I don't know how much they pay maids, but I'm sure it doesn't come cheap.....
There was a time I wanted employ the services of a maid to wash my bathroom regularly....
I was told it's going to cost me 20 pounds per hour....
I did the job myself.....

Living in maids exist and it can be got through Agencies but they care only for the children, EU nationals especially Romanians largely do this.

Kindly relate their own version of the circumstances. Most Nigerians in Uk prefer to use househelps from the Agency who are mostly Romanians or Polish.
