Good news for Lionel Messi but bad news for Ronaldo
Barcelona have been handed a huge boost after Lionel Messi returned to training ahead of derby clash against Espanyol but rival Cristiano Ronaldo is not so lucky as Juventus confirmed he will miss the next three Serie A games.

Both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo returned for their national team respectively after about eight months away from international duty. The two football icons haven’t played for their national teams since Portugal and Argentina went out of the World Cup last year.

However, they both made their return during the last international break but it was shortlived. The duo picked up injuries in the game against Venezuela and Serbia respectively which made them major doubts for their club’s games.

However, Barcelona has revealed Lionel Messi’s injury is not that serious and has returned to training. But Ronaldo will have to miss Juventus next three domestic games.
