I understand how you feel, next time do proper research before buying anything, nor buy stuffs because 1 or 2 person's recommend or tell you to, beside lithium battery price are becoming cheaper these days, cheap nor mean low quality or fake capacity, many lithium batteries are even more than the stated capacity, if your battery complete then enjoy
Topper33:
Guys, Please what are your take on this:

So i have been following this tread for some time and from poplular recommendations to others , I was convinced and then I ordered and received a 3.2kwh battery from a buider on this forum. The delivery was fast, no delays. Although the set did not come with any accessories, no baterries cable etc . This was as stated by the builder. ....(only the battery box in a plastic build with a small bms screen and a button). All as advertised. So no issues there. This setup cost #550k (delivery inclusive). All i got in addition was the waybill receipt

The truth is, my friend who ordered for a 26.5v(100Ah) itel 2.5kwh battery, received theirs yesterday:
To my supprise, the itel battery Bank alone was 2.5 to 3 times heavier than mine, the setup was built in a solid steel housing case, has 3 internet communication ports, and 3 other advanced looking ports. Came with ALL the comm ports cables, also came with two 20 mm solid +/- battery cables , 3 year warrenty card, thick steel wall brackets, metallic wall screws, some addtional bolts and nuts and many more.
And all this cost #481k (including delivery fee).

Now I know why people crave the itel battery pack.

Although I have to say I over expected much for mine, but the person i bought mine from did not give me the kind of attention(as a first time customer as i would have wanted) the response sometimes was quite slow (had to literally push for any information with response coming anything it comes) no step by step on how to do much. I had to ask about value to set for bulk and float etc, Had to push and ask or most times google some stuff on my own. (I am not saying the seller did anything wrong o) but sincerly I dont think I may patronise the person in the future.I like my business partners to be approacheable irrespective of the value or amount involved in the trade......(my choice)

So, the itel on the other had virtually a full hands on manual that explains EVERYTHING you can do, clearly defined warranty card and many more quality of life stuffs you know.....

Although, I for one became a bit skeptical about the build i received (when i recall the itel heavy weight and quality) but everytime i checked the jk bms app, i showed all the cells adds up to 3.2kwh (see image). Even still, my mind still tells me I should have gone with the Itel due to its solid built, wall handing capability, solid customer and aftersales support, the quality of work and support it has.
(I thought going for "3.2kwh" was better than "2.5kwh" so i had to stop my initial itel order for the local build).

Its well sha

Forgive me for my long epistle...Just wanted to air my thoughts man.

Thanks Guys
BusinessRe: 12.5kg Cooking Gas Refill Price Increases Across All Geo-political Zones Except by osayuwamwen(m): 7:28am On May 28
me too I don't have the money, I was just buying things little by little, it took me almost a year to finish buying everything, solar nor expensive like most people they think na installer they short change people, if u have the knowledge buy things yourself, you will not only buy cheap but you will also get quality solar materials which most installer won't get you even if you give them the money to, then call installer to come installed it.
don't look at the total cost just look at the lasting benefits and control over your own electricity.I cook with mine, pump water with it and my two refrigerator are always on
Blessedarethepe:
And you think everybody has the money to buy and install that?

BusinessRe: How Much Is Cooking Gas In Your Area? by osayuwamwen(m): 8:45am On May 26
induction cooker is like electric cooker it work on solar and light bcus u can increase or reduce the power and it is way faster interms or cooking speed if u already have a big solar that can power borehole then you can be using induction cooker if u have large battery like say 5 to 8kwh upwards , instead of using gas that's expensive let the sun pay the bill
Love800:
Asin the solar aspect you made mention about.
What is the relationship between the pot and solar?
Okay. I will have a solar first before getting the pot? Cant i use nepa light for it?

Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by osayuwamwen(m): 6:59am On May 23
depend on the pump, some 1hp they get depth as high as 150metre the only thing is that e fit they take ages for the tank to full
dollarnaira:
Min 0.75hp ? grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin.
So u go install 0.75hp for a depth of 90m, chai.
Na to leave una with una reasonings oo.
You thought I would start to defend it?

I cooked with it morning, evening and afternoon I have never on my gas since I bought induction cooker for over a month now and I still they use am for 1 deep freezer and mini table fridge my wife use to sell ice block this 2 fridge are on 24hrs
adimx:
You have saved yourself the stress of unending wait on NEPA.

Ever since you upgraded to 24v, do you cook with it all round or you still use gas?
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by osayuwamwen(m): 8:48pm On May 11
so u they let yr battery full 100% u wan shorten the lifespan be that
adimx:
If so, you battery never full for once oh.
Change your charging voltage to 28.8v
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by osayuwamwen(m): 5:41pm On May 10
lol lithium is way better, the one tin I hate more in lead acid battery is the voltage sag, in lithium battery 100ah 24v battery can power a 1.5hpower submersible pump provided say the inverter fit carry am, but you can't try that with tabular battery even 4 pieces of 12v battery go still struggle to power pump, but some tabular battery like original luminous still they last long well
tziz:
Chief, nothing in this life will make me go back to Lead Acid. I'd rather buy 1.28Kwh 4th hand used Litium Iron cells than buy a brand new 230Ah Tubular Battery of the same price.
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by osayuwamwen(m): 9:35pm On May 09
no
ajabani4allah:
I mean the voltage at which it stop charging, Has it ever gotten to something like 28v and above?

you think say I they buy things anyhow I dey do proper research before spending my hard earned money on anything to burst yr bubble this battery total capacity is 8.38kwh according to the manufacturer but capacity test on YouTube show is actually more than what is stated
oloet:
You sure say no be 7.2kwh🤣
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by osayuwamwen(m): 5:27pm On May 09

TravelRe: Lagos: This Doesn't Look Like The Africa People Expect! by osayuwamwen(m): 10:57am On May 09
so bcus of skyline Lagos is not beautiful will you say the same about London and most European countries
Ghaliz:
It looks exactly like a third world downtown, terrible infrastructure, very congested, minimal rail connection , flooding, sprawling and extremely overpriced. Banana Island for the price should not feasibly exist but for the sheer volume of dirty money circulating in this country of particular concern.

Go to North Africa even East Africa and see how planned cities look like. They are third world too

Lagos has only 15 buildings 100meters and above with the tallest being only 160M so there's really no skyline to speak of
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by osayuwamwen(m): 8:42am On May 09
majority of inverter for marker are all almost same component just different branding and if u look at the price level they are all almost around same price too except they wan cheat u, and top tier inverter are very expensive, look am this way techo, itel, infinix vs Samsung, iPhone
bkuranga:
This is just wrong, bro...

Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by osayuwamwen(m): 8:18am On May 09
leave the guy him they find inverter when the fan nor they come up except on high load , him tink say hybrid and sachet inverter na same thing, I think all hybrid inverter fans is always on just that some are just better temperature controlled, there was a day rain fall the the weather was so cold, I thought my inverter fan don spoil that day I didn't even hear the fan spinning at all until I place my hand on the fan vent and I felt air blowing out
bassdow:
A lot of things are relative abi you never hear say Chicken is epensive depends on who price am.

What's noisy to you might not be to the next person. Also you both might not have installed it in samme location or have same space. I fit dey for 1 room while you dey for selfContained apartmment or flat or duplex where you have enough luxury to install far away from where you spend most time.

Once bought a phone (when I was trying to see how to break away from sonyXperia), this phone was lagging so much I couldn't use it for more than 1-day. I sold it to someone else who never had such issue. Probably because they're used to such experience whereAs I'm not. Make I no use money buy phone wey go chhange my name to Patience

Also that those inverters are mostly in same category, doesn't mean there wouldn't be subtle PROs amongst them
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by osayuwamwen(m): 8:12am On May 09
not that I want to but our transformer has be bad for more than a year now, my set up power all my needs though I still practice power management
adimx:
That's interesting.
Which means you're off grid with your setup fully ba?
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by osayuwamwen(m): 8:04am On May 09
pls i how do I disable that beep sound that comes up when pv input is coming in the morning and Going out in the evening that noise the wan gv me BP once I they hear the sound I go tink say something bad they happen to my inverter until I go close, I can't find how do disable it in settings in luxsun inverter
bassdow:
For the BEEP sound, use settings to disable it. It's one of the few first things I do aafter installing any such inverters.

As for the noise, some of those inverters are noisy Ooo. Add to it some houses are small, most have 6-inch walls, plus who knows, majority are in selfContain / single room hence have closer proximity to the inverters.
Another is, a lot of us don't wanna hear PIM so immagine what happens when Inverte come dey blow like 10HP Vaccum blower. Some go dey even sound like that alarm wey dey alert when NEPA bring light.

Even when sending Bulk emails, a single server sometimes doesn't make as much noise as some of these inverters. Most Oyinbo get basements but wetin we get na passage / corridor if we lucky enough. Those luckier to have secure balconies for installation no go tooo understand
