Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Set To Revive Some Tax Measures In The Scrapped Finance Bill by Oshkosch: 6:12am On Aug 14, 2024
Looking at the now defunct finance bill that was shut down in Kenya, you will notice the bill was meant to raise a paltry sum of $2.7b. Despite this small amount the citizens resisted it.
Tinubu has raised over $8b dollars since the removal of subsidy in PMS and Electricity and yet nothing to show for it only increased spending to the legislature and judiciary while the common man is meant to wallow in abject poverty. Nigeria please shine your eyes and look beyond your geographical space.
Nigeria is made up of crazy people, majority of whom are sentimental.

PoliticsRe: NASS, Four Others Get ₦‎109 Billion Allocation In One Month — Report by Oshkosch: 2:11pm On Aug 11, 2024
POV25:
The increase in the allocated amount could be attributed to inflation. Inflation, which refers to the general increase in prices and decrease in the purchasing value of money, can impact budget allocations in various ways.

In the context of the National Assembly and government agencies receiving higher allocations, inflation could be a factor driving the need for increased funding. The adjustment in budgets may be necessary to account for the increased costs of running these entities and implementing projects in an inflationary environment.

Therefore, while inflation can lead to higher budget allocations to accommodate rising expenses, it is crucial for governments to ensure that the increased funds are used efficiently and effectively to address the impacts of inflation and meet the needs of the population.
@MyPOV
You are a bastard. Government sponsored. Idiot

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Has Become A Killing Field Under Tinubu – Atiku by Oshkosch: 6:21am On Mar 23, 2024
The solution to this is simple. Reduce the price of fuel and also reduce the exchange rate. These measures will automatically reduce the price of goods and services and also criminality will be reduced.
Government is now feeding fats with plenty of money to play around with during FAAC.
We remain poor because we are too sentimental to be objective & reason well in this country.

We would be hailing our oppresors. Sad!
