatech by opyyaki(op): 9:28am On Sep 15, 2009
OPEN LETTER TO MANAGEMENT OF YABATECH

Dear Management,

48 HOURS ULTIMATUM TO RELEASE ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR RETURNING PART-TIME STUDENTS’.

You know, there comes a time when people get tired of being trampled over by the iron feet of oppression.

There comes a time, when people get tired of being plunged across the abyss of humiliation, where they experience the bleakness or nagging despair.

There comes a time when people get tired of being pushed out of the glittering sunlight of life’s July, and left standing amidst the piercing chill of an alpine November.

And you know we are not wrong in our morally and ethically justifiable demand, if we are wrong, then the constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria that established Yabatech, to provide sound and uninterrupted Full-time and Part-time programme is wrong.

If we are wrong God Almighty is wrong for epitomizing Himself as God of justice.

Standing beside love is always justice, and we will have no option than to go the way of justice – court action and also publish this article in the national dailies, if the beauty of love is repaid with coin of hatred.

Lectures in just a department is a fog of deceit.

Signed

EducationPart-time Program @ Yabatech Is Not Encouraging(run Away From It!) by opyyaki(op): 12:09pm On Sep 14, 2009
NIGERIANS!!! BEWARE OR YABATECH PART-TIME PROGRAMME AS YOU WILL SPEN ALMOST 5 YEARS FOR ORDINARY NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMME.

I am a bonified student of Yabatech in the school of parttime since 2006 we are yet co conclude our ND programme, no carry-over, it just that the management of Yabatech has a bad package for partimers, hardly do we see lecturers in class and at the end of the day u will have to sit for the exam.

Yabatech Partt-time is a waste of time it disfugures your plan.

We 2006/2007 are yet to graduate, two years program was extended to three years we did no complain despite that we are yet to graduate.

As for we 2006/2007 set, we have formed a forum and we are ready to seek redress in the court of law because it is our rigth, our admission letter is enough as evidence.

We spent 18 months for ND 1 instead of 8 Month, 11 months for ND 2 and even 5 month was wasted after the end of ND .

Now we are yet to start lectures and we are said to have resumed ND 3 since august 2009.

I will update this forum asap.

For concerned students!!!!!!!!!
