Ugotitan:There’s no “approval mail” sent just a refusal one. So if you’re being asked to collect Abi pick up it’s a successful application. Congratulations |
Visa Alert Submitted 12/07/24 Biometrics 19/07/24 Transferred to DMC 22/07/24 Transferred to VAC 30/07/24 Email for collection 30/07/24 Ikeja Standard Profile : Frequent traveler to the UK. Was in the UK earlier this year and Have a valid UK visit visa. Dunno if that was why mine took so long to come out or cos my marital profile changed. Submitted CAS and Admission letter Enployment letters Certificate from School TB certificate NYSC WAEC Divorce court order Affidavit of name change and newspaper publication Graduated since 2015 After I printed my statement, used part of the money to pay my IHS cos men and brethren it was red for this child of God. I needed that money . |
schweinsteiger:Congratulations. Which documents did you submit after the NSF |
Joypeacethanks:Fill your school address |
Sayi01:The nature of a student visa is different from a visit visa. For a student visa, emphasis is on “can you pay your fees and not be a burden for the pendency of your visa?” The fact that you haven’t held any formal jobs is not a crime. But claiming to be in the employ of Someone when you’re not is misrepresentation that you may not be able to justify if asked to. Do you work without a salary? Do you have payslips or a bank statement to show reciept of salary? Simply fill the truth of what you have been doing I.e the informal jobs etc |
MrSoftlife:You know what? The fact that that was your understanding of everything I said makes it pointless for me to attempt any further. |
justwise:You know what? Forget it. It’s exhausting going over the same issues . |
@heykims You know what? Stop bothering yourself abeg. All my flabbars are totally ghasted at how folks do not wish to or cannot interpret even the things that are clear. Na money to chop goat head be my problem today . And exchange rate for my flight no be free tutorials that benefits me nothing |
justwise:Hallelujah! We are finally joining issues. Material Representation: The UKVI laws (which someone screenshot and posted) asked for 1. A bank statement of 28days. 2. To be submitted within 31 days of the 28 days. That is the information submitted. Proof that I have XYZ amount on let’s say 28/2/2024. That is what the bank is asked to verify. The veracity or correctness of said statement. Can the bank pry into my statement afterwards? Please let me quote verbatim the CBN rules of Customer’s Bill of Rights and Duties ( a quick search on google can direct your footsteps) account details by the bank as well as intrusion into your account by third party. In other words, your bank must not divulge your account information to a third party; the bank must also protect your information from unauthorised access by a third party. There are, however, exceptions to this right as follows: 1. Where the bank is required by law to make disclosure; and 2. Where the customer consents to the disclosure. In 1. These are situations of fraud other other issues where a court issues an order after hearing the suit 2. A customer consents only to the extent of the statement submitted not forever and ever . If it were so , then any embassy can arbitrarily ask for updates of balances in perpetuity or even prior to the date. A customer’s consent is to the details he has submitted and for nothing else. Hence the reason for the request for reprints of statements after submission. A misrepresentation would occur when one falsifies the information he submitted. If peradventure I am issues with a visa or during the pendency of the application I need to use to touch 5k from the money to purchase airtime And then repay for school fee payment, would that be misrepresentation? Do you see how that sounds? I am well aware that Nigerians look for corners and shortcuts to circumvent the law and it would sound easier to just throw the baby of the facts out with the bath water, but that does not in any way change the facts or the law. This is not meant as a manual to teach any body unscrupulous practices but simply to correct a misinformation. If you read my earlier posts, I have said it IT IS SAFER TO LEAVE FUNDS PENDING THE APPLICATION because a visa will be refused if the visa officer is unsatisfied that the funds to support the education is unavailable if a reprint is asked for. But the declaration that a 10 year ban follows withdrawal of funds is a fallacy and untrue. Get the distinction so that you may be able to advice people better in the future |
justwise:My dear. I am a lawyer . Never have, never will attempt to tell anyone to flaunt the rules I have in no way attempted to mislead anyone. The threat of a ban is really not going to change the facts. Refer to the rules Interpret it . That is logic and facts. I have asked anyone here with a contrary view to post the applicable rules. Can you for once , stop siding with what you believe and consider for once that you may need to unlearn and relearn some stuff in life? I notice all you did was threaten me with a ban. Feel free to do that . It is not the end of the world love. Some of us actually have real lives IRL. Kindly attack the substantive issue with evidence (from the UKVI rules or any official site not here say of from questionable email sources) Any other thing is you just being Nigerian and using your power to silence any contrary view. For the avoidance of doubt , the embassy may ask for a re print , in which case it is advisable to leave the funds and have it ready to avoid the explanation of why. We have seen this happen on so many occasions. Abegi why I dey even bother my life ? Let the ones that have accused others of not looking into a book , look into the bloody book and use their brains |
schweinsteiger:For me it was something like this. I was refused under section 214(b) that I didn’t have sufficient tires |

jarule18081977:I do not think so. Because he that sins will carry his sins. If you are asked during the interview, what else will you say but the truth? They have everything on record. So be honest and don't give anybody reason to join madam wahala to your own. Sorry to use this as a learning point. To all the potential 'future liars' 5 year ban is real! #LadyG Temporary |
