Havent been able to get 3g on my mtn since last thursday and my area used to have great 3g on mtn. Called customer care. They were clueless. Now using etisalat. Constant 3g

HOLLASLYD: Go through ya mobile metwork settings, select your network mode to WCDMA ONLY or 3G only I don't know how it's written on n3. I don't use n3.
After that, you will be locked at Wide Code Division Multiple Access. If u still dont have 3g, just know that the coverage went on holidays and will be back in a jeffe

Gentlemen i need your assistance. I did a factory reset on my phone as part of upgrading my memory card from 8 to 16GB. Now when i switch to 3G it shows the H symbol but immediately i try to connect to any site,the H disappears. This made me anxious so i did another reset but the same issue remains. On Edge,it connects without causing the disappearance of the E. It browses fine on Edge. What could be the problem(the network,damage from the reset)? More importantly what do you advise i do to solve it? This problem started at about 11pm last night. Thanks for your input

I've been using it for 2 days now. Before I activated it I called customer care 3 times and spoke to 3 different represenatatives who gave the same breakdown. I haven't used up to 3GB yet but I'm confident it's unlimited from the multiple statements from reps. I'll let you guys know if it turns out to be a lie

The mtn BIS to 21600 is 1500 and it is unlimited. The BBC to 21600 is data capped at 3GB and is 1000 naira

Also for those in Benin my 3g has been on and working all day. I live off country home road off sapele road. I've had it on all day because I'm running a comprehensive battery stamina test on my n3. Discharged the phone at 10:26am at 100% charge. With 3g active, 3hours playing music, light browsing(nairaland, goal. Com), consistent WhatsApp use, the battery is presently at 70% as I type. Plan to run the test for a week. I'm impressed with today's performance
