If he made the above statement, my sister please run( unless you believes that one day "he will leave her for me". The guy is using the instrument of emotional blackmail on you. It can still work out fine between you guys....but.... be ready to beg for his love throughout.

He is not in love with you sister. He is deeply in love with the other lady. He is "keeping you" incase the other lady breaks his heart-so that you will be his emotional support.
