Olamide Releases The Track-list For His Forthcoming Album ‘UY SCUTI’

YBNL Nation/Empire recording artist, Olamide shares the track-list for his forthcoming studio album ‘UY Scuti’.

The singer who is well known for releasing an album annually announced that he would be releasing yet another album this year titled ‘UY Scuti’.

Last year Olamide gave us two albums, ‘999’ and ‘Carpe Diem’ and he will be releasing ‘UY Scuti’ on the 18th of June, 2021.

He took to his Instagram story to share the tracklist of his album and stated that he made it public so that he can finally stop himself from going to the studio to record more tracks and changing the album tracklist. The album contains his current hit track ‘Rock’ and 9 other songs featuring his regular partner, Phyno, Layydoe, Jaywillz, and Fave featuring in two tracks.

Makinde urged residence to take advantage of the Oyo State Health Insurance Scheme

...Commissions High Dependency Unit at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Ogbomosho

As part of ongoing efforts to standardize healthcare facilities in the state, Oyo State Governor, 'Seyi Makinde on Monday, commissioned the newly completed High Dependency Unit (HDU) at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, (LAUTECH)Teaching Hospital, Ogbomosho.

The governor in his address while commissioning the HDU noted that the facility will provide extensive health services for individual who may need intensive care.

The governor also urged residence to take advantage of the Oyo State Health Insurance Scheme for them to enjoy a quality healthcare service delivery at an affordable rate in various health facilities across the state.

Therefore, the opening of disciplinary proceedings by UEFA is incomprehensible and is a direct attack against the rule of law that we, the citizens of the European Union, have democratically built up, while constituting a lack of respect toward the authority of the courts of justice themselves.
From the beginning, the Super League has been promoted with the aim of improving the situation of European football, through permanent dialogue with UEFA and with the objective to increase the interest in the sport and to offer fans the best possible show. This objective has to be achieved in a framework of sustainability and solidarity, especially in a precarious economic situation such as the one many clubs in Europe are currently experiencing.
Instead of exploring ways of modernizing football through open dialogue, UEFA expects us to withdraw the ongoing court proceedings that question their monopoly over European football. Barcelona, Juventus and Real Madrid, all of them more than a century old, will not accept any form of coercion or intolerable pressure, while they remain strong in their willingness to debate, respectfully and through dialogue, the urgent solutions that football currently needs.
Either we reform football or we will have to watch its inevitable downfall.

The Dean of Student’s Affairs is the representative of the Vice Chancellor in charge of Students affairs in any University. At the University of Lagos, it is not totally different from what is obtainable as it is the sole responsibility of the Vice Chancellor to appoint any Professor he or she chooses to occupy the office in his interest.

The 11th Vice Chancellor, Prof Rahman Bello appointed Prof Ademola Adeleke as the Dean of Student’s affairs in 2016 for a single term of 2 years.

On the expiry of Prof. Adeleke’s two years tenure, Prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, the 12th Vice Chancellor, had already assumed office and later renewed for a second term for another term.


The second term expired during the crises between the former Pro-Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor in the wake of 2020.

After the intervention of the federal Government and on return of the Vice Chancellor, the DSA got another extension of six month.

By our records, the six month expired in April and until now, there hasn’t been any communication or replacement for the office.

The Vice Chancellor has the prerogative of appointing a dean of Students affairs unlike other Deans that are elected.

There are lot of questions begging for answers which is, are there no other competent Professors to take over the office of Students affairs?

There are many policies of the incumbents that has generated lot of issues but due to his flagrant disobedience for rule of law and military style, it has made many Staffs and students to keep mum.

Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe is a man of the people whom God has remained with despite all he has passed through to make sure the University of Lagos gets to an enviable feat.
It is our hope that the University will consider the appointment of a new DSA, so that eminent and qualified professors can also contribute their quota to the development of the University.

MESSAGE:
As believers, there are a number of lessons we can learn from the Scripture readings of today. We see that there is a possibility of breaking down God's altar. When a child of God commits sin, he or she breaks down the altar of God. When that happens, the fellow needs to repair the broken altar before he or she can make progress spiritually, physically and materially. Elijah repaired the broken altar before he proceeded to offer his sacrifice. The result was that God answered his prayer by fire.

You must know that you cannot walk with God while dabbling in sin. In the event that you slip into sin, God does not expect you to remain in that state; you must repair the broken altar immediately like Elijah did. There are many altars in the life of a child of God that the devil wants to destroy. These include the altar of praise, the altar of prayer, the altar of faith, to mention just a few. By the time you are done repairing the altar, your insufficiency becomes history, your weakness becomes strength and the impossible becomes possible (Matthew 17:20). Don't allow the devil say otherwise to you; a broken altar can be repaired.

As you repair the broken altar of God in your life through genuine repentance today, the Lord will turn your lack to abundance in Jesus' name. When the Bible says that we are the temple of God in 1 Corinthians 6:19, it is saying something important. One of the features of the temple is the altar. The altar is very significant in worship because it symbolizes the throne of God. The altar is where God abides and does whatever He wants. It is the place where He issues decrees and orders the events that must take place in the universe. It is a privilege therefore to be the living temple of God and by extension the throne where God abides and exhibits His majesty. 1 Peter 2:5 says:
"Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ"

Your sacrifice will not be acceptable to God if there is sin in your life. Ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and repent of every act of unrighteousness now.

ACTION POINT:
Take the Inventory of your life and see where the altar of God has been broken down. Repair it by way of repentance, restitute your ways and cry to God for complete restoration.

The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba, has said Kaduna State Government under the leadership of Governor Nasir El-Rufai has hired 50 truckloads of thugs to attack protesting workers in the state.

Wabba stated this on Wednesday while featuring on Channels Television’s ‘Sunrise Daily’ programme monitored by The PUNCH.

He alleged that the governor paid N500 each to some youths to disrupt the demonstration of the workers who protested the mass sacking of civil servants in the state on Tuesday.

The PUNCH had reported that thugs disrupted the demonstration of workers in the state on Tuesday. The state workers had on Monday begun a five-day strike over the governor’s retrenchment of about 60,000 workers and the alleged anti-labour policies of the government.

The NLC subsequently condemned the attack and threatened to embark on a nationwide strike.

Speaking on the television programme on Wednesday morning, Wabba said, “As I speak with you this morning, the security agencies are already there and they (Kaduna) have hired about 50 trucks of thugs to try to invade the NLC state office where our people are already converging. Is this democracy? Even under military (regime), labour leaders, labour laws have not been violated as it is today.

“The security agencies are already there, they are taking pictures, they are recording everything, all the vehicles, all the people.


“Yesterday (Tuesday), those people that were hired to carry placards, I have the records, they were paid N500 each. In fact, I have them on record, they are youths, most of them are below the age of 17. What kind of system are we running? The press needs to ask them what are they protesting for because our people that are affected, their stories can be heard. Basically, propaganda in this case must be exposed.”

Nigeria may experience some setback in its coronavirus vaccine distribution as the Serum Institute of India (SII), the main supplier of the COVAX facility, says it may not resume export of vaccine doses till the end of 2021.

Nigeria is currently a beneficiary of the United Nations-led COVAX facility which is facilitating the procurement of vaccines for African countries.

In February 2021, COVAX had announced the donation of 16 million doses to Nigeria, although the country is currently distributing the 3.9 million doses supplied in March for the first phase of vaccination.

The AstraZeneca vaccine doses currently being distributed in the country are sourced from the SII.

Osagie Ehanire, minister of health, had said Nigeria is expecting 58 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines from COVAX and African Union AVATT platform, while Faisal Shuaib, executive director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), had said the country should receive some vaccine doses via COVAX by the end of May or in June.

But in a statement on Tuesday, SII said it will focus on boosting the vaccination drive for India as the country battles a major spike in its infection rate.

As a result of the surge in India — the south Asian country has recorded over 400,000 cases daily in recent times — several countries have responded by sending aid in the form of medicines, oxygen concentrators and ventilators.

According to SII, the decision to support other countries was taken at a time when the daily cases recorded in India were low.

“In the past few days, there has been an intense discussion on the decision of the government and Indian vaccine manufacturers, including the Serum Institute of India (SII) to export vaccines,” the statement reads.

“In January 2021, we had a large stockpile of vaccine doses. Our vaccination drive had started successfully and the number of daily cases being recorded were at an all-time low.

“Around the same time, many other countries in the world were facing an acute crisis and were in desperate need of help. Our government extended support wherever possible during this period.

MESSAGE:
Humility is key in leadership and relationships among humans. If you are humble, you will most likely inspire or lead others directly or indirectly because you will use your skills, knowledge and experience to bring people together to achieve goals. Are you privileged in any way? Be humble. Be like Jesus who left His glory above, came to be born in a manger in order to save the world from eternal damnation. Jesus was so humble that He learnt His earthly fathers business until He turned 30 and started His divine mission on earth. That is why He was referred to as the son of the carpenter. He never shouted at His dad or siblings to prove His superiority; He simply humbled Himself to learn human ways and relationships, His humility earned Him the greatest name both in heaven and on earth. Are you occupying any leadership position? Be humble; you will make more impact through humility than being bossy or rude. Don't think you are better than those you are leading, you are only privileged.

Holy Spirit, I receive the grace to be humble today.

MESSAGE:
When your results do not match your efforts, when you continue to meet a brick wall from every direction, you may be under attack from principalities and power. The good news is that God is going to deal with negative powers blocking your way to both spiritual and physical prosperity in Jesus' name.

We can draw a few things from the Scripture reading of today. One is that principalities and powers are personalities, and we must deal with them as such. Two, they are spirits, and cannot die. It will therefore take the power of God to deal with them. Every evil personality working against you shall be destroyed today in Jesus' name. Ephesians 6:12 says:
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

The Scripture above is why Paul admonished believers to put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:11). The armor includes truth, righteousness and acceptance of the gospel of peace. For evil gates to shift ground for your good, you must be born-again (John 3:3-5). Not only that, you must also live in truth and righteousness. You must be holy (Matthew 5:48). You must also take up the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit - which is the word of God, with prayer and supplication in order to be able to resist and defeat the devil (Ephesians 6: 13-18).

Beloved, for principalities and powers to lose their hold, you must allow Jesus into your life as Lord. He is knocking at the door now; allow Him in if you haven't (Revelation 3:20). I recall going to pray for a rich man to who had been afflicted. This man refused to give his life to Christ even in that state and he eventually died. My prayer for you today is that you will not be a victim of oppression; rather you will be a victor over the devil in Jesus' name. Today is the day of salvation ( 2 Corinthians 6:2). If you have backslidden, you must return and restitute your ways (Revelation 2:5).

PRAYER POINT:
Father, help me to conquer all principalities and powers blocking my blessings, in the mighty name of Jesus.
