The Nigerian mentality is one of war which is to pillage. Extortion, lies and theft are now common place - worse of all is the proceeds are used on non tangibles like weed and beer.

I like your argument, people should come up with tangibles when making accusations, the ARD president may very well be the CMD in years to come and we will still he hearing this.

The consultants there are part of the problem, they see the cmd steal from the hospital and they are scared of facing him
The consultants can't do much except those in mgt like HOD, CMAC, Deans, etc so they hope that the CMD tenure expires and a "better" one takes over but alas most times the "worse" takes over.

Reliably informed that the chief medical director wants to run away with over 2 billion naira owed the staff in salaries.
The CMD is most times appointed from amongst the doctors yet they always fail to provide basic services of a teaching hospital, they allegedly enrich themselves and immediate family and move around with mobile police.

Autopsy will most probably be inconclusive, a public enquiry will cost tax payers money. If the guy is so convinced, let him approach the medical and dental council or the court of law.

The hospital it appears is liable for conducting a second surgery without consent.

Finally human error is always a possibility even in advanced countries tho quite rare.

Nigerians are the cause of their own wahala, prices go up and not down. The government should set up a price board to keep prices in check.

Lord knows I no fit born pikin for this country.

In the West, maternal mortality is a thing of the past.

but in Nigeria, women die every day through child birth. This hospitals are not capable of foreseeing or fixing complications.
I know of a colleague who went to US to deliver, she is back now but lost the baby, it was an eye opener.

Yet till now no effect has been made on goods in the market. People that were quick to skyrocket prices due to dollar hike are now sluggish to journey along with the dollar. An average Nigerian is a rogue.
They will say that the old stock they bought at high dollar has to be exhausted. Government has to create price monitoring boards to force prices of goods and services down.

This is why I believe that as bad and poor as Nigeria is, any loafer found with earings, tattoos or braided hair should be hung by the balls.

Do you want to live, dress and act like American hoodlums? Well...the American Embassy is not too far.

People do not want to work or be responsible for anything yet they want to live large, until Nigerians start questioning the source of wealth these kinds of things will continue to increase.

The justice system should waste no time in sending those trio to the next world by hanging, kudos to SARS and neighbors that tipped them off.
