From my small visit to the environment many of the inner lanes don't have proper roads with street names so if you report a robbery by phone to 112 (the state toll free security line) before police will leave their functional stations of either choba or isiokpo and get down there - God just has to help you or simply just surrender all that you have to the robbers because not less than 90 minutes is going to pass before you start hearing the siren. Some areas are simply not accessible no thanks to the very bad roads - this is the case of umuchuolu area, Nigerians are suffering o, especially in the rural interior areas. AMAECHI built one of the clinics on that road and even to get a baby down there for immunization is such a tedious process, the people are praying for dry season to come fast. |
cwashpam: Pls could someone be kind enough to send the video to cwashpam@gmail.com.why do you want to watch the video? don't mind me, wait for chic2pimp he will give it to you. |
freecocoa: Nobody is determining anything but truth be told, from what people who have seen the video are saying(you inclusive)the crimes of those boys is no longer the question, I don't get how a normal human being can take another's life in such gruesome murder. Even the law doesn't kill people like that, those boys shouldn't have to suffer that much especially with no proof that they were criminals. Its just really painful, since I saw those pictures, sleeping hasn't been all that fun cos I swear I see the faces of those boys and the pain in their eyes, just leaves me wondering how the people that killed them sleep at night, especially the guy in the sweatshirt, tufiakwa.please i have not said the purported crimes of those boys is no longer the question, i have not yet said with all the purported misdeeds of GEJ that the purported crimes of ABACHA is no longer the question. You guys should come and interview victims of armed robbers and kidnappers in the aluu area; get of your high horse. This country must progress in truth and fairness. i have also not watched or seen the video |
@seunajia The unreserved apology would come after the government inquiry is concluded disproving all the theories currently being paraded which will in effect give an official historical event of what transpired. Jungle justice is bad and so also is kidnapping, armed robbery and cultism. |
Obinoscopy: Why don't you send it to CNN via ireport on their website let the whole world see our brutality here in Nigeriaand after they see it would that make you a better Nigerian? You are probably one of those with dual citizenship so it would not bother you. |
@bliss4lyfe you have started twisting words, typical of a biased human being. A judge decides a case not if a crime outweighs another. |
Bliss4Lyfe: I don't have the stomach for such decadence, hence pics are gruesome enough for me and to those of u here trying to sit on the bench and give every excuse under the sun to justify the action of those muderers have failed, becos their crime now out weighs whatever those boys are accused of.So you are now the judge to determine that one crime outweighs another, good luck to you, yes - let justice run its full course, very up for that. |
thegoodjoehunt: No one is saying a life is better than another. We are advocating that they should have been given a fair hearing. No matter how evil you try to paint what they might have done, they might be totally innocent. I wonder why people can be so wicked to their fellow humans.Oh yes its possible they might be totally innocent but God is on the thrown and does not allow things happen this way? Do you know how many police vans it was reported that drove by and did not stop to disperse the mob who claimed they had caught armed robbers? Still repeat that many of us in here in Nigeria staying in such comfort urban zones are loosing touch with reality, things are really going bad and there is no outlet so people are bottling up and one day God forbid when the people explode, this is how they would take it out on the politicians and in that day the military will just sit by and watch. |
kenostika: I blame the majority of uniport students for allowing such humiliation.I can't remember when such incidence occured in any university with well known cultists and criminals.A real cultist/robber won't give in or surrender willingly the way these guys did.Aluu villagers and elders should apologise and pray for forgiveness, the whole world is against them. This is the worst mode of killing i have ever seen, even James Holmes was given a fair chance.Who is James Holmes? You would have said Saddam Hussein, still repeat that some of you here are definitely not in Nigeria and have lost touch with the reality on ground by your many months of absence. |
realistically: Good evening everyone, this is my first time here and i set up this account this evening just to comment on this thread....I never comment on sites...I read and move on but I had to say something on this one.....particularly because of otokx.I schooled at the university of port-harcourt and i worked there part-time before leaving port-harcourt 2 yrs ago and i lived in aluu very well,Infact my community service in year 2 was a project at Omuokiri.Otokx, the speed at which you jumped to conclusions about these boys made us believe you knew very well, conclusively, without any doubt that these were the boys terrorising aluu!your comments were very very rash, callous, lacking any basic evidence....if these boys Rob me anywhere in aluu....I'll recognise them once...these faces are the kinds you will remember very well. The first pics I got were the bloodied ones, but when i saw them cleaned up and all, these kind of faces stick (and these boys never stay uniport pass 3yrs,them too small!!!)Years ago at aluu,we couldn't sleep, every night these aluu boys will come and raid hostels...killing security men almost every week....from the genks, shepherd villa,"green villa"....even the hiltons...the way they attacked students we all knew they were indigenes cos no student,I repeat no student or group of students can Rob in aluu village and go without the indigenes been part of them...what did aluu ppl do then??am talking about 2009/2010 o...if u lived in aluu around this time....u know what i am saying...what did the aluu ppl do?Around that same time militants were camped at d man o' war camp at aluu.....over time they started robbing students and aluu indigenes...One bloody day all the militants came out......we couldnt count our losses then....from raping girls to destroying shops to looting, destroying houses owned by these same aluu ppl...all those isiewu joints u are talking about now...them no get liver open that tym na?when militants dey?what did this same aluu ppl do that time?its a rule, once you recognize armed robbers that robbed you then its either of 3 things, you either relocate from that area and leave the armed robber to God, stay in the area and ensure the armed robber goes to meet God, or have the armed robber send you to meet God. You can't compare militants with civilian criminals so don't start raising up those issues. It is because those boys are from middle class to rich homes that people are saying they are innocent (and they are because no court of law will find them guilty now that they are dead) but lets stop the hatred and accusation of the villagers. Criminality in Nigeria is on the rise and that is what we should be thinking of how to reduce. |
@everyone good night, need to hit the ground running tomorrow, whatever happened to those boys in a university in the south east that gang banged a certain damsel? Hope this does not turnout to be like that? |
some of you guys are already acting like the mob? not asking what if these..... are actually innocent/guilty of what they say? That is where education comes in, their fancy pictures and testimonies of friends who were nowhere to be found at that time. Its only 50 naira bike and a time of 10 minutes maximum from the garage to the village where this thing happened? why did not all the people talking now rush to go and save the situation, mind you not saying the boys were guilty. |
Nigerians with different info; which do we follow now? I saw this news online another site and it was said the guys were not caught in the act but the stolen items (phones and laptop) was seen in their posession. Without investigation by villagers in Aluu community they were beaten tired up and were later burnt to death. Even if those guys were caught in the act (stealing), who is more dangerious to the community? The man who stole or the man who had the guts to kill a fellow man for stealing without remors?
there is a lot of info flying around the place, from what it appears its accumulated and then misdirected anger over previous robbery incidents that was brought upon this boys who were at the wrong place, at the wrong time and may or may not have had some other anticedents so if someone is owing you does that give you a right to go and fight him by 5.30am in the morning? if some of the tales are anything to go by |
phlame:where the boys in the mafia? |
good job chic2pimp |
@all my bundle plan is low so it wont be easy for me to send the video for now. |
ositadima1: What d Bleep!!! how inhumane can some people? why dont u just kill me? Why degrade and humiliate me? These are animals, i am sorry for naijaMe too sorry for naija |
you went to sleep in somebody's house early morning by 5.30am you enter road that you are going to Lagos or Kafanchan, some people try for gist o. The person you went to see did not excort you to enter okada, chai... people are easily deceived. |
monkeyleg: I pray Governor Ameachi follows this case to a Just end.He would like to but if the facts become a bit embarrassing he may just let it die a natural death. |
nadine07: @ otoks @ pdude pls can you guys send me the video oohhhhhh joanphilps@yahoo.comget it from chic2pimp o, run out of bandwidth here, you know my tour of duty here ends tomorrow. |
Nebeuwa: Real truth or not, this mob should not have been judge, jury and executioner.Truth be told a lot of you are not in NIGERIA |
Another respondent to the theory of error in jungle justice narrated how his younger brother was arrested by police in the aftermath of the kidnap of a politicians wife along the east west road. The used in conveying the lady was sighted abandoned in Aluu and as a result the police raided the area carrying boys who appeared to be loitering around the place. If you could not explain in 1 minute who you were and what you were about straight inside the vehicle, anybody smelling of Indian hemp no questions were bothered to be asked. If you plaited your hair or and wore an ear ring the same thing, now the younger brother of the respondent usually plaited his hair and he actually came to write JAMB which was in 10 days time but it was not to be. In the end the father had to visit the police headquarters at Moscow road before the guy was eventually free. |
chic2pimp: IMO that 30 minutes video pretty much painted the true picture of how the 5+ hours ordeal went. Its only a matter of time when the real truth will come out, those residing in the area and indeed the university campus have a feel of the situation. Things like this happen every 2nd semester they say. Till then however the debate continues |
its easy to side with the "students" and point fingers at the villagers, yes jungle justice is not right as it can lead to errors but then there are some particular signs. For someone to claim its not safe in the school campus speaks volumes and then goes to sleep in his friends house in Aluu not Alakahia or Rumuekini says it all. |
Chic2pimp the videos do not amount to 30 minutes, from the time they were caught till when they died some say its up to 6 hours so it cannot give a full picture |
There are always two sides to a story, people are saying villagers this and villagers that, look at the stories closely. |
@Nebeuwa you said it who the hell cares? |
Siena: Man, reading this brought a tear to my eye. Those poor kids are gone forever, and all for what?cross reference with what playahp said and a picture is now building, this boys were in a place they have never been to. |
Siena: You've lost me, i haven't the faintest idea what you're on about. The boys according to our guy here were going to overthrow their don who got wind of it and took off leaving his ADC who they met and who they recognized. Their ADC tells the boys that Oga go next door make i go call, make una wait for me and dey wait cos they know themselves, the ADC now goes and alerts community vigilante that this boys are armed robbers. The vigilante come without the ADC who has run away to arrest and then send the boys to their graves. The boys will say they came to see so and so but the so and so is nowhere to be found to identify them as his visitors meanwhile you do not go to do such things with bare hands. This is the tale as told by playahp. |
Ibime: Another account. . . .nice account, but the usual cult alibi, collecting of money from someone who is owing them? meeting by chance with other friends coming from an unknown destination, campus accommodation is the safest accommodation in UNIPORT so it still does not all add up. If they were good Christians then thank God they would be at peace now |
chic2pimp: They definitely did not. Anyone who has seen the video would at least tell that much. The video does not give a full picture of what really happened, but for playahp we will not have looked at it from that angle. The whole thing is a bad job gone bad |
Siena: Bro, go easy. At least some of those that were adamant these boys deserved to die the way they did, are seeing things differently, at long last. What did Babangida do to Vasta and Orkar that wanted to overthrow him? |
