obi4eze:Please remove Ghana from that your list. Did you know the Ghanian cedis can be referred to as hard currency when compared to naira? Stop playing |
Many use pain from heartbreak, loss and rejection as fuel. It's more mental than physical. The body is only a reflection of how sharp, disciplined and focused their minds are |
I think Nigeria as a nation has lost it completely. Fake news flying freely without background checks. All news headline lately must involve debunking and re-debunking. Who is to be believed now?? |
Interesting twist, Tonye Cole didn't sue Wike o, he’s going after Channels TV instead. 😂 That move actually makes sense legally, because it’s the platform that aired the alleged defamation. But politically, it’s like shooting the messenger while the real talker dey sip palm wine in Abuja. Still, it sends a message media houses need to start filtering reckless statements. Freedom of press no mean freedom to damage people’s names. Let’s see how this one plays out because if Cole wins, every politician go start thinking twice before running their mouth on live TV. If Cole wins this, Channels TV and every media house go start inviting guests with lie detector machine. 😂 |
Regulation in Nigeria it usually translates to controlling what the people say. Truth is, social media didn’t create the disrespect, it only revealed what people have always felt about bad leadership, injustice, and hypocrisy. You can’t mute frustration when the streets are hungry. Instead of tightening the internet, how about tightening accountability? Fix the system, and you’ll be shocked how peaceful the timeline gets. We can’t keep using unity as an excuse to silence truth. The mud we’re in didn’t start from tweets it started from the top. |
The IMF can present all the numbers they want, but anyone living in Nigeria doesn’t need a report to know things are still tough. Growth projections don’t fill plates or pay rent. Until our leaders match these statistics with real discipline, transparency, and investments in the people, all this progress will remain just figures on paper. Still, Nigerians are built different, we keep rising out the mud, one honest hustle at a time. 🇳🇬💪🏾 |
No propaganda will erase the fact that a DNA needs to be conducted to ascertain the paternity of Liam |
lexy2014:good question. The G-24 isn’t a policy making body per se, but it’s a strategic platform where developing nations coordinate positions before global financial meetings like IMF or World Bank discussions. If Nigeria uses the chairmanship well, Cardoso and Edun can push for fairer debt restructuring terms, better access to development finance, and trade policies that favor emerging economies instead of just echoing Western priorities. The key is whether they’ll truly represent Africa’s interests or just attend conferences and read speeches. That’s the difference between holding a title and holding influence. |
anonimi:you’ve asked a fair question and that’s exactly where I think the conversation should stay, accountability without cynicism. True, Abia isn’t a finished product, but let’s be real progress takes time when you’re rebuilding a system that was broken for decades. You can already see improvements in salary payments, pension clearing, road rehabilitation, and basic transparency unlike the impunity I personally witnessed under the previous administration where Federal Allocation was shared by the previous Governors, their Godfathers and cronies like the state was under the grip of the Mafia. Nothing was ever done, no visible changes or progress of any kind, not one road construction was executed except the only center table flyover at Aba that took 8 years to complete. My point wasn’t that Otti has “fixed everything,” but that we at least have a model of leadership trying to do things differently something we rarely get in this country. The real challenge now is whether we, the people, will sustain that standard and demand it everywhere else, instead of giving up too early or acting like nothing can ever work in Nigeria. |
₦10 billion donation from a former militant? That’s not small money at all. It really shows how blurred the lines between government and private security have become in Nigeria. The same people who once fought the system are now funding it, life has truly come full circle in the Niger Delta. Tompolo just proved again that in Nigeria, if you fight the government long enough, they’ll eventually pay you to protect them. But to be fair, at least he’s putting something back into society, how many politicians can boast of that? Still, let’s be honest this is basically taxpayers’ money recycled through federal contracts. The bigger question is when will we build a system where generosity doesn’t depend on government-favored contractors? |
anonimi:We are in perilous times. One can't help but wonder when these leaders would be patriotic and people centered. The real people who have a burning desire to effect a change and see Nigeria work are rarely ever given a chance save for the miracle of Abians in person of H.E. Alex Otti and a handful of others. |
Good move on paper. Hopefully, it won’t just be another title without impact. If Cardoso and Edun can actually use this platform to push reforms that attract real investments and improve trade terms, Nigeria and Africa as a whole could benefit massively. Nigeria don collect G-24 chairmanship, nice one. Now make dem no go use the chair do photo ops only. We need real economic progress, not more grammar from Abuja. 😅 |
Ekeneegwu:Which continent? |
Nomerci:You forgot he was double crossed by a 1999 Camry. It would be difficult to take such risk without consequences |
Once beaten twice shy!!! Never would I do such a thing. Man has been turned into a trick. He will keep on paying and should expect nothing of value in return. Been there!! Doesn't end well. Demand value as you provide value in all your dealings and relationships with humans else you'll be a doormat. Life is a two way street, don't shortchange yourself in the quest for love, affection and companionship. Set standards and raise the bar accordingly as you upgrade yourself. Never settle for less |
Wealthoptulent:Yes na xo.. Everything does not start and end in North America where strange practices and decaying morals are the norms. There are many other countries in Europe and Asia where you can raise children in sound morals to be useful to themselves and the society |
Nothing beats a jet2holiday! I will raise my kids overseas and they will come home to Nigeria every year to know and relate to their roots. |
The "Will Soon" People are here again!!!! That's classic manipulation and high level gaslighting spotted. Give the people hope while defraud and loot. Anytime you hear these hopeful phrases eg. "your suffering will soon come to an end...'' A heist has just been successfully completed. can't just keep it to themselves they got to sell hope to you if you like or not. Guess who does the dirty job for s cheap fee? Data boys😂 Nothing Changes on the masses side. |
IbnB:Whatever makes you sleep well at night. I don't believe in reincarnation. Everyone only has a shot at life and I owe it to myself to get rich or die trying. I play chess not checkers |
I wouldn't only consider it. I will consider borrowing or selling off some assets to actualize relocating to Europe or Canada faster, rather than waiting to save up 500k naira (a little over 300usd) to actualize migration goals. I love my country Nigeria but the news headlines everyday is nothing to write home about. How does a sane country with right thinking leaders beg, broker peace deal, negotiate with terrorists and allow them go home with their RPGs, machine guns and AKs to continue sacking communities. What about the unfavorable economic policies that we are gaslighted everyday to believe are working for our good while the citizens can't afford good meals. Lastly, Nigeria's ever rising inflation will bastardize that 500k earnings and reduce it to peanuts in a short time |
Gerrard59:In death you know and feel nothing compared to all the inhumane treatment and low standard of living that is associated with poverty |
Namaster:Marinate sent me 😂🤣 |
emmaodet:Apt... The scars that emanates from entering a relationship from a position of weakness is everlasting and traumatic. I would rather die a monk hustling and trying to get rich than being a lap dog and object of ridicule begging to be loved by ladies |
I have been in your shoes and understand you perfectly but my case was different as I had an edge as a rich kid. I had girls from same 100lvl to 500lvl drooling over me and wanting my attention. 500lvl girls with the biggest bundas I could ever imagine invited me severally to their lush apartments and would cook for me and we had fun alot. Not necessarily sex though inclusive but good conversations and laughter and company. Long story short, my dad which was my sponsor lost his engineering job role at Schlumberger in my 300lvl. Well life taught me a bitter lesson from then as I couldn't afford to keep up with my lifestyle, drop, designer perfumes, sneakers, expensive apartments rent etc... All girls wouldn't look my way anymore including my beautiful girlfriend in my department same level. I couldn't take it anymore I had to drop out and focus on the streets. Well I made it and now have girls drooling over me again though it comes at a price, I learnt my lesson, Never Broke Again |
Antoeni:Na him Obama trying to buy shawarma |
Laptop/Data boys are cooking an unbelievable response to gaslight intellectual citizens of Nigeria. Hold on |
I hope the intelligence report was right and not a mass raid by the NPF as damage control. I am a lover of good news and this is a welcome development if these are the real culprits. |
This is truly inspiring. The sky is big enough to contain all the stars. Lessons has been learnt, as long as you put in the work and grind your name and legacies can be immortalized even before death comes knocking. |
I feel his pain and resolution to get justice for his son but the system has been bastardized, while the culprits move on with their lives. DNA or not mohbad baby mama must have had a new man by now |
November24:What an irony. This advice is meant for you that don't read. You really need sense |
