this! if this were the US walahi, her family can sue her pr for gross mismanagement. celebrities have issues with their personal lives, drugs, mental health, even crime. as long as they’re making good money, their PR will work to uphold the image they created for them. That’s why you hear about celebs that are a nightmare irl, but to the public they’re angels. The whole point of PR is to control image & public perception. that’s literally their job.

Erica’s pr didnt even create an image for her. they knew her image was in the toilet when they signed her and instead of coming up with a fresh one and feeding it to the public. they felt the real Erica should just keep it up. Erica would have burned out at some point, she’s not long term investment but she had a good 2-3yrs run if her management just did their job.
everyone would have made some money & be happy till it’s time to cut her off in said 2-3yrs time and she screams for blood & goes on a full rant on IG live on which she’ll breech at least 7 terms on her contract and cry later when she’s fined and escorted away from the premises while spewing profanities.

Her management didn’t do much to capitalize on whatever potential she brought to them.
Now she has gone on a rampage in her reign of terror, burned bridges, put so many ppl in unfortunate positions & ran her brand to the ground.
this is like one of those stories where doctor forgot scalpel inside someone’s body after surgery. like... it truly didn’t have to be this bad.
by just letting someone else manage her accounts, they could have truly prevented about 25% of the damage she’s caused herself. they were careless even with problems that can be tackled with minimal effort, so the problems that needed actual effort, they probably just swept those ones under the rug. i doubt there’s anything they can do to repair her image at this point. she just has to get lucky. only God can help her now.

at what point does a management say ‘ok Erica we’re logging you out, Obinna here will be incharge of running your accounts, if you want to post something, you text him & he’ll post it for you’ and change passwords and lock her out of her account for the sake of her social image & the blood pressure of her unfortunate fans. i even forgot to add when her mom joked about killing laycon on her ig live & she had to end the live session.

2. They let her publicly carry on with kidd, i don’t know the iq of the manager of her pr but i want to believe he knew kidd is not serious about any woman especially not erica.
She could have solidified her fanbase if she focused on her brand but she was trying to be beyonce and sadly for kidd he was the jayz of her choice. she carried him around like a teacup puppy & he stressed her tf out and it showed.
