Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Did I Do Wrong With My Attitude ? by Origin(f): 9:42pm On Apr 13
God will provide better. What will be yours can never be taken from you.

It was good that you were truthful.

PS: That is minimum wage which should not have been payable to a clerical staff.

Employers expectations can be quite high for such a low paying job. (Private sector always acting smart)

Family / Re: Is My Wife Correct On This Matter? by Origin(f): 12:02pm On Mar 12
It shows the level at which you have placed your family in the hands of your wife..

You talk too much and show off to your wife and she has seen you finish. and you treat your whole family with levity.

You that if they mention your mother, your wife should run from the room.

As a wife, she should have never been invited into your family matter, should not know their story and should not know how much money exchange hands between family members.

It protects everybody and everybody should mind their business
Politics / Re: Reason Why Ibori Loot Never Returned To Delta State( Photo) by Origin(f): 11:52am On Mar 12
Yes the money belongs to the people of delta ....

And should be used to pay directly for a project identified for each local government area in delta.

The money should be paid to contractors for a clearly identified project in each LGA.

Are these things no available at any point in time?

Bolt should release information to aid investigation.
Nairaland / General / Re: Why Does The Average Nigerian Expect To Be Tipped Fpr Doing Nothing by Origin(f): 7:36pm On Mar 07
Its the beggar mentality...

The low self esteem mentality....

The lack of self respect mentality...

Yes there is poverty in the land. And the pay may not be good.

But that should never be the answer. I have seen security guards that wear gatored shirts bright, black and shiny shoes who greet you with a smile. I know their pay is not good but would not stoop to begging.

I've met people wey get qualifications pass water who started with very low paying jobs and still did not beg.

The most unfortunate part is the one who earns a lot of money and still begs/steal from the poverty striken (palliative). That is the highest form of begging. They look rich but their eyes is always begging and greedy

Religion / Re: Rev. Ntia And Wife, Ukamaka Laurie Survive A Ghastly Car Accident (video) by Origin(f): 12:12pm On Mar 07
Our focus should be what caused the accident.

Human error, vehicle malfunction, speeding

Cars just dont just flip.

We are grateful fo their safety, but.......what caused the accident.

That is so normal.

Imagine your reaction when you break a plate and when someone else breaks your plate..

If she was the one in the car she would have told you how she suffered begging them but they did not heed.

It's just human nature. We always feel we can do better in other people's situations.
Romance / Re: Do I remove This Baby? by Origin(f): 1:48pm On Mar 03
Off topic:

Are children really expensive. Breastfeed them for 6 months. Introduce them to our child friendly local diet after 6 months. Two pack of onesies is enough clothing for months.

Their clothes full bend down select at very cheap rates. Cloth nappies as cheaper version of disposable nappies.

People just overwhelm themselves with expenses. Before brands were we not taking care of kids??

Religion / Re: My Father Has A Bat In His Wardrobe: Should I Be Worried? by Origin(f): 11:01pm On Jan 23
What is the problem gan.
Is it the bat?

Is it any black bird?

Is it the fact the black bird/rat is hanging upside down??

Or is it that the black bird is in a wardrope.

Or is it a combination of all these??

Most importantly, what is in a BLACK BIRD that makes you think it is unholy.

Just food for thought!!!! -

#stop racism # BLM #black birds matter #let the black birds live too grin

Properties / Re: Why Don't Builders Use Steel In Nigeria? by Origin(f): 5:35am On Dec 21, 2020
I have always wondered this......

Especially for lintel and pillars (does not need any concrete again).

I believe it has to do with our very conservative nature- not willing to learn or try new things...

Just look at the way we stick to toyota when there are several other good cars. Always tick to the norm or average.

Religion / Re: Neighbor Throwing Bids/pebbles/stones Every Morning by Origin(f): 5:32am On Dec 21, 2020
In the olden days and till now, beads stones and pebbles were used for counting.

Perhaps after every fast she throws one to see how many fasts she has left.

Think the best of people yet pray and be cautious in your everyday life.
Islam for Muslims / Re: Intimacy gadget And Masturbation: Halaal Or Haram? by Origin(f): 6:39am On Dec 20, 2020
Unfortunately i disagree with the OP on this, what is HARAAM OR HALAL is quite clear and not all rulings fall into this category. Even thiugh i also did not see the supporting ayah or hadith to back up that ruling.

Sexual development and its resultant issues are unique to different people and often times cannot be controlled or bottled up.

These issues need to be looked at in a wider perspective.. masturbation reduces sexual tension.

Would you prefer that man masturbates to reduce this tension or that he bottles it up to the point where he grabs a child, an animal or a woman to forcefully rape it or her
Food / Re: How Much Is Tomatoes Paste In Your Area? by Origin(f): 6:29am On Dec 20, 2020
Number one: that is pure chemical. Nothing natural about it.

Number two: i would rather not cook that food than buy that thing for anything above N80.

You have a choice, you always do and it is when you exercise that choice that the CONSUMER BECOMES KING.

People will be exploiting the xmas season to jack up prices. Better change your menu to efo riro and semo to frustrate them.

That is purely a money making venture....

That hitler story is just for advertising. Notice how the story is vague, unconfirmed? "Rumour the alligator was part of Hitler's personal collection"

But it will sell sha. People will pay to go see it. I just home they made good use of the meat and bones too
Politics / Re: Nigeria Police Accused Of Photoshopping This Picture by Origin(f): 10:28pm On Dec 01, 2020
If anyone told me i would be fed up i would never believe it.

The only they worship is money.
They are above the law.
Leaders that are oblivious, nonchalant except when their safety is threatened.

The increasing cost of living.
The job losses
Businesses closing
The naira losing value daily.
Yet not one single palliative to its people
Not even the aged
while leaders ride their four car entourage.

With their limitless salary.
Oblivious and nonchalant.
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Gives Reason For Killing Farmers In Zabarmari, Issues New Warning by Origin(f): 10:05pm On Dec 01, 2020

If i hear that allahukabar.. E mean say bomb wan detonate.. But if i hear praise the lord, e mean say preaching wan start.

You've been hearing it everyday for all call to prayer. It is said perhaps 200 hundred times per day in every mosque in the whole world.

It means God is the Greatest!!!!!.

Just because some bad eggs abuse it to suit their agenda does not validate their actions nor does it demean the sentence.

One thing is certain. Death is assured for everyone. And fear the day when the only thing you can use to bargain is what you have sent forth- YOUR DEEDS.
