Kyase:it may not necessarily be the coaches fault it might be the players fault. |
lordprogress:Lampard is another p.e teacher check man u's squad value and you will see what I am talking about. |
Kyase:well the thing special about him is that in his first season as a coach not a full season. He won the Fa cup and community shield. About being season contenders it was to early to judge. But before the end of March Arsenal will be higher than man u. |
Kyase:ole is a p.e teacher that is only doing well because of the depth of his squad and his well is not too well. If Arteta coaches this current man u squad rest assured man u will be tittle contenders. |
oluwatosink:are you joking, even Southampton has a better chance of winning the league this season ![]() |
Kyase:well maybe because Arteta came into the club in December trying to salvage the season and managed to finish 8th and beating your Man u,Liverpool and man city. |
israelp:Actually since when Arteta arrived last season his team has the best defensive record among the three not man u with their criminal defense |
Notatribalist:I'm not a chelsea fan. |
oluwatosink:second half, second half. Luck dey finish Na. Infact man u should not sack ole watching this man u team is giving me joy. ![]() |
paulolee:Thanks. |
Creeza:Guy go and check Allison was one of the best keepers in his last season at Roma. |
Creeza:Not really, Allison was the third best goalkeeper in his last season in Serie A |
Creeza:OK,that's then not now.klopp spent only one season at borrusia. We are talking about now not then. And lewa has been in Bayern for years now. If you say it's klopp that trained him what of the other coaches, get sense. |
Creeza:what your saying does not make sense at all. Let me point out what you just said. Firstly,Liverpool was not one victory away from being invincibles because I can remember they lost to Watford, Manchester city and Arsenal. So get your facts right. Secondly, the premier leauge has never been a farmer's leauge, the premier leauge is one of the most competitive leauges in the world if not the most competitive. Yes he is a good coach no denying that. But I think Flick deserves it better because he won I think the quadrupole with Bayern in a short period of time. |
Heung-Min Son goal against Burnley last December, where he ran length of the pitch before scoring, earns him Puskas Award at FIFA Best ceremony; Luis Suarez also made the final three; Heung-Min Son's superb goal in Tottenham's 5-0 victory against Burnley has won the Puskas award. The goal also won the Premier League Goal of the Season award for 2019/20. Heung-Min Son has picked up the award for the best goal of the past 12 months at the FIFA Best awards for his incredible solo effort against Burnley last season. Jordan Flores' outrageous volley for Dundalk against Shamrock Rovers in the League of Ireland was also shortlisted, along with Sophie Ingle's effort for Chelsea against Arsenal and a fine goal for Manchester City's Caroline Weir against Manchester United. Luis Suarez and Flamengo's Giorgian De Arrascaeta made the final three alongside Son, but it was the Spurs forward who emerged victorious. The goal in question took place against Burnley last December in Spurs' 5-0 win. Son picked the ball up on the edge of the Burnley penalty area, before scything through the middle the Clarets defence, running the full length of the pitch before slotting home. Son has been one of the outstanding players in the Premier League this season, scoring 14 goals in 22 games to help Spurs to the top of the table and into the Europa leauge knockout stages. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/12165671/fifa-best-heung-min-son-wins-puskas-award-for-best-goal-of-the-past-12-months

9.Le Moulin de la Galette – Jean Renoir Auguste_Renoir_-_Dance_at_Le_Moulin_de_la_Galette A leading impressionist, Auguste Renoir captures the buzz and excitement of this outdoor scene in Paris. It is Paris at the turn of the Century – a time when Paris was a leading cultural centre of the world, but essentially a place where people were having a good time, enjoying life.

8. The Girl With a Pearl Earring – Jan Vermeer the-girl-with-a-pearl-earring Jan Vermeer painted this iconic portraits (somewhat reminiscent of the Mona Lisa) and is a beautiful example of the Baroque style and the use of light. The age of the girl is deceptively hard to fathom. On the one hand, the beautiful lustrous eyes suggest the innocence of childhood. On the other hand, there are touches of a girl on the threshold of womanhood. It creates a dynamic of purity, innocence and the inevitable change of growing into womanhood.

7. The Last Supper – Leonardo Da Vinci Last-supper_Da_Vinci_5 Leonardo da Vinci paints one of the most famous scenes in the Bible – The Last Supper. It is after Christ has said one of the disciples will betray him. This is the ultimate soap opera – the ultimate test of man – who will we serve, God or Mammon? This is why we are fascinated by the scene, how would we have behaved at the table of Jesus Christ?

6.Poppies in a Field – Claude Monet Claude_Monet_-_Poppy_Field Claude Monet is one of the great impressionist painters. This beautiful pastoral scene encapsulates the essence of how the impressionists captured the beauty and simplicity of nature. It also captures that pre-industrialist age, which was fast disappearing during Monet’s life. It is an evocation of a bye-gone era. It is hard not to feel nostalgic about this scene. Notice also how the humans are but a sideshow to the overall picture.

5.Ceci N’est pas une Pipe – Rene Magritte ceci-nest-pas-pipe- A classic example of modern surrealist art. This is not a pipe, but the picture is of a pipe. Why is this famous? We don’t really know. Somehow it became emblematic of surrealism and the paradox of modern life.

3. Creation of Adam – Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo sistine-chapel Michelangelo took four years to paint the Sistine Chapel. He chose scenes from the Old Testament. This is the moment of God creating Adam. This particular panel is just a fraction of the Sistine Chapel. 2. The Scream – Edvard Munch munch A painting that symbolises the anguish and pain of modern life. It has become one of the most famous pictures of modern times. Somehow it makes me think of Freud and looking at our subconscious. It is famous, but is it good? Why look at the mud in the lily pond, when you can enjoy the lilies on top?

These are ten of the most famous paintings ever created. It is a personal selection of paintings that have a universal and lasting appeal. 1. Mona Lisa – Leonardo Da Vinci Mona-Lisa Leonardo da Vinci worked on his masterpiece over a period of 20 years. He carried it with him everywhere. The enigmatic smile has captured the imagination of the world. It has been stolen twice and now resides in the Louvre, Paris. When the Mona Lisa visited America in the 1960s, it gained a prominence close to that of the then US president John F Kennedy. Why do people queue up for so many hours to catch a fleeting glimpse? Perhaps because it is very human, but at the same time offering a sensation that there is something beyond. In the world, but looking beyond. Is that not a smile of supreme satisfaction? Everyone will have a different opinion, and that is part of the attraction of the painting.
