A HIV victim who is religious with his meds has a high CD4 count and that means, replication of the virus is halted, making the transfer of the virus almost impossible. In fact, they usually pass negative during HIV test. That doesn't mean you should go ahead and have unprotected sex, but elaborate when giving a response since it's your field.

an infected person suffers from the virus when the CD4+ count drops below atleast less than 500 then the person starts progressing to AIDS, HIV is the infection, AIDS is the Disease, so if an infected person discovers his/her status on time and goes on ARV therapy , their CD4 count is unaffected significantly as a greater number of the CD4 cells are shielded from the virus.. so as a result this set of people's immunity Aren't compromised, their body can mount immune response because of the normal CD4 count.. the virus is still there but they dont suffer from the virus.. they are just carriers and they can infect other people.. it is simple

yes an infected person that is not suffering from the virus because of medication is a carrier of the virus, as such he or she can infect none carriers in unprotected sex.

The aim of taking drugs is to keep your CD4+ cell count normal.. if these counts are normal you can never have AIDS... As these drugs will prevent your CD4+ cells from being infected and possibly reducing your viral load.

The next thing you should do is start taking fruits and vegetables that will boost your immunity to function well.. eat healthy..
