You're trying to confuse people with fake statistics.
1. Tell us what percentage of qualified applicants from Imo state or the SE vs those actually in service. If 100,000 apply from Imo, and you hire 6000, that will be 6% hire rate. Now if 1000 apply from Sokoto, and you hire 700, that's 70% hire rate. Remember the NNPC figures that showed managers from every region? That was fake too. That's why it's criminal for corrupt Hausa officials to insensibly publish this sort of figures.
2. Also tell us what year these figures are coming from ( I bait it's probably from Shehu Shagari era)
3. Tell us representation of states in every level, because that's another way of keeping people from the south permanently as junior workers while less educated northerners fill the management cadre.
You can't flash stats when you are an illiterate. Abeg get lost and shut your dirty mouth. The fact of the matter is that Pigdiots have the lion-share when it comes to slots in the Federal Civil Service. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Nigerian army raids newspaper depots
7 June 2014
The Nigerian army has carried out raids on distribution centres handling several of leading national newspapers. The newspapers said their delivery vans had been searched and vendors questioned across the country, and copies of the papers destroyed. The move has been condemned as censorship by the newspapers and international media groups. But defence officials said it had been a routine security operation and denied confiscating copies. The Nigerian government and President Goodluck Jonathan are facing public pressure to do more to tackle a bloody insurgency by Islamist Boko Haram militants in the north. ADVERTISEMENT
The group has attacked the army, media and civilians, and staged kidnappings including that of more than 200 girls from a school in Chibok in April. The raids come days after Nigeria's Information Minister, Labaran Maku, warned the media not to give "free publicity", saying they must "define the lines between the urge to report and the need to protect the interest of our nation". 'Orders from above' The Leadership, Punch, Nation, Daily Trust and Vanguard newspapers said the raids were carried out on Friday and Saturday. Police officers patrol near a journalist in Abuja, Nigeria (22 May 2014)Image copyrightREUTERS Image caption Nigeria's security forces are being urged to do more to stop the Boko Haram attacks An editorial in Punch said one of its distributors witnessed "a group of heavily armed soldiers" storming the cargo area of the Murtala Muhammed international airport in Lagos and searching all the editions waiting to be sent out. The commanding officer said they were acting on "orders from above", said the paper, adding that papers were prevented from entering Ekiti, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Edo states. The Nation said soldiers told its distributors they were acting on reports that attackers were attempting to use the newspaper distribution system to "ferry explosives to wreak havoc". "They were civil but they gave us stern instructions not to attempt to distribute our copies," said the unnamed man. Witnesses said delivery drivers had their mobile phones confiscated and were not allowed to take the newspapers when they left. The Daily Trust said some of its vendors were arrested, and that a senior military figure there had accused the media of "publishing and selling falsehood". It said the raid followed a report it published on Friday accusing senior army figures of using army land for personal use. Army spokesman Gen Olajide Laleye told Agence France Presse that while vehicles were being searched "we are not preventing any newspaper from being distributed". Another spokesman, Major Gen Chris Olukolade, said the operation was not intended to infringe on the freedom of the press but to prevent the distribution of materials with serious security implications. But the Nigerian Guild of Editors said the media "do not bear arms but rather we bear information", and likened the operation to the censorship the media faced when the country was under military rule. Sue Valentine of the Committee to Protect Journalists warned that denying access to news "sows the seeds of rumours and distrust". "While we recognise that Nigeria faces security threats, these can never effectively be addressed by media blackouts or persecution of journalists," she said in a statement. "We call on authorities to respect the vital role that media play in circulating information and holding government to account."

Buhari #ResumeOrResign
We must tell the man (Buhari) who said he had integrity, the man who asked Yar’Adua to resign in 2010 when he was sick, the same thing he said to the late president is the same request we are making to him. A President that has been sick for 94 days would resign if he has integrity.” YarAdua failed to handover to the vice president thus creating a power vacuum. Buhari handed over properly, so both cases are completely different. |

Politics / MEND Pulls Out From PANDEF by OurYansh: 3:30am On Aug 14, 2017 |
MEND pulls out from PANDEF
Spokesperson of the group, Jomo Gbomo, in a statement, said: “Our decision to abandon PANDEF stems from the commercial and political motives of the leaders and most of the members, who now see the platform as a means to bounce back financially and politically.” “It is also as a result of the lie told by Chief Clark to State House correspondents after the PANDEF volte-face meeting with the Acting President on Thursday, August 3, 2017, where he said that MEND was part of the parley when the group was not represented.
“MEND has also lost confidence in the effete leadership of Chief Edwin Clark and HRH, King Alfred Diete-Spiff, who like Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, still crave for power, wealth and pleasure to the detriment of developing the younger generation in leadership,” the militant group said.
Its words: “It is annoying working with pretenders who conspired to keep silent when Goodluck Jonathan wasted the opportunity of the region and were part of the conspiracy to suppress the voice of Henry Okah and MEND.”
“Today, the East West road they have suddenly realised that is in need of urgent repairs is a shameful deathtrap, which passes alongside oil wells and sits on top of huge gas reserves. “PANDEF is demanding for the road to be completed, but during the six wasted years, these same members used the dilapidated road, lost loved ones there and said nothing, engaging instead on worthless pleasures, with the Abuja residence of Chief Clark as the rallying point. “Chief Clark, who had direct access to his ‘son’, Goodluck Jonathan did not advice the former President to address the root issues and develop the region.
Many sons and daughters, who enriched themselves, including the current PANDEF leaders, have no single viable industry built in the Niger Delta to show for it. “The assets they have acquired are now forfeited to the region or the EFCC. Those ill-gotten assets cleverly hidden from the EFCC that we discover will be attacked and burnt to the ground,” it added.
MEND asserted: “The Niger Delta is today blessed with private, State, and Federal University presence; including a Maritime Academy in Oron, Akwa Ibom State, which was established in the early 80s. One begins to wonder if the desperation and insistence of another similar university as a top priority by PANDEF is not just a ploy to cover-up an established financial crime.”
The group stated: “MEND will in the interim align with the new Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, under Barrister Oweilaemi and will continue disdaining the old impostors claiming to be IYC,” “We will also cooperate with the Niger Delta People’s Congress, NDPC, and genuine militants desiring change such as the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, which have shown consistency in doing away with the old order,” it said.

No church attack in Onitsha – Anambra govt
The senior special assistant to Gov. Obiano on social media, Mr. Ifeanyi Aniagoh, Sunday, said that the alleged Assemblies of God church attack in Onitsha is nothing but a falsified report.
He said that nothing like that happened except an attack on policemen along Oguta road in Onitsha. In his words, “No Church Attack in Onitsha, Please Ignore the Rumour! The Onitsha incidence has nothing to do with church attack as confirmed by the Anambra Police Public Relations Officer, Princess Nkiru Nwode. “She said the attack was on policemen who were on foot patrol along Oguta Road Onitsha. “According to her, the attackers were hoodlums who disquised themselves as masquerades to dispossess innocent citizens of their belongings and in the process killed a police man and injured some others.
“Recall that in an effort to ensure safer society, the government of Anambra State recently launched Motorbike Brigade in addition to several other Security Units that maintain regular patrol of our communities.
“May the soul of deceased officer who died in active duty find eternal peace,”he finally said. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/08/no-church-attack-onitsha-ifeanyi-aniagoh/ 1 Like 2 Shares |

linearity:
Femi admitted guilty before the Georgia Supreme Court, refunded the $25k he misappropriated and was suspended. It has the same effect of been convicted.
He was caught, dragged before the Supreme Court, seeing no way out and with a possible disbarment steering right him, he had to plead-out his case and accept the lesser punishment and he is no different than out criminals who stole money from the public...THEY ARE ALL THE SAME!
The Georgia Appellate Legal Ethics has this documented about his case and it is in the public domain for anyone to access...
Is a three year suspension from legal practice same as a conviction?? While this shows that Femi has a dent on his integrity, I do not believe it's same as being convicted as Was the case with Thief James Onanefe Ibori. |
