Same thing happened in Rivers state in 2014. Then Governor Ameachi objected to the use of the stadium and even gave an alternative stadium, the Liberation stadium, but the Federal Government used superior might and the stadium was forcefully used against the state government's wish.

The excuse then was that the federal government owned every part of Nigeria and so no one could stop it from using any government facility it wishes to use.

Now tell me, what's the difference between the two scenarios?
