We should apply caution, solutions might be slow but requires patience.

Patience should be the word, cause when all this is done, we will enjoy it.

Yes promises are meant to be fulfilled, we easily see the things which have not been done, but forget the ones done, anything about technology takes some time, so that the process will be without hitches, data migration under a unified database actually takes time and absolute care.
