Have you tried copying texts or a link on Nairaland to see that you cannot, as at recent? I just realised this. It seems Nairaland has placed a bar to prevent its' users from copying texts. Maybe this is a way or another strategy, in its' wisdom, to fight and delimit fake news.

Though this step is commendable, it also comes with disadvantages (users might no longer be able to copy important info or names of things).
