Day 5 So, it’s today’s update on my #30daysmorningwalkchallenge exercise. Some people will always want to wipe themselves when things go wrong and not as planned, but not ME! Today just like the last 4 days since I began this morning walk exercise, I have noticed that I now sleep well without struggles only to wake at least an hour before my exercise begins, so today wasn’t different until 2 kilometers into the exercise that it decided to rain! At that point, there were 2 to 3 decisions I had to make within those few minutes before the rain becomes unbearable and at this time, I have done 3km and so, I decided to halt the walk and found a place to hide from the torment of the rain. I couldn’t help but smile to myself that it’s one thing for a man to propose a thing and it is another thing for God to answer! So today, it rained over 3 hours, and this disrupted DAY 5 of my 30 days morning walk challenge exercise where I couldn’t put in my usual 2 hours 15 minutes but still achieved walking for 6.89 kilometers: 1. I made 9,192 steps 2. I again succeeded in walking 6.89 kilometers. 3. I burnt away 517 Kcal which is equivalent to 3.4 Can(s) of Coke. Now, what do I want you to learn from my exercise today? Don’t be discouraged if you miss a goal, START OVER AGAIN! So, WHERE did you leave your gauntlet? Pick it up and start over again! Make sure nothing distracts you from whatever you have committed yourself to do in the next 21-30 days? Are you going to start afresh? THEN, wake up, take up the challenge now!

Day 4 Update on my #30daysmorningwalkchallenge exercise There are things you need to understand about life and about trying to succeed in attaining whatever goals you have decided to pursue! I am a person who is camera shy and every day I try as much as possible to beat my phobia for the camera, but most of my friends believe that I have what it takes to face the camera, but I think otherwise! EVERY MAN has something he dreads most and mine is the CAMERA. But this piece is not about me or the CAMERA, but about you and why you haven’t made attempt to pursue your goals. A friend of mine shared with me a brilliant idea of desiring to start a podcast and I having known him for close to 20 years now, I believe that he should have started that podcast about 10 years ago, but he is not doing anything about it because he feels that he doesn’t have the resources. I even told him that all he needs is to start with just what he has now which is a smartphone! See, there are 3 things that you will need in order to succeed anywhere or at any time and they are: 1. The capacity to think. 2. The COURAGE to START. 3. The resolve to be CONSISTENT. Having SAID THIS, why aren’t you pursing your great desires that will help humanity to be better and by extension making you to earn an extra income? I couldn’t but help thinking these thoughts loud as I sat on my bathroom tub this morning immediately after DAY 4 of my 30 days morning walk challenge exercise where at the end of 2 hours 15 minutes I have achieved my goal of walking 10 kilometers: 1. I made 14, 393steps (585 steps more than what I did on day 3). 2. I again succeeded in walking 10.79 kilometers nonstop. 3. I burnt away 814Kcal (33 calories more than that of yesterday) which is equivalent to 5.4 Can(s) of Coke. Now, what do I want you to learn from my exercise today? I want you to understand that without CONSISTENCY, focus means NOTHING! So, make up your mind to be committed to something that will improve your life and the society in the next 21-30 days? Are you going to start? Wake up, take up the challenge now!

Day 1 An update on my #30daysmorningwalkchallenge exercise. So, like I wrote yesterday, this morning at 6 am, I set out for my 30 days morning walk challenge and being the first day, many things attempted to stop me from carrying out my goal, but I defeated the initial challenge which was rain! But at the end of my 2 hours exercise, I was able to achieve this: 1. I made 11, 230 steps within the 2 hours. 2. I succeeded in walking 8.42 kilometers nonstop (by this, I may decide to trek to Abuja by June 12, 2024, to attend Democracy Day!) 3. I successfully burnt away 136Kcal (calories) which is equivalent to 0.9 Can(s) of Coke which I have decided to cut out of my addictive daily habit. 4. I met a 16-year-old girl doing this same exercise and she told me that she is actually practicing for a walking competition going to take place at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin and she has been on this for 2 years. The moment we finished exchanging pleasantly, she was already 5 electric poles away (Then I knew old age have visited me!). Now, it was fun, and as I came home, with 3 sachets of water I congratulated myself for having the courage to START! Now, to achieve success in anything, you must develop the COURAGE to begin. Come to think of it, how many times have you set a goal for yourself, but fear didn't allow you to BEGIN?! It doesn't take anything to monetize your expertise, experiences or knowledge, but the fear that you will not make it has successfully stopped you from trying! There are many books you could have written, but the fear of who will buy it have prevented you from taking the first step of actually writing the book. Some of you have even written the books, but fear, not LACK OF MONEY has killed the initial zeal to get the book published! If you ask me, there are many COGENT REASONS not to succeed, but a step at a time will give you victory. So, what is that GOAL? What will the fulfilment of it do to you and others who look up to you? Wake up, take a challenge now! #Johnrewardspeaking #KnowledgeMonetization #knowledgesharing #facebookviral #walkingchallenge
