My yaris 2006 is giving me serious head ache. The acceleration is so poor and whenever I slow down, the trottle stops working. I will then need to trottle down completely and then the car will suddenly jump up almost hitting the car in front of me. I have taken it to so many mechanics and the first thing they each do is service the fuel pump, but the problem remains. I even had the fuel pump changed and I have spent so much. Now everyone says it is  the brain box I need to change. I just want to be sure a brain box is the solution. Thats why am sharing this. Please anyone with similar experience with yaris should please advice me on how the problem can be dealt with once and for all. My car has been parked for over a month now.

The trottle of my toyota yaris seem not to be working. Whenever I slow down, I will have to march on the accelerator completely before car can move again. It is very bad especially in terrible traffic situation. Once I use the brake, the trottle does not work. I have changed the fuel pump, changed the Electronic Control Unit ie Green board yet the problem persists.

I would appreciate it if anyone with similar experience can share it and help me with a solution.
