Hey people, who here has tried Windows Phone 10 preview?

Just for phones like 830, 630, 730 and others. Having watched a video by Joe Belford, I saw its awesome features. I'm still hoping for it to be out for a Lumia 928 so I can test run it.

I think it(the technical preview) can be installed on any device with an sd card. And this site is good for news, cracked xaps and appx windowsphonehub.in

My internet sharing still doesn't work(doesn't turn on). Lumia 822 . The access point that I downloaded doesn't open in settings(after clicking it, it goes back to settings)

its been impossible for me to upgrade my phone to the next OS (still in Lumia black), the metre goes halfway then stops with an error code. Someone suggested I reset my phone and try again but doing so could wipe off my downloaded apps and that's why I need a soft reset.

did you try releasing the power button when it vibrate(don't release the volume down button until you see the exclamation mark)

Check if there's access point in your settings. If it's not there, then look for it in the windows store. Alternatively, I'll paste a link here should you not find it. That will be when I log in with a better phone.

wasn't in store, but I've downloaded it. Didn't open in settings though

Mine still remains make sure before you apply any update, your on the "Preview for Developers" programme. If you're not on it, I can't assure you it would remain after updating. Plus if your phone was not initially locked to a specific carrier, you should have not problem switching between 2G and 3G once you're on Lumia cyan or a more recent update. Phones locked to At&T like mine have this feature unchanged like mine even after updating, though the Preview for Developers does come in handy.

is your internet sharing working? Mine refuse to turn on(Lumia 822 locked to Verizon but now unlocked)

when did you do the update, I updated mine on saturday, but found lumia cyan(though with the folder on start screen, apps corner etc that came with denim). Can you do Cortana voice activation?

do you mean as ringing tone? if yes, get a pc and copy the music to the ringtone folder of your Internal storage . You'll find it in settings. Note that you cannot just copy the music on your phone..YOU NEED A PC

The update download size is around 250-300mb. However as recommended by Microsoft, it's best to have a free space of atleast 1GB on your phone memory to install the update.
Downloading didnt take my time but installation did.

I received an update notification on my 520, and i updated it. It has the features previously listed except the "hey, Cortana" voice activation. But when i c checked, it's still Lumia Cyan
