Well I use to say this generation is anti-academic. I dont think its only Nigerian students that dont want to go to school.

This is a great effort by The Nigeria Union of Jounarlists, Ogun state council. The newspaper was established by the missionary, Reverend Henry Townsend, according to him was created to educate the Egba people and the Yorubas at large. Before he started publishing political issues, press historians said the mission of the newspaper was purely evangelistic, anti-slavery and philantrophic. These, of course, are good things. I hope this newspaper still gets to educate the public and should fight for the rights of the public too.
Welcome back Iwe Irohin. I know its a while that you have been back now but 140 years of demise is a pretty long time. Anyone could have bet that you were gone forever.
