Secessionists imagine that they will be able to sell these wares to the world, and don't need the Nigerian market. But they are seriously deluded. Countries are putting up protectionist barriers to build their own local industries. Others like China, have comparative advantage in manufacturing, and will leverage that to start price wars if need be, lowering them to stave off any competition.

Many buying countries would simply prefer the familiarity of Italian or even China made products, and would shun new, unproven stuff from some little African country.

Bottom line: For these Eastern industries to thrive, and take off to the next level, THEY NEED THE NIGERIAN MARKET.

Nigeria is projected to become the world's THIRD most populous nation after China and India by 2050.

That is MARKET on a world class scale which Igbo manufacturers can have FIRST ACCESS TO BEFORE ALL-COMERS, if they play their cards right, and remain in the federation.

That FIRST ACCESS to the Nigerian market is already happening slowly, as groups like INNOSON and others get government supply contracts. INNOSON even supplies the Nigerian Airforce with equipment now.

As we approach 2050, the Igbos could become the richest ethnicity in all Africa, and among the richest on earth, if they remain...Nigerians.

A word is enough for the wise.

While the crude oil producing Niger Delta shares it's proceeds with the whole country. Pathetic

I met a girl in my Department who I really admired... When I got closer to her, I learnt many things.

Pleasse use your locality, i can just inteligently omit some things.,,,, its just about the ideas.
The lecturer did a little explanation though, he said
Labour distribution means different occupations of people in a society. life in local places, where farming and fishing and hunting are occupations. and he also gave a clue on the social functions so as prestige of these occupations.... but that can't fiil five pages.... please your ideas needed.

i was a christian, but converted to ECKankar three weeks ago, i will be a month old by friday. i haven't visited the ECK temple for the first time and hopefully would do that this sunday. as a new member of this wonderful religion, i face daily challenges from my friends and family, criticising the religion and threathing to discriminate me.... although i am not moved by it, i am ready to face more and very good of note that I am strong and still do my prayers everyday. i want to know more, to feel along and to communicate with my fellow eckists.
