Wolves striker Raul Jimenez has been discharged from hospital and is now resting at home with his family.

The Mexico international needed surgery after a clash of heads with David Luiz in last week's 2-1 win at Arsenal.

Jimenez remained in hospital until Tuesday was discharged with club doctor Matt Perry describing his initial progress as excellent.

Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo said he was "afraid" for the striker following his head injury.

Nuno said: "It was very serious and everyone was afraid, everyone was worried. As the days go by and, knowing he is being taken good care of, we have been able to return to a normal situation."

Support for the introduction of concussion substitutions increased following Jimenez and Luiz's collision with ex-players, managers and coaches also calling for a review on protocols.

Ryan Mason, who had to retire due to a head injury in 2017, says football's current concussion protocols are insufficient and in need of an urgent review
Nuno was already supporting plans to introduce concussion substitutes before Jimenez's injury and believes it now has unanimous backing.

. Provide remote consultation services

COVID-19 has required business owners to adapt. If you currently market to an industry taking a hit in the pandemic, look at it as an opportunity to pivot your business model.

Once you successfully launch your online store, you can help others do the same. Build and design websites or sell online courses, tutorials and coaching sessions to share best practices and tips with other business owners.

Do you work in the medical industry? 05. Start a podcast

wix podcast playerwix podcast player

The spoken word has made a huge comeback—the podcast industry is estimated at $90 million as of 2019. Get your slice of that pie by launching your own podcast.

Start by picking a topic that you find interesting. Look for ways to entertain, inform and inspire. Team up with friends to join you on air. Invite guests, like comedians and thought leaders, to add value and increase exposure.

Record your podcast with audio hosting sites like SoundCloud or Libsyn. When you finish recording, use the Wix Podcast Player to showcase and stream podcasts from your site.

Once you have enough listeners, you can find sponsorship deals on sites like Ad Results Media, Adopter Media or True Native Media.

Give you revenue an additional boost. Think of ways to compliment your podcast brand with merchandise, like branded tees, socks and other accessories using print on demand.

04. Publish your own book

Have you always dreamed of writing your own book? Make this the year you finally get your book published—it’s easier than you might expect.

You can self-publish your own bestselling eBook without a lot of monetary investment. Compose content into a digital PDF format. Put together your content—photos, recipes, memoirs, short stories or adult coloring book templates. If you run a blog, you’ve already got plenty of content: consider combining your blog posts into a book. You can also narrate an audiobook by uploading audio files.

Next, promote and sell your book online. Build a website so customers can find you. Choose from professionally designed templates specifically created for bookstores and authors. Personalize your website to match the look and feel of your book. Earn additional royalties by distributing your eBook or paperback through Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing.

03. Create digital video content

wix video makerwix video maker

Now that people spend more time at home, they’re looking for ways to keep themselves occupied by taking on new hobbies or returning to old ones. Do you work in an industry that traditionally requires face-to-face interaction, like fitness, restaurants or education? Use this opportunity to create digital instruction videos, like cooking demonstrations, workout routines and more, which people can stream online.

The shutdown of schools and daycares in 2020 means parents are spending a lot more time at home with their little ones. Moms and dads look for ways to keep their kids busy, active and learning. So if you find yourself at home and temporarily out of a job, how can you apply your experience to meet this market demand?

Family-friendly activities are always trendy, especially now. Get ahead of the competition by selling kid-friendly video content. If you’re a fitness trainer, create exercise videos for children, like P.E. with Joe. Stream kid-friendly content like workouts or baby yoga classes. Post daily lessons online to help parents homeschool their kids. You can even create an entertaining cooking show with your own children.

There are different pricing models to earn money with digital video content. You can charge a monthly channel subscription to give customers full access to exclusive content. If you work with video hosting platforms like YouTube, you can monetize your content based on the number of viewers. Another option is selling or renting your videos. Viewers can download the video or watch it on your site over a 24-48-hour cycle.

Consider offering some of your content for free to give customers an idea of your product and nudge them to make a purchase. Host live streaming or webinars with Zoom, Vimeo and YouTube.

print on demand wixprint on demand wix

Now let’s take dropshipping one step further. Add a personal touch with print on demand by connecting Printful or Printify to your online store. Just like with dropshipping, you partner with print on demand companies who supply the inventory. From t-shirts to phone cases, bags and more—choose any customizable merchandise and add your own creative touch. Go ahead and design graphics, quotes or photos to print on the products you selected.

Start by choosing from hundreds of unique products to customize and sell your designs on your online store. Start a t-shirt business with funny quotes. Add your cat photos to novelty socks. Create stickers with your logo or designs that match your brand. Another cool option: sell merchandise with original artwork made by you.

Still, you don’t have to be a graphic designer to sell unique designs. Hire and collaborate with freelance artists on sites like Fiverr or 99Designs to create one-of-a-kind art for your print on demand products.

When you receive an order, you can ship to over 90 locations worldwide. Forward your orders to your chosen supplier, while managing everything from your Wix dashboard. Just think about it—shoppers will rock your unique designs all over the world.

Ready to turn your business ideas into cash flow? Become your own boss and work from anywhere with these 10 low-investment business ideas.

01. Run your own online store with dropshipping

You don’t need to store inventory or invest a lot of money to sell online. With dropshipping, you skip the cost of manufacturing products, managing inventory and shipping by partnering with third-party suppliers who manage it all for you.

How it worksOnce you’re done setting up your online store and your site goes live, you can begin promoting your business using digital marketing tools to drive shoppers to your site. Each time they make a purchase, you’ll receive an order notification. Once the order is sent to your supplier they'll fulfill it. Boom. You just became the boss of your very own eCommerce business.

To get started with your dropshipping business, connect Modalyst or Spocket to your Wix account. Source from millions of trusted suppliers, including AliExpress, to sell all sorts of amazing products at your own set prices. Just remember to strike a balance between competitive pricing and how much you earn for each sale.

Choosing products to sell

Before you start your online business, you'll need to choose dropshipping products to sell. Take the time to clarify your vision and brand. Do some market research to find out what people are buying. Assess the potential interest, pricing and profit margin of products before selling them in your store.

Succeeding with an online store means finding a way to stand out. Explore niche products to source and sell, and try to avoid putting all your eggs in one basket by selling a variety. That said, try to group your products into collections to make your online store easier to navigate. Stay away from markets that are already overcrowded with merchants. Take the time to set up marketing and promotional efforts that will ultimately save you time and boost your sales.

5 Things You Should Definitely Tell Your Pharmacist
By providing your pharmacist with the most accurate and up-to-date information, your pharmacist can help you maximize your health.

pharmacist at work
As medication experts and one of the most accessible and most-trusted healthcare professionals, pharmacists are available to help you sort through any confusion or questions you have about your medications, healthcare plan, and disease management. From explaining how to take your medication to providing disease education, your pharmacist can help you maximize your health.

The National Council on Patient Information and Education (NCPIE) encourages patients to know and understand their roles and responsibilities when it comes to taking medications. Patient rights include the right to information, the right to ask questions, and the right to take part in treatment decisions. Their responsibilities include communicating with their healthcare professionals and doing their part to help the recommended treatment succeed. The relationship between the patient—you—and the pharmacist is a two-way street. It can only be successful when you provide your pharmacist with the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Here are the five most important things to be sure to tell your pharmacist:

1. Personal information. This includes your date of birth, address, and phone number. You want to ensure that the pharmacy team is able to get a hold of you in case there are issues or concerns with your medications. Pharmacists may also need to contact your doctor to discuss your treatment plan or get specifics about your prescription. Once they resolve the issue with your doctor, the pharmacy staff will contact you and make sure you get the right medication as soon as possible. Having the correct, most convenient contact information for you supports these communication efforts.

2. Health insurance information. Your pharmacist and pharmacy team are great resources to help you navigate your prescription insurance and other financial assistance programs. When out-of-pocket medical costs are a financial burden (called financial toxicity), many people can feel helpless and frustrated. This is where your pharmacy team can help. The first step is to make sure they have your current health insurance information. This will allow them to submit your medications to the plan to see if they are covered and if you have to pay a copayment.

If you have any issues or challenges paying the copayment or if your medication is not covered, your pharmacist may have additional avenues for helping you get your medication. These may include prescription discount cards, manufacturer coupons, or even grant programs. The pharmacy team can also help with prior authorizations required by your insurance company. If your insurance denies coverage of your prescription, your pharmacy team may be able to help you submit an appeal for coverage. They may also be able to suggest less-expensive, generic versions of the medication. Be sure to keep them in the know about any changes to your insurance company or coverage right away.

3. Medical history. This includes your past and current diseases or conditions, family medical history, allergies, and vaccine history. Most pharmacies do not have access to the same medical records as doctors or other healthcare providers do. You can help to bridge any gaps by providing these details to your pharmacist. When your pharmacists have inside knowledge about conditions you have, they can help make sure your prescriptions are safe and effective. Inquire about any paperwork you can complete for the pharmacist to have this information on record.

4. Drug history and current medications. Make sure your pharmacist is aware of all medications (prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and any herbs or supplements) you’re taking, as well as past medications that have caused adverse reactions. This is important in helping you to avoid harmful drug interactions and side effects. With this information, pharmacists can recommend an appropriate medication plan to your other healthcare providers. They can also recommend the right vaccinations for you and appropriate over-the-counter medications, herbs, and supplements based on your prescriptions and conditions in order to avoid serious drug interactions, allergies, or prescription errors. Make a list and bring it to the pharmacist so it can be entered into the system.

5. Challenges that you may face related to your medications. This may include side effects, adverse reactions, or issues with your schedule that may make it difficult to take your medication as directed. If left unresolved, adverse medication reactions can lead to emergency department visits and even hospitalizations. Adverse drug events can also contribute to poor medication adherence, meaning that you may not take your meds correctly.

Many factors contribute to the success of your treatment, but one of the most important things you can do is take your medicine exactly as prescribed. This includes taking the right amount of your medication at the right time each day, with certain foods or beverages as directed. If you are experiencing side effects, your pharmacist can help determine what the next step should be. Is the side effect likely to resolve on its own? Should you do anything or take another medication to help with the side effect? Should you contact your doctor to discuss your experience? Your pharmacist can also recommend strategies to help you take your medications as directed. These can include simplifying your medication regimen or setting up reminder alarms on your phone.

It’s important to provide information to your pharmacists, but you should also get as much information from them as you can. Know that you can always ask your pharmacist any questions about your medications and diseases or conditions. Be Medwise from the NCPIE recommends a checklist of 10 questions for patients to ask their pharmacists about their medications. These questions include information about directions for use, side effects, and storage.

Some of this information is included on the prescription label, so it may be helpful for you to read the label with your pharmacist. Repeat the instructions back to your pharmacist, so you ensure you’re on the same page. The pharmacy contact information will also be on the label, so you can call the pharmacy if you have additional questions.

By keeping your pharmacists updated and informed, they can do their best to help you understand your medications, diseases, and conditions, and help you stay as healthy as possible.

ProgrammingHow To Talk To A Software Programmer. by OSADNA009(op): 1:14pm On Dec 08, 2020
Software engineering is a fancy term but what is it exactly? what does a software engineer do? What kind of people can be software engineers? what type of work do they deliver? Is software engineer a weirdo who does not socialise? Do they come from different planet? Do they think that they are the most important people around in companies? Why do they act like this? Why sometimes we can’t talk and relate to them?
Nope! All those questions are basically false questions! We should stop circulating those questions around. Software engineers are the nicest people I have ever met! The only difference between them and the rest is that they are to the point. They don’t like to waste time therefore they prefer everyone else respects this criteria!
Unfortunately the rest of the people don’t always think the same way software engineers think. That will produce a barrier between them and the rest of people in the companies/startups/enterprises. Of course there are always exceptions everywhere. I don’t mean to generalise this context. My best friend is from Russia and I know him since 2012. I had good fun with him and I still have whenever I see him. He is a software engineer and he is fun to work with!
Try to always remember the below points while communicating to a software engineer / developer:
Always be prepared about what you want to talk about
Be specific 100% not even 99.99%. If you are still not sure about the topic then wait until it’s completely clear
Value their time
Appreciate their work, don’t thank them!
Get technical and show genuinely that you are interested to learn about what they do
Understand their difficult job and don’t expect them to be a robot
Have empathy when talking to a developer
Don’t expect them to be like others! Manage your expectation
Don’t take it personal if what you hear is not pleasant sometimes
Be aware that they mostly use the logic layer of their brain rather than the feeling layer
Answer their questions with patience. Understand that their ultimate goal is to help, so all the questions they ask is just to get more clarity
If you are a Product Manager; don’t get emotional when they insist on something, in fact they are trying to better understand the problem so that they can design a solution. Nothing is meant to be personal
Approach them at a right time and respect their privacy
Try your best to plan your talk rather than spontaneous discussions unless it’s super urgent.
