Kreativ: I wasnt at the second briefing. But we were abt 120 at the first briefing. I guess it should add up. Do u hav any reason to believe otherwise?

@ Kreative no I don't. I was told the same for 1st briefing too. 2nd briefing was about 25. Am told in total only about 140-150 scholars for now out of 200+ slots a year. Well God is in control. Thanks, I really appreciate ur response. All the best.

You are by this notice requested to collect your award letter from the Directorate of Education, Health & Social Services, NDDC Head office, 167 Aba Rd. Port-Harcourt on the 19th of July 2013. Please come with your International Passport for Identification. Congratulations"

university? YES, Should be their selected schools in the UK

2. Supposing ur intending university has given
u a tuition discount/scholarship or reduction,
What will happen? 1,discount: NDDC will pay the remaining and the left off will be wired to your UK bank account
2, Scholarship: If you have a scholarship with another body, then you need to go for one "Quote: you can't eat from both side. 3, reduction: Apply to number 1 answer
What You need to know is that, All Nddc selected schools has 10% discount for all scholars.

3. Are there any considerations whatsoever e.g like THE OGA'S AT THE TOP? I DON'T know about THIS PLEASE

I wrote the scholarship test the first time and i wasn't called cos i didn't meet up with the cut-off mark! my second attempt, I did excellently well, because i was very much prepared for the test, interview and more...
Prayers/Faith is the master KEY.

All i have to say to all is that: “Never give up on what you really want to become. The person with big dreams is more powerful than the one with all the facts.”

I believe we all will meet at the top. Keep on keeping on, No matter how long it will take you to reach the TOP

examexpert: Yes, the director of education did mention so (She is highly intellectual). But am not fully sure as she may be kidding to use this trick to send out some candidates who came without invitation.
But all successful candidates names where on the list as i saw it as i signed my N10,000 thank you for coming cash. lol

It went very well. I must congratulate NDDC for a good job as everything was free and fair. The director of education and assistant director did excellently well by answering all questions from scholars.

I arrive NDDC office 9:48am and we all had to show the evidence of the text and mail we got before we could enter.

Briefing, Presentation and all processing plus signing was very much ok.

We shall be expecting to hear very soon from NDDC

akinwole21: thanks everyone. the briefing went well,Msc students were given specific schools to change to as NDDC is partnering with these schools in order to get tuition discount which ll b a plus to scholars. about calling others, it was mentioned that they will contact some pple but i donno much about that. we had transport allowance and snack. i did not encounter any challenge as regards the call i received yesterday. we were also told that the letters will be ready in 2-3 wks. i hope this is helpful. thanks once again

Congratulations to all invited scholars. Please I heard that there is going to be another briefing next week....date unknown yet. Pls can anyone confirm this? Will it be for another set of scholars or for those already invited?

I read about it in another forum. Someone wrote to the person who sent the email, saying he/she may not be able to make it this Friday. The person got a reply saying that there will be another briefing next week date unknown yet.


Pls those of u invited eg EXAMEXPERT, pls help us verify. Pls don't abandon us now u have been contacted. May God continue to lift those invited higher and higher.

Thanks Examexpert for all the info and support. Pls how certain is your internal info source with regards to the release of names this week or next week. Is it your assumption or an info. I assumed the same too. To be honest, I am just tired of waiting....Cheers. .

You guys should wait, from internal info. All NDDC state commissioners traveled out of the country to visit scholars in their various schools. So, hopefully names should be out this week or next week.

DNA1: na wa oooooooo...please does any one have any idea what time of the year, the list came out last year? because all these scholarships tend to follow the same 'time table' every year

DNA1... I don tire oh!!!.. last year the application deadline was March 31. This year January 31. Aptitude test last year was June-july, this year April. Basically everything about the 2013 application and process was early.
God will give us a testimony this week. We need the scholarship letter for our Visas and stuffs. Pls does anyone know any number we can call to find out the situation.?? @wandey14, examexpert, DNA1,

Grxtnex: I scored 27. I haven't got no sms yet. My guess is they are doing it state by state; Rivers state people are most of the people getting the SMS. Right?

Can't really say. I know one person from Edo who has been invited. He scored 27. All is well.
