A photo of Christian protesters protecting their Muslim counterparts as they observed their prayers on the road in Jos, Plateau state has gone viral. The protesters had gathered this morning to participate in the nationwide #endbadgovernance protest. When it was time for their Zuhr prayers, the Muslims came together to observe the prayer at the protest ground while the Christians gave them protection. This is the Nigeria of my dream A United Nigeria

The one in existence now was newly created recently. The old SDP was disbanded after the 1993 annulment I think. I'm not holding brief 4 Tinubu o but he was in AD b4 forming his own party AC which later changes its name to ACN to reflect it is not a REGIONAL PARTY but a NATIONAL PARTY and then later to APC after it's merger with former president Buhari's party CPC. So Tinubu has always been in one party, that guy was just trying to be clever by half by deflecting the real purpose the thread was open to shift focus on Tinubu to justify his conviction. raskymonojendor: |

Peter Obi has taken a swipe at the Nigerian government over the way and manner they treat owners of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises. Taking to X, Obi shared a video of the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, visiting the stand of a Nigerian lady, Jacinta Obinugwu, an attorney and business owner, at the African Small Business event held in Toronto on Friday, July 5. He argued that if she were in Nigeria, the only visit Jacinta would have had would be from different thuggery groups of revenue agents harrassing her to pay different extortionist levy. He wrote ‘’Leadership is simply about doing the right things, encouraging and giving citizens hope, especially younger ones who are involved in Micro, Small and Medium enterprises, and MSMEs, which are the greatest engine of growth. Just yesterday, the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, was at the African Small Business Event in Toronto, visiting the various business stands and encouraging them. Above is his visit to the products display stand of a Nigerian now living in Canada, Jacinta Obinugwu, a qualified attorney who practices law by the day and engages in her small business of candle production in her spare time. If Jacinta was in Nigeria, the only visit she would get from the government would be from different thuggery groups of revenue agents harassing her to pay one extortionist levy or another. As a small business owner, she would never have the opportunity of seeing the Local Government Chairman, or any high-profile government official. Today, the MSMEs are groaning under the burden of heavy taxes, lack of access to funding, instability of government policies, high production costs and dwindling sales due to economic hardship. A committed leadership must not only reverse the unnecessary burden on small businesses but also focus on the needs of the people by caring for the poor and investing in the growth of the economy. This remains our commitment to the New Nigeria.'' Make I no talk wetin dey my mind.

Real Madrid's website has crashed following the announcement of Kylian Mbappe's long-awaited move to the Spanish club. The French international was unveiled as the newest member of the 15-time Champions League winners on Monday, June 3. The club confirmed his free transfer from PSG to the Bernabeu in a short statement. The excitement of Madridistas and the footballing public seemingly led to the club's website going down with many greeted by an error message when they tried to visit the official website of the Champions League winners. Real Madrid Mbappe agreed to take a major pay cut after signing a five-year contract, with the 25-year-old due to receive 15m euros net (£12.8m) a season at Madrid, down from the 25m euros net (£21.4m) he earned in Paris. Mbappe posted on Instagram on Monday evening just minutes after the move was confirmed, writing: 'A dream come true. 'So happy and proud to join the club of my dream. Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. Can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support. 'Hala Madrid!' He will line up next season alongside the likes of Ballon d'Or contenders Vinicius Jnr and Jude Bellingham, as well as Brazil star Rodrygo Goes and fellow new boy Endrick.
