Rev. Dachomo’s accusation is baseless and aimed at causing unnecessary tension. The JTF OPEP condemns the misleading narratives and hereby warns the propagator to desist from causing panic and discord among the peace-loving people of the state to abstain from such acts or face the full wrath of the law.” But despite the denials, Dachomo’s alert turned out to be true as the very night he raised the alarm, three communities in Barkin Ladi were attacked simultaneously with over 17 people killed. |
Geopolitics cannot be one straight line. Even a country can make strategic miscalculations abroad, yet still have accurate human intel on ground elsewhere. Iraq and Libya were policy choices driven by ideology not because intelligence didn’t exist. Those same intelligence networks still monitor religious extremism and insurgent cells globally. The fact remains: Nigeria has been on multiple international watchlists for religious persecution and extremist expansion for years. Our own FG keeps downplaying it for political optics. So yes America can be wrong in one region and still be correct about what’s happening here at the same time. Two things can be true. Lifestone: |
IgOga:Nobody is saying the US is a charity. Every superpower acts based on interest. But the fact that they have interests doesn’t erase the reality on ground. Yes, Iraq WMD was a political agenda, not lack of intel. Even powerful nations make strategic blunders. Nigeria’s crisis has been documented for years by UN, Amnesty, ICC, Global Terror Index before the rare-earth minerals gist started trending. Minerals and religious persecution can coexist. One doesn’t cancel the other. The simple truth is If nothing was happening, there would be nothing to exploit. The real problem is the FG downplaying and rebranding attacks as clashes while whole communities are being wiped out. The question shouldn’t be what does the US want? The question should be Why does our own government deny what the whole world already sees clearly? |
I'm glad the United States will always have solid Intel before coming out to make assertions. They know more than the FG!!! |
Tribalistic opportunists are the enemies of Nigeria |
Can we now start a debate to ascertain if the victims are either Christians or Muslim instead of tackling the real issues of insecurity and seeking the USA intervention if we aren't capable of fighting these insurgency |
I can bet this is XR in iphone 17 body |
I was expecting a relatable storyline in the video though nice concepts |
That's normal gaslighting and blame game by the FG instead of tackling the problem.. What we are saying is complicity and nonchalant attitude, turning deaf ears towards the cries of the slain and victims of these genocide. The security of lives and properties of citizens are far below on the priority list of the FG. The FG priority checklist should look like this: 1. Coastal Highway 2. Ensure all opposition state gov. decamp to APC 3. Implement Income Tax 2026 to raise election funds 4. Shuffle the military to avoid any Coup d'etat 5. Negotiate with bandits and terrorists for good deals 6. Empower data boys to suppress the truth and gag the media with propaganda All other subject matter can wait or go to hell |
We should feel the impact of these summits. Enough of wasting tax payers money on frivolous trips. What happens to press briefing after returning from such conference to make the common man understand what has been achieved. We should demand accountability from our leaders. Shettima would return and nothing would be said about this trip ever again. Very wrong |
I thought they weren't interested in the stakes anymore. I guess the 15% tariffs on petroleum imports did some good brain resetting. For the first time I commend the FG for taking the bull by the horns and putting saboteurs of economic progress in the place they belong. For me Dangote should not give them more than 5% they lost that right |
Wise decision, false information and propaganda has eaten deep into our media space. A lot of debunking of news going on which makes one skeptical whenever there is a breaking news and anticipation of debunking and rebuttals. This is absurd!! A scapegoat should be made out of this for others to learn. |
Only northerners are fuming in the mouth in all of these |
All hands should be on deck now to bring a halt to these incessant killings. Politics should never involve lives and properties of citizens |
State Capture should be the only reason every other article and lengthy explanation is just optics |
Congratulations for this Jamboree and sham!!! If I may ask what has been your impact and legacy to deserve Hall of Fame entry? Oh well I forgot Eksu is a joke itself |
APC!!! A party of thugs, criminal elements and hooligans |
Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you Sir!!! |
Misplaced priorities and avenue to loot more tax payers money |
Dear president Donald Trump, please send help speedily, the martyrdom of Christians has been on going for decades despite our cries and please. Thank you for your hasty attention to this matter |
These facts are glaring to the blind. Common the social media is an archive where videos and all sort of evidence can be found to assert these claims. |
ycat:Terrorist loving and apologists cry me a river but your days are numbered. Nowhere to run or hide. All your gimmicks and gas lighting tactic don't mean a thing to president Trump and right thinking Nigerians. |
This right here is the kind of constructive opposition Nigeria needs. Not noise-making or tribal banter but clear metrics, accountability, and follow-up demands. INEC has been promising “credible elections” since forever, but without measurable standards like result transmission speed and complaint resolution rate, it’s just grammar. We’re tired of motivational speeches during press briefings Nigerians want performance, not poetry. If INEC can actually publish an after-action report and include youth and civil society in an oversight committee, that’ll be a game changer. But will they? That’s the question. Election transparency shouldn’t depend on the ruling party’s mood or who’s contesting. NNPP Youth Leader made valid points now let’s see if INEC walks the talk or just adds another chapter to the book of “we tried our best.” The youth are indeed watching... but we also need to act, not just observe from comment sections. |
ycat:He could authoritatively remove an elected governor without offering a choice but then when it comes to security of lives and properties "he offers" You must be delusional to think you can insult the sensibility of me and other logical thinking Nigerians |
The killings continue. Who will bell the cat? The military and intelligence agencies seems helpless at this point |
All issues of possible state capture should be pending for now. The insecurity tensions in the country is alarming to politicize or speculate 2027 elections in 2025 |
An example should be made of them. In the height of these security tension and possible invasion of World Powers they have the guts to still dent the country's image further |
ycat:Quit the gas lighting and cry me a river if you want to I have a tears collector. Maybe your glaring bias would change if the tables were turned and Christians are allowed to be armed to defend ourselves from bloodsucking demons aided by the government |
The government of we will, we shall, we are going to.... So it takes an external factors before you sit up. It's mind boggling that terrorists would sack a Christian Village, kill and maim hundreds of people, mass funeral goes on and the president will never show empathy by visiting these displaced, grieving communities or even as little as press release acknowledging the heinous crimes. At least Jonathan was known for visiting the crime scene of bomb attacks in matter of hours to commemorate with the victims and show empathy. This nonchalant president never cares and gives the attitude of "y'all can die for all I care" Without these new developments he would never react to the plight of the masses. Come to think of it? Why are they debunking the Christian genocidal tendencies and claiming Muslims are killed as well instead of tackling the issues and bringing these terror groups wielding sophisticated weapons and RPGs whom they take monthly photoshoot with and strike deals and negotiations to book |
Don't give me reasons to see you as a mole, remember what was said about you during the October 20 protest before the after thought arrests made by the NPF to save face. You are beginning to show your true color and the side you take. Anything to save Christians in Nigeria being slaughtered like chickens, dispossessed of arms to defend themselves and left at the mercy of terrorists is welcome |
ycat:Quit the tears!!! You all did nothing about it. A country where Christian villages are sacked and murdered en masse and not even a press release showing empathy from the president. At least Jonathan was known for visiting the crime scene in a matter of hours. Your nonchalant president and governors are all complicit in this genocides and days of reckoning are fast approaching. Deal with that |
