Senator Ibikunle Amosun (APC, Ogun) has donated the sum of N25 million to Ogun State government to help in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

As at April 1, the state has four confirmed cases of the deadly virus.

In a letter dated March 31, 2020 and addressed to the state governor, Dapo Abiodun, the lawmaker said the donation, his “personal contribution for the management of Covid-19 challenges in Ogun State”, has been transferred into the state government’s designated Access Bank account for Ogun State Coalition against COVID-19.
