VisaOfficer: Greetings! Your chances are excellent. In fact, unless you have a criminal history or some other ineligibility, I can't think why you'd have a problem. If you're unmarried, your mother can file for you before she becomes a citizen; if she's a citizen, it doesn't matter if you're married or single (although it will take longer if you're married). You can check out the various visa categories and priority dates at http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html .Thank u Mr VO, from the information u have given me so far, I should fall under F1 category, is that that the same as F1 for nonimmigrant student visa? And if I am eligible for F1 visa category, wat wuld be my wait time as unmarried child (over 21) of a U.S. Citizen. |
okeymen: think of the caliber of woman that has N1.8m to spare. think of the 9 months that lead to the delivery. think about the relatives that most likely would have to be there to witness the birth and care for the mother and child immediately after.....Oga! What's ur point? |
VisaOfficer: While we're at it, could someone explain the whole "spiritual pregnancy" thing to me? I appreciate your help.My VO sir, to be honest with u, there is no such thing as spiritual pregnancy. Even if it is a miracle a barren woman get pregnant. After birth, her child would definately hv DNA connecting to the mother. Even Jesus must hv had Mary's DNA. Let's call a spade, a spade. DNA test don't lie. That simple sir. |

Thanks you for educating me on the matter and thank you also for the link. I am actually not married yet, so dat puts me in F1 (I stand to be corrected). But I already have the love of my life, but we aren't married yet. |
