It really depends on the desktop specs though. A really powerful desktop is always better than it's laptop counterparts plus it's easily upgradable but if it's those 20k pentium 4 desktops at computer village men anything you see there you take it.

For mobile application I don't think so... unless you'd mod your desktop and add extra RAM and improve processor.


For web apps... yes... web apps don't need your system to have huge RAM or spec to compile and run your code.

But to code with ease in either Web or Mobile/desktop related apps... you'd need a system that's fast

i just want to give it a try... and if it makes sense then i will see how to make it more convenent

Would advice u get a laptop sha since it's mobile and you can take it anywhere with you even if you're traveling

With desktops you'd always sit at one spot

And with this job you'd be doing one thing for hours

Unless your desktop comes with a barrow you can use to be moving it about
