afeeztyler: I NEED ANSWERS So I have a starlink mini that is mounted at my place in Ibadan, just today I got a notice that I will need to attend a training in Lagos from March 2nd till sometime in April (6 weeks). Now I want to know if my Starlink will work there or I shouldn't bother myself taking it with me Has anyone tried it before? If you’re on the residential plan, don’t bother taking it with you |

morikee: Omo mine still not ship since 2nd December The only possible explanation to this may likely be that they don’t have any available unit in store and might still be expecting new shipment from their US office. |

senator282: Wow that's the fastest delivery i have ever seen in my entire life, did you ever contact Starlink support before the order was shipped? Mine is still showing Not shipped yet. Nope I didn’t contact support. I believe it was because they had units available in store and my unit was shipped from dhl warehouse in Apapa which is just a few minutes drive to my location in surulere. |

COZA: can i get a starlink and subscribe for december and january then pause subscription till another december? any penalties or extra reconnection cost incurred? I believe you can without any extra cost incurred, as long as you’re not in Lagos or any other state that is currently filled up. |

ask4bk: Grok ai that i use every day? How did grok ai send you new kit? Or you mean starlink support ? Pls help me understand. And congrats oh for new kit. We still de gen 2 here 🙆🏾♂️ When you click on contact Starlink support in your Starlink app, the first line of contact is grok ai. It’s only when it cannot find a solution to your problem, that’s when it will link you with a real person for further assistance. Thanks oo. Starlink gen 3 make sense, just that one has to source for the mount from temu or Aliexpress unlike the gen 2 that has everything in the box from factory. If your gen 2 is still working perfectly, I see no reason in wanting to get the gen 3. |

georgee: My brother.. I dey your shoe so.. I complained to Support that the speed am getting on my Gen2 no be am.. Support checked it and concluded that something must be wrong with my Gen2 router.
Last Thursday, they wired me free 1 month sub for my inconveniences and sent down full Gen3 Kit via DHL at no zero cost. It arrived on Tuesday ie from Thursday - Tuesday and. They advised me not sell nor give away my full Gen2 Kit (Infact, i still get extra 75m network cable for Gen2 inside ita carton). Dunno wat to do with it sef . To mount, u will need to buy pole mount bracket (see pix below) which I ordered from Aliexpress. I hope to receive it down next week. I already have a long pole i plan on using to permanently mount the Gen3 dish
I am still managing my Gen2 stuff till my pole mount bracket arrives
In summary, u need a pole mount bracket. Order am now now Thanks a lot I will place the order for the pole mount right now as well. Will just have to source for a pole once the mount arrives. Na airtel 20Mbps I dey manage like this till when I get my new kit and I’m able to mount it outside. |

My Starlink gen 2 went offline just this evening and has been throwing the error message STARLINK UNPLUGGED OR REBOOTING. Decided to send a message to support and Grok ai decided on its own to send me a new gen 3 kit for free after it tried to communicate with my Starlink gen 2 unit and it couldn’t all in less than a few minutes of chatting with it (Grok ai). Elon musk you do well ooo.
My problem now is how to mount it once the gen 3 unit arrives. |

ask4bk: Why do you want to ship to a customer in Niger when you know starlink is officially out in Niger and they can get it (Gen3) there at far cheaper price. You just wanna get profit? Just advice the person to go to the site and order if you love him over money Lolz |

ask4bk: 😁😁. God abeg oh. I need that v3. Time will come v2 people will be crying for support to get replacement parts but they can't due unavailability like it happened to v1 people in the US. They were forced to move to v2. Now everyone will be forced to move to v3 after some years of usage.
I need that v3 in Nigeria before March ends V3 no go enter naija till may/June IJN AMEN |

ask4bk: Good news is that West Africa is now being officially introduced to starlink v3 and mini devices with residential and residential lite services. This has been officially opened for Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
Bad news is that Nigeria and Benin Republic are still not considered yet. Both countries are still blocked from new subscribers awaiting for v3 to be officially introduced for them. Only then will the new monthly price of 75k take effect. Hopefully it'll happen this month.
Shalom. Well if that is what will make the new price take effect, I hope, infact I pray it doesn’t happen this month or next |

georgee: What does the small device do.. Will i be able to carry it like a mifi connected to my main starlink account? It’s just a mini version of the Starlink v3 dish and too big to even fit one’s pocket . It still has to be outside facing the sky like the normal sized dish and still needs an external power source to work because there is no internal battery. Although the good thing with it is the router is also inbuilt into the mini dish, so it makes it quite easy to carry along to different locations or install in a car like I’ve seen in lots of YouTube videos.
