Akwa Ibom received N17 Billion in federal allocation and Lagos received N9 Billion and generated N382 billion in IGR by itself. As it stands, the economy of Lagos is the most diversified in Nigeria. Without oil, Lagos economy would still thrive as the financial, industrial, commercial and international hub the same way it had thrived before oil discovery.
