Looking at the now defunct finance bill that was shut down in Kenya, you will notice the bill was meant to raise a paltry sum of $2.7b. Despite this small amount the citizens resisted it. Tinubu has raised over $8b dollars since the removal of subsidy in PMS and Electricity and yet nothing to show for it only increased spending to the legislature and judiciary while the common man is meant to wallow in abject poverty. Nigeria please shine your eyes and look beyond your geographical space. Nigeria is made up of crazy people, majority of whom are sentimental. |
BAYO ONANUGA YOU ARE A LIER |
DMerciful:Bros keep quiet and face the issues squarely. |

POV25:You are a bastard. Government sponsored. Idiot |
Well meaning Nigerians, I beg you In the name of God, let us all rise and take back our country. Our leaders mean no well for us. Please let us all join the October 1 protest as scheduled by sowore. This protest should be the master of all protest. No violence but total shutdown. |
This is the wastage you see when leaders have impoverish its people and then enrich the elite. Imagine a waste. Nigerians please shine your eyes and wake up. |
Corrupt leaders.
|
Nawa for this useless government. You claim we are spending $600m importing fuel monthly. Are Nigerians not paying for the fuel? Is the government giving the fuel to Nigerians free?? Mr Finance minister, you and your colleagues are evil people and you don’t care about the pains of the ordinary Nigerians. Let me ask you Mr Minister, how many houses did u have overseas?? |
Nothing goods comes out of Nigeria, only corruption cases and bad governance issues. |
Nigerians don’t be decieved by our evil leaders. Finals won’t bring food on our table Let us all come out and protest until subsidy is restored. Govt and governors are now richer while the average man is living in penury. Nigerians I am ashamed of you all. Suffering and smiling. Chai |
Let us all come out on the first working day of August and match to the government house in our respective state. Second part of the protest will be held in each geo-political zone. People are now looking sick due to hunger |
Guys we need to hit the streets. We need to take back our country. Our leaders have impoverished us. Time to protest for a change in government or state of emergency. Nigerians shine your eyes. Imagine a situation whereby yam is being cut and sold due to affordability |
Those of you calling me out are all ignorant. If some thugs beats soldiers, why can’t the thugs be fished out? Rather you make everyone surfer for the sin of a few. This is not rule of law. I REPEAT THIS CANT HAPPEN IN A DEVELOPED OR SANE SOCIETY. NIGERIA IS STILL A JOKE. Rubbish! |
Soldier men please go and occupy Birnin Gwari or Zamfara forest not a shopping complex where law abiding citizens conduct their legitimate business. |
This rubbish can’t happen in the developed world. There’s no rule of law in Nigeria. Simply because some thugs beat some men in uniform, you now close an entire shopping complex where law abiding citizens conduct there legal businesses. Nigeria is a shame. What is the function of our elected president. MR President pls call this rascals to other. Let the soldiers go and occupy Sambisa or Zamfara Forest not Banex plaza. |
Nigerian leaders are just after the national treasury |
Pelumi has made Nigeria proud. |
Impoverish your citizens and be galavanting up & down. Foolish leaders. |
Steal public funds and get rich in Nigeria, you wil be worshipped by even those that u oppress. In Nigeria every leader is a thief. |
This match was clearly fixed, football is an organized criminal enterprise. That referee should be slapped. |
Nigeria can never be great until we attain nationhood. Now it’s time for the Yoruba’s to enjoy. Let them enjoy. |
The solution to this is simple. Reduce the price of fuel and also reduce the exchange rate. These measures will automatically reduce the price of goods and services and also criminality will be reduced. Government is now feeding fats with plenty of money to play around with during FAAC. We remain poor because we are too sentimental to be objective & reason well in this country. We would be hailing our oppresors. Sad! |
Despite the abject poverty in the land, the eyes of Nigerians are still closed. Take a look at the huge moneys accruable to government, yet there’s no impact in the lives of the common man. Nigerians should protest for a reduction in fuel price as well as the reduction in exchange rate. This administration just robbed the ordinary citizen to make the rich & political elites richer. SHINE YOUR EYES |

KEEP YOUR YEYE CNG TO YOURSELF. NIGERIANS ARE TO GULLIBLE AND LACKS THE CONFIDENCE TO APPROACH ITS OPPRESSORS. IMAGINE REMOVING SUBSIDY WHICH BENEFITED BOTH THE RICH AND THE POOR AND TAKING THE MONEY TO EMPOWER GOVERNORS BY WAY OF INCREASED FAAC AND NOW THE GOVERNORS HAVE PLENTY MONEY TO LOOT AND CANT EVEN PAY MINIMUM WAGE |
NIGERIA IS FULL OF THIEVES. THESE LOANs WERE COLLECTED WITHOUT INTENTION TO REPAY BACK. IT BENEFITED THE HAUSA/FULANI ELITE DURING BUHARI TENURE. |
Don’t be deceived by the cosmetic and artificial appreciation of the Naira. We can only say uhuru has come when the Naira falls below 1000 to the dollar. I don’t trust this propaganda government at all. |
