Nice one.
The earlier they start leaving that desert for @bokis the better.

Their economy will definitely collapse after 1st Oct because of absence of commercial activities in that region. They have made a terrible mistake they will never forget in their life.
Everybody knows that the quit notice was issued with the intention of silencing the Ipob agitation, but since they have seen that the quit notice order didn't yield any positive fruit after seeing that Ipobs are serious with their agitation, they had no other alternative than to cowardly back out.
So, quit notice withdrawal is useless because the mistake has been made. In your next world, always think before you act. Even if after break up, it's expected that Igbos should remain wherever they are if they like, after all, there are many foreigners doing their businesses here in Nigeria.
But average @boki no dey disappoint in exhibition of stVpidity.
I pity Northerners.
what we should be singing now is the song of peace and not the one of division.

I'm not in support of what the man did, but, isn't the magun supposed to kick in when the woman has extramarital affair.

If yes, then why is she scared?
Anytime magun (literally meaning 'don't climb in English) is placed on a woman by her man on the suspicion of infidelity, even the 'placer' has to abstain from having sex with the woman, the 'placee' lest he suffers the same fate with 'other' man or men
RomanceChronicles Of The Side Chick by osunra(op): 11:43pm On Feb 17, 2017
I have been reading a lot of crap these days. Men justifying having one, two or more side chicks. Men viewing cheating on their spouses as a way of life and some even rub it on these unfortunate women's faces.

This is a very sensitive issue that requires treading with caution, and I am really going to approach this, tongue in cheek. On this one, I am going to sit on the fence and base my assumptions on what I know.
Side chick, according to the Oxford Advanced Learners' Dictionary (2015 Edition) is defined as the other woman to a man in a committed relationship. See 'Concubine', 'Mistress'. Side chicks may or may not enjoy the full benefits of the wife, depending on the man in question. They are known to take over the husband completely from the wife and become the main chick, some become second wives, some of them get dumped without a conscience when oga moves on to greater side chicks and some become baby mamas. All in all, these agents of destruction are everywhere and they are ready to snatch anything 'snatchable'. There was this story of a couple that went for a drink. The woman went to the ladies; before she returned, the man was off screwing a lady inside the gents. These girls are dangerous!!

Nigerian men have fully embraced the side chick phenomenon with all their might (what do you expect? na woman matter, after all!). Their excuse? African men are polygamous in nature, so its ok to keep about 10 side chicks aside the main chick. Some men are so ridiculous, they store the names of their side chicks on their phones with names like 'Chairman', 'Mechanic', 'Battery Low', etc. These ones still fear their wives a bit, but the real monsters are the ones that flaunt the side chick in their wives' faces. I heard of a guy that said he has to receive a Mouth Action from one of his side chicks daily. Imagine!!! There was a fight that happened on the internet recently. The wife called out the side chick and slut shamed her. There have been cases of wives going to beat up the side chicks in hairdressing salons (hairdressers dey try sha!). Wives pouring acid on the Side chicks, the list is endless.

And the side chicks, instead of them to behave themselves and be collecting from the 'community penis', both in cash and in kind in peace, they will want to disgrace themselves. Some of these ladies are hell bent on having the man all to themselves, so they start scheming to 'seize the bae by force'. Some of them fake pregnancies, especially when the man in question is searching desperately for a child; some of them simply kill the man's wife and takes over, some of them give the man conditions, etc. And there are wives that are side chicks too. You think you are the main chick, only for you to find out that your dear husband has demoted you to the side chick's position... That sh*t is painful mehn!!! On this note, I'd advice, married women, snooping is highly required!! Snoop, snoop and snoop again! Until you can snoop no more! Check his wallet, his phones, his car, sniff for strange perfumes, hair, dig into his glove compartment and drawers. You are not digging for or gold, you are just protecting your territory to avoid stories that touch! #nuffsaid.

I am not saying that having a side chick for men is a bad thing or a good thing (like I said, I would sit on the fence on this), all I am saying is that do whatever rocks your boat as long as its not sinking mine. I am just pointing out the dramas and inconveniences involved in keeping a side chick and if its really worth it. Ladies, you need to have self esteem. Believe it or not, side chicks are a second fiddle, he saw you but he chose her... Let that sink in. Even if you become the main chick, your history books would never be erased that you were once a side chick. It would come to hurt you one day. And the dog would simply get another side chick to take your place. Its as simple as that.

PoliticsRe: Senator Shehu Sani Declares Assets, Says He's Worth #22m, Several Houses by osunra(m): 2:02pm On Sep 05, 2015
Am not surprised about this development. It lends credence to the fact that example is not the only thing in influencing others, it is the only thing according to Schweitzer.

With 'our' confidence in PMB ascertained, we are rest assured that the country is in the right path to 'true' growth and development. We now have a president that "gives a damns" about things that stimulate the people's confidence in the leadership.

PMB should ride on, those with him are more than those against him. Nigeria will be great again!
PoliticsNationalistic Appointments As Recipe For National Unity by osunra(op): 5:15pm On Sep 01, 2015
Nationalistic Appointments as Recipe for National Unity
In a multi-ethnic nation like Nigeria, the issue of political appointment is a sensitive one. And as such, serious attention should be given to it by the ruling elites who have signed a social contract with the people to govern them at every given period of time. Expectedly, Nigerians are watching with keen interest the unfolding drama in the appointment of political appointees, who will drive home the change lyrics of President Muhammadu Buhari. As it stands, 30 major appointments have been made, with the North coasting home with the majority of the seats - with 23 of those, leaving the rest to the South in its entirety.
From the latest wave of key appointments as announced in a statement signed by the Special adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, Mr. Babachir David Lawal, an indigene of Adamawa State was made the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, while Mr. Abba Kyari from Borno State emerged as the Chief of Staff. Other appointments as approved by the President, according to the statement, are those of Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (rtd) as new Comptroller-General, Nigerian Customs Service; Mr. Kure Martin Abeshi, Comptroller-General, Nigerian Immigration Service, while Suleiman Kawu emerged Senior Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives), leaving Senator Ita Enang, the only Southerner in the pack as the Senior Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters (Senate).
Admittedly, the regional imbalance in these appointments has been greeted with humongous public criticism and considered by many as lacking in federal character, as enshrined in the extant laws of the country. These appointments have called to question the President’s readiness to adhere to the oath of office he took barely three months ago. Many critics, especially those of Igbo extraction, maintained that the President’s total snubbing of their region in particular, is a deliberate attempt to ‘punish’ them for not voting in his favour in the last electioneering. In fact, they believe the untoward trend will continue unabated due to the ‘hatred’ the President has always had for the Igbos. Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohaneze Youth Council did not mince words in their condemnation of the lopsided appointments: “We stand to condemn this glaring hatred for Ndigbo by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. We recall that apart from several other appointments, Buhari’s government has also appointed Service Chiefs and in similar manner, he sidelined the South east zone.” I for one find these sectionalized appointments ridiculous and unexplicable, as it is not in line with the spirit and letter of our constitution.
I must confess that I do not envy the job of the President’s publicity team. The duo of Mallam Garba Shehu and Mr. Femi Adesina, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity and Special Adviser on Media to the President respectively, will in the coming days have their cups full rationalizing the President’s decision to ‘leave out’ Ndigbo in his bid to ‘purify’ the nation of the self-inflicted ailments that have rocked it for eons. It seems to me that their initial defence of Mr. President having over 500 appointments would amount to naught if key appointments keep going to the North. Without being economical with the truth, the actions and inaction of the President leaves no one in doubt about his bias and preference for his people. However, there is still room for the Igbos and indeed other southerners to be placated in the much awaited ministerial list billed for September, by handing to them a good number of ‘key’ positions to make up for the initial snubbing of the region.
It is obvious that Nigeria’s democracy is still grappling with the winner-takes-all mentality of the political class. Come to think of it, the North did not single-handedly bring Buhari to power. It took the swift political collaboration with the South west for Mr. President to achieve his decade-long dream of presiding over affairs of the country - a feat that eluded him when the South west pitched their tent with the PDP-controlled Federal Government. And this is in spite of his cult-like followership in the North. As an elder-statesman himself, and one who should understand the intricacies of the Nigerian state owing to his compelling experience as a former military Head of State, the recurrent issue of political marginalization, tell-tales of ethno-religious chauvinism, widespread distrust and suspicion of the ruling class among other challenges, should have made his administration all-embracing. But rather, he seems to be justifying the reasons he was consistently ‘antagonised’ by some quarter of the country, “on the basis of his antecedents as an ethno-religious bigot, akin to the proverbial leopard that never sheds its spots.”
On whether or not political appointments should be based on merit, federal character or as the prerogative of the President, I daresay that it will be in the interest of national unity for us to stick to the dictate of the constitution, by ensuring that every section of the country is entrusted with a major role in the day-to-day administration of the country. Our nascent democracy, still apparently crawling at 55, is not ready for anything short of that. In the United States, for instance, it is common knowledge that party differences count for nothing in the formation of government. Opposition plays pivotal roles in government. The Barrack Obama / Hilary Clinton consolidation quickly comes to mind. Nigeria will get there someday!
The philosophy and principle of federal character in a country like Nigeria is plausible. This plausibility emanates from the fact that it helps sustain the corporate existence of our nation, by a way of giving the different components a deep sense of belonging. The president and his handlers should know that electioneering has ended, with the people’s patience wearing thin on daily basis. What should be uppermost on the agenda should be to strengthening the unity of the country with the instrumentality of the power at their disposal. As a matter of fact, this political onslaught on the South presents this administration as having a narrow view and understanding of the country, fuelling the speculation that they are acting out a ‘northern agenda’. Of course, this portends a great danger to the socio-political wellbeing of our country.
One incontrovertible fact about Nigeria is the gargantuan and qualitative resources scattered across the land. More so, there is no Local Government Area out of the 774 in Nigeria that is not blessed with individuals with ‘snowy’ records, who can ably contribute to the ‘cleansing’ of the country. It is on this basis, that intellectuals, who know their onions, and have proved their mettle over the years, unite to condemn the ‘clannish sentimentalism’ that foregrounds the recent key appointments of Messrs Buhari, who, according to many has eaten the forbidden fruit, as against the constitutional commandments.
As a man with a general perception of integrity, is President Muhammadu Buhari directly or indirectly saying that the galaxy of stars in the South are not good enough for him to pick from? Or is the South completely bereft of men and women of integrity, who are ‘appointment - worthy’? If the answer to these questions is in the negative, why then has it been difficult for him to tap into the avalanche of rich human resources in the South? Or could it be that his recent appointments are a way of ascertaining a northern hegemony? These questions require urgent answers.
If Nigeria were a nation, in the real sense of the word, these latest appointments would not have generated any controversies. I cannot agree more with the succinct opinion of Banji Akintoye in his August 27th, 2015 article published in The Nation newspapers titled: “Buhari must initiate process for dealing with Nigeria’s fundamental problem”. The veteran columnist believes that “…our country’s most important need is to find ways to be a stable country – to find ways to make our hundreds of nationalities live together in reasonable harmony as members of one country.” Nigeria’s multi-ethnicity should not be a barrier as other multi-ethnic countries like India, Switzerland and even Britain have had to do the needful. Doing the needful, according to Akintoye would “…mean that we must consciously nurture a culture of respect for every nationality, large or small. It means that we must be committed to a true federation, and to a federal structure and order based on respect for our nationalities.” The problem of our country is hinged on our collective inability to come to term with the yearnings of the various segments of the country. This is a subtle call on the President to see the entirety of the country as his constituency.
No doubt, President Mohammadu Buhari has started on a good note. I strongly believe that he has good plans for the country, which all and sundry are proud to support. For the first time, Nigerians are beginning to feel the impact of government on every facet of their lives. However, the President should not take the people for granted. As contained in the preamble of the constitution, he should fight to ensure that Nigeria stays together, by making sure he carries everyone along in his government. This is the time for him to prove that he is the father of the nation.
